Best Country Tracker
This is a great app to track how many countries you’ve been too and all the cities and regions too. The only thing I think missing is a friends list to compare your countries visited

Wonderful!
One of my favorite apps! Very useful as someone who is a serial globetrotter and I love how the premium features are a one-time cost and not another subscription like we’re so plagued by nowadays. Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is mostly because I feel like the attractions feature is poorly implemented - for example, I’ve been to just the Beijing airport in China for a long layover before, which I could mark under attractions, which I could mark, but then it marks me as having visited China, even though just having a long layover doesn’t really count as a trip to the country itself. So, I just completely ignore the attractions feature and never mark anything for it. There are a few visual glitches here and there, too. Also, as someone who travels in small towns especially in Latin America a lot, some of the displayed city names for more off-the-beaten-path locations are too official and not exactly reflective of their actually used names in real life (like if the Chicago marker said “City of Chicago” instead of just “Chicago”), but neither of those are big deals. Overall, a wonderful app! I got it back in 2023 and immediately go in and update my map whenever I’ve spent some time in a new destination!
Trip function doesn't work
The dates keep disappearing and it shows 0 trips... for a trip tracker this is a basic function so I am slightly disappointed
Forced update means no longer usable
I liked this app pretty well, but the last time I tried to open it, it gave me a message saying I need to update the app. But the update requires iOS 17.6 or later. I have an older but perfectly functional phone, and sadly now I cannot use this app anymore. Please consider supporting older iOS.
Incredibly clean and excitement enduring
Skratch is a very aesthetic and functional tracker for your geographical destinations! Love the work they’re doing here.
Used this app on my old iPhone but can’t access now
I can’t use this app cause it keeps telling me my “version of Skratch is out of date” with the monkey emoji icon. I can no longer use the app because of this as the app requires the latest iOS, something I can’t use.

Good app however counts the UK as 1 country
Missed opportunity and a lot of disappointment
Missed opportunity, since the app is called skratch it would’ve been better to be able to select a country and actually scratch it away like a scratch card. Also you can’t add friends on here which is disappointing
Needs more features
I like the look and the basics it does are fine but I should have to pay to mark any countries or states in the United States. Also needs of add a way to add friends and be able to compare and even plan locations together and see what we have in common
Best travel tracking app
I use this app religiously to track where I’ve been. I love the function to mark regions and cities as it’s a better representation of where I’ve been and how much more there is to explore. Hope some social features are introduced soon, I’d love to be able to keep track of where my friends have travelled to
Waste of time!
Upgraded to the paid version of this to get the extra features and it doesn’t save any of the information. Very disappointing.
Great app, but please add iPad support!
This is the kind of experience that was born for an iPad. I so want a little more room to survey the map. Would be 5 stars for me if the dev could eliminate the need to artificially enlarge an iPhone app on my screen.
U.S. Limited
Thought I found the app that would show the countries plus individual states for the US. Also have to do Puerto Rico by regions, so it really skews the numbers. Wasted 12 bucks.

I have tried other apps like this one and they all require you to pay to record cities you have been in a country, but this lets you do that for free.

Good way to find out where I have been, only annoying thing is you have to pay for cities, etc. so the percentage of the world you have been to is wrong but other than that, works fine and convenient.
Shiny but half baked and basic
Can’t log a trip with multiple countries even after paying to unlock premium features. Seriously? No way to easily connect the places you’ve been with a specific trip or time otherwise. Yes the map is pretty but this app is very basic.
Countries incorrectly shown
Abkhazia is Georgia not Country. So is South Ossetia. Update your system to reflect it.

Hello, I beg you add that when you add a memory that the memory location pops up on the map with the pin. Like if I had a memory in Belfast and u add it then the photo would pop up in the location of Belfast. Thanks so much

I like this idea and its interface is great. Unfortunately there is a paywall to use the app after 20 places marked.
Great app, been using for a while.
Was disappointed to see Northern Cyprus gone. I don’t understand why disputed territories have been taken away. They are still countries.
Very useful and interesting App
I’ve used Skratch for a while recording all the countries I’ve visited. I found it very interesting to see the countries of world map changing colour as I ticked them off. The latest update really takes it a step further giving much more info about places and also allowing you to plan future trips in countries. I am also told that the Skratch team will be going even further with this and enable multi country trips to be planned. Great if you are going backpacking or cruising. One particular feature that I have used recently is the eSIM feature. This has enabled me to get an eSIM for my upcoming trip so I can keep in touch with those at home. All in all it’s a great app that’s very useful and is getting even better
Infinite “open gmail prompt”
Accidentally pressed on “suggest new city” ended up getting non stop “open gmail” prompt. Simply makes the phone unusable.
Good app
I like this app personally and think it’s an easy record to show where you’ve been and where you want to go. So yeah, only I wish there was a free custom map colour option.
Usefull app, but...
The app is very usefull to sign the places you've visited but the function of signing the cities should be free instead of paying 8 euros...
Hit and miss
Great app in terms of visuals and informations but it never seems to save the cities that I’ve visited I have to reinput them in multiple times. Not sure why it removes them
Fantastic
Yes it costs a one time purchase BUT it’s so worth it. Intuitive, easy on the eyes, smooth, and feature-rich The devs are also very helpful, and will add attractions upon request (if reasonable of course). Roberto added two for me and I’m very grateful. 10/10

Very cool app, unused potential
I love this app as it gives me a visual way to track my travels, however it could be so much more, a simple addition of a friends list, where you can view and compare stats or countries visited would help for trip inspiration or finding travel tips from someone who has been to where you want to go etc. There are other features which would enhance this too like transport links/tracking. Overall, the features it does have are well polished and work well, the upgrades to get regions are a good price and nice addition. Announce those social features and you get your 5th star 😉.
Basic user registration doesn’t work
App freezes and won’t let me finish the wizard. It said user name already used but won’t let me edit it. Link in verification email yields error 503 and says email used not registered. What gives ?
Good app, has a lot of potential
Enjoying this app and is very cheap to upgrade to regions, however so far I’ve noticed some Islands, such as the Greek islands aren’t listed as individual regions which is a shame
One of my favourite apps
I really like Skratch, super good idea and is the best travel tracker I’ve found. Great features and also super helpful support team (shout out to Roberto for amazing assistance!) I will definitely keep using Skratch and I highly recommend it. 😃
Update made free features premium
Latest update just basically changed the pre-existing feature of marking regions and cities from free to premium. I will probably try another app since they don’t even allow to pin more rural places.
Great country tracker
This app works great and is visually stunning for tracking visited countries. I do wish they’d add an add-on for tracking visits to national parks to compliment the cities and regions feature. Adding World Heritage Sites would also be great. I’d love to do all my travel tracking right within Skratch!
Recently stopped working
You can still see the places you’ve put as visited or want to visit but all the explore pages now no longer load. Been like this a couple of months hopefully fixed soon
Cities
I think this would be a lot better if it automatically added cities based on your photos (like it does with countries) rather than having to go through them all individual. I lived in the US for 16 years; I have no clue what individual cities I’ve been to.

Overall best app. Feature request: Would love the USA to be divided by states either in the same app or a different one.

Good but could be improved
This app is really user friendly and I like the customisation options for the map view. However it would be great if I could view all the cities I want to visit/ have visited in a list rather than having to click on the individuals countries first. It also only lists cities within countries I haven’t been… what about all the new cities within countries I have been to? Also please make this iPad friendly!!

Great app for tracking countries and cities - if you’re a fan of travel it is nice to look back at where you have been I would love a feature to be added where I could track mountains which I have submitted and their altitudes !
Requires me to pay £7 to put my country as where I live
I’m Scottish, it requires me to pay £7 to say that I’m Scottish. I’ve not been to any uk countries aside from Scotland. But yet I’m required to scratch off all 4 despite having only been to 1?
Good app
Its a good app. And easy to keep track of things. But I’m missing the feature to add memories to a specific city/region and the option to add memories that the app doesn’t recognize from that place
Waiting for an update
The app worked totally fine until last update. Since then if I scratch a country it does not turn pink anymore. And if I want to undo a ‘want to visit’ country the app crashes. Please fix this.
Great App, but counter will always be incorrect
Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales not being tracked as individual countries means your total countries visited will always be incorrect. The 4 home nations are not regions but countries in their own right, would love to see this fixed.
