Cool app
Like that you can record radio stations all over the world and listen and learn about other cultures.
Audio stops
Hate listening to CNN on ooTunes, it Shows no respect for the news, and its listeners. I am listening to CNN, and it says will be right back with such and such, which I am eager to listen to, but ooTunes keeps playing commercials, and doesn’t start the next segment at the beginning of it, in fact often starts it close to the end of the next segment. I mean if I listened to your commercials, don’t rob me of what I tuned in for . show respect to me and the news channels who are paying you, by not butchering the program, that is not too much to ask.
Needs work
This app is very great as a passionate radio lover. I enjoyed using this app for a long time. And I have to say that as a blind user, the app is very accessible. However, the issue that needs addressing is that there are several broken links on there that might be for stations that no longer work if you could please update this this app would be perfect.

Worked years, now goes into spasm
This happens when I try to listen to Morehead Public radio. It repeatedly gives me the message that this is no longer available. It is not possible to stop the message and this makes the use of the app impossible.
Still The Best Streaming Radio Player
I’ve been using ooTunes for about 15 years. When I first downloaded it, it was the best streaming radio player available, and it still is. It has by far the best catalog of streaming radio or audio sources, search able by genre, location or name. Even better, if you find a stream in the wild, it isn’t in the library developer is quick to add them upon request. This app is essential if you love music.
Dead links everywhere. No reply to email request.
Honestly, 5 dollars will not not break me, also the app developer put time in to develop this great idea, so I have no issues with the money. It IS amazing for visually impaired. But it is littered with dead links. I did follow the instructions how to request a link to be added. Crickets for weeks now. I’m not mad. This is a monumental task to maintain the links. But, there comes a time, where great ideas turn on themselves and might be time to end it. Just be aware, the app has not been updated in forever, no Car Play support, links are most likely dead and no guarantee of tech support to add new ones.

Feels outdated.
This app could use an update. I have been trying to program scheduled recordings for a radio show that plays in the middle of the night, but so far I’m having poor luck getting it to work.
00 Tunes Radio App
I love this Radio app. When you listen to radio stations it records the stations as you listen. You can save the station if you like what you are listening to. There are so many radio stations to choose from. It’s a great app. I highly recommend it.
Ads free? A joke!
Nope. Just listening to a non American radio and all of the sudden I get American ads in the middle of listening a song. Such a lie!
Needs update
This app continues to be my favorite app for radio stations. It consistently works well with voiceover. People have commented that the alarm clock is primitive, however, it is also simple to use and works consistently. Perhaps an update would be helpful just so the app isn't removed from the App Store. recently I've noticed that screens do not appear quite the way they once did. Another reason for an update.
Outdated
In theory, it’s a great app. However, I can’t say it’s worth the $5. Nearly every link I click on is dead. I emailed to ask for my favorite station to be added as the current link is dead. No response. I’m deleting it and forgetting about the wasted $5.
Still going, but slacking
I’ve had this app since I first had my iPod touch. So many years later it is still one of the first apps I install on all my new iDevices. I recently noticed that my radio recordings no longer have the ability to rewind/forward. There’s a morning show I enjoy listening to, but at times I have to lower the volume at work and I’ll listen to it later, but today I noticed I couldn’t advance it.
The Best Radio App I’ve Ever Seen
Honestly, this is the best radio app I’ve install so far. Not only can I search for my favorite stations and add them to Favorites, but I also have the option to record the station for situations where I don’t have internet access. I used to have an app named TuneIn Radio, but deleted it since the recording feature was removed and changed to paid subscription.. I also want to take a moment to give a shoutout to Steve at OTunes Help. A couple weeks ago, I submitted a request to update one of my favorite stations, 95.3 The Beat. The station was previously an alternative rock station, but it was changed in 2021. Steve updated the station info the next day, and I felt a sense of satisfation and joy. Thank you again for creating such a wonderful app.

Would be sooo much better w/ an EQ feature but overall a great app that I use everyday.
Ootunes sinking
The app is pretty okay, but the biggest problem I find with it is that favorites don’t sync across multiple devices at all. So that means I have to search for all the stations I want and save them across my 3 iPhones and 2 iPads individually which is pretty damned awful. I hope you fix this soon.

Falling behind
Sorry OO Tunes, you were my go-to radio app and I've used you around the world to listen to my favourite station, 774 ABC Melbourne. But now that station doesn't work and the audio is strangely duplicated. I asked for help and you blamed the station! Anyway, 774 ABC play perfectly with TuneIn Radio so I have switched.
Excellent internet radio player
Been using for years to listen mostly to bassdrive.com as and app is better than the web browser at quickly loading and listening.
Was once good
When app originally came out it worked great. Unfortunately for almost a year now the settings no longer function and request for fix was answered but not repaired. I think the developper spends more time giving lectures than keeping is app fully functional.

Half the stations don’t work
Just bought this and I’m very disappointed that half the stations on the genre I listen to don’t work,definitely not worth 5 dollars.
Radio Gaga
There hasn't been an update for some time. I gave it 5 * just under 3 years ago. I still love this app however, it does need updating, saved recordings function on iPhone 5 does not appear to work. Despite this I will keep the app and hope update comes soon. For the time being I am giving 3* Previous- I have had this app since iPod touch 2. I am a bit draft because I forget that I have purchased it and forget to listen to it. I have even recommended it to friends and family. It is a joy when I tap the icon and start playing favorite or searching streaming tunes. Love the recording function and the fact that it can also be saved for later. Timer is a fantastic addition, for when your not at home, haven't used alarm clock yet. It joy to use and well worth £2.99 I paid for it. 😄

I see only one review here? I’ve been using ootunes for probably 10 years at this point. It’s by far the best radio app. I used to use Tunein and many others that were ruined over time by added “features”. I wouldn’t waste my time with anything else. Ootunes is the best by far!
Overpriced and crashes
There are cheaper apps out there that are close but what earned this 1 star is it just keeps crashing on my 5s w/8.2.

What happened?
Used to be very good, now loses the signal every few minutes and nearly useless.
Almost the best
Great app for listening to radio and your collection back home if you like and use iTunes. It also does a great job of running in the background. But here's where it falls short of a 5 stars app 1) huge drain on batteries. 2) relies on iTunes for remote access. Should also give option for Monkeymedia or zumocast 3) alarms are not customizable and do not work if app is not running 4) no ability to listen to on board music 5) shoutcast? Police scanner? Where and how? Otherwise a good app for Rhode who like to listen to internet radio

So disappointed
I am in Canada and most of the stations that I would like to listen to have their feed blocked so that we cannot tune in from Canada. Had I known this, I would have never purchased this app. It is useless to me. If you live outside of the USA, don't waste your money on this app.
Great
By far my most used app! Can't be better ! UPDATE 2015: I have to agree with the other reviewers that the app is not getting any updates but the app's creators are still maintaining it and they fix broken stations when you report them, which is great. Despite the lack of updates, the app still runs flawlessly and is still my most used app on my iPhone. Money well spent.
Love this app but....
Love this app and am very happy I jumped on it when it first came out but iphone5 has been out now long enough for u guys to refresh the app to take advantage of the screen size.
Don't waste your money
No lyrics, buffer problems, search locks up, crashes, limited stations, very poor app. I will stick with Fstream, at least it can record...
Excellent radio app
This is an excellent radio app. It is accessible for the blind. I do wish it used iCloud sink I would also like to see a apple watch app and the ability for the user to manually add stations. Another thing that would be nice is a mac and apple tv app.
Don't bother
Monophonic , hard to place notes, middle c stuck on after 10 minutes of use, do I had to restart. Great idea, not finished.
Worth it
Well worth the money, heads above most other apps, dropped 1 star but only because it doesn't have schedule option to listen to previous shows like tune in radio app, other than that I love it.
