Excellent for diabetes
I’ve been using this app for about 5-6 yrs now. So excellent and easy to use tracks my insulin, Bp , blood sugar, carbs, calories and weight. I can email all my numbers directly to my diabetes provider.
Not Good
I had this app for a long time. Changed phones and could not remember my password for the app. Tried EVERYTHING to reset the password but could not do it. Tried contacting support, followed instructions on the app and through the website - nothing worked- and couldn’t get any customer service support. Finally gave up and went with a different app. Very frustrating experience!!
Nice app
Didn’t want to pay for more junk
So disappointed
I finally upgraded to the premium version, expecting so much more. I am not able to add items with a title/label and its nutritional values. The database is pretty much nonexistent. Every barcode I scan is not found in the database and unlike other apps, you cannot add it, which tells me the database will continue to fall short of other apps like fitness pal, Omada, heck, just about every other app I’ve used. If I enter an item’s nutritional info, o cannot label the item. I reached out to tech support and never heard back. This was a feature I expected to be there when I upgraded. While i can track my glucose levels, the substandard food database makes the app practically useless for me since I’m still having to use other apps to log my foods and those do not log my glucose levels. This app was a complete waste of money for me. I’m still searching for an app that has a great food database, tracks nutritional information I need, as well as my glucose levels. Still searching and out money for this app. Sad.
Good App
But frustratingly enough it will not write blood pressures into apple health.
Great Tracking App
I have used Glucose Buddy since I found it shortly after bing diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in November 2014. This is the only tracker I have ever used and I’m very happy with it.

App Does not work
Great for tracking blood sugar
Great for tracking blood sugar. Not so great for tracking foods. Food tracker is a bit clunky often doesn’t respond to edits, Meal IQ is a great idea but it’s not quick and easy for entering foods to be honest.
Was good for a while
For some reason the A1C average stopped calculating. I can never get in touch with customer support. I stopped my subscription because the app seems flawed.
Not sure if this is for Type 2 folks
Just downloaded this today, and trying to add Ozempic to the meds. The only dosage periods are 1-6 times a day, versus once weekly. So, I had to turn off its monitoring. I was also told by my physician to measure my blood sugar about 2 hours after a meal, but preferably at least once in the morning and once before I go to bed. But the app pinged me to take a measurement almost immediately after eating. There also doesn’t seem to customize the blood sugar range - my doctor wants me to control it in a more narrow range than the average. Lastly, the photo of food seems to be a great tool but maybe I am not using it right to measure a mixed ingredient meal like stew to capture quantities of each ingredient. I will let you all know if my experience improves.
Very easy to use
This app has been very easy to learn to use. It covers all the stats I need to record plus some extra. Sadly my meter doesn’t have Bluetooth. I would like to be able to use that feature too! I will still be able to pull up trends for my doctor to see. Excellent app!

Not what it says it is
I switched to this app specifically to be able to print my logs for my dr. I tried to print the first 2 weeks of this month and it WILL NOT let me unless I upgrade. Guess I’m switching to another app
I tried to add my coffee first time today
I’m not diabetic, but I have family members who are. One recommended this to me. I tried to input my morning coffee and I can’t use normal cream so I tried to put my silk half-and-half. The user experience is not very good on the base level, making it look like you can customize. It should say “This is a Premium Feature” or something. I cannot put in custom info, but it tells me to put in the calories? Here it has a crown (indicating premium), but it allows you into that section? Guess it’s black coffee or individual parts? Just shouldn’t allow adding custom items in user experience just put a crown next on that tab and block the whole section.

I like that it gives you options on the label for your log of blood sugar.
No Interface with Freestyle Libre?
I can’t believe this product doesn’t interact with any other CGMs. Very disappointing.

From earlier app, it has come a long way up o a remarkable app, with clear understanding and visualisations

I can no longer print a report for my specialist.
Great app but has bugs.
This app is extremely handy when it comes to helping me log food, carbs and insulin. It helps me keep track of when to give insulin and how much, counting carbs etc. Been using it for years BUT: Needs an update! It can no longer find any barcode that I scan, and when I actually am able to log carbs, the carb count is incorrect. Ex: if I’m eating 45 carbs of rice, the app keeps trying to turn that 45 count into 1600. Please fix these bugs so that we can accurately log our carb count. :)
Truly helpful
I have been using this for years. It helps me not only keep a check on my numbers but allows to show my donor quickly. Also, it has space to write extra notes. I usually keep blood pressure and weight.
Impossible to cancel
I signed up for this app and tried it, decided it wasn’t for me, and tried to cancel automatic renewal. Many efforts to contact Azumio have failed. No response. Just got billed and money pulled from my bank account again! Wound up filing a fraudulent transaction with my credit union and having to get a new debit card to prevent Azumio from accessing my bank account again.
Smart app
Good app, and more user friendly. Couple of Suggestions to the developer if the password option can be given and also monthly / customization report option can be generated. Last but not least if auto calculated Hba1c can be generated based on or reading ?
Worked great until it didn’t.
This is the second time the app has frozen. The first time I was able to access the Help- contact us. Then it had lost all my data, and it wouldn’t accept more. The company reached out to me, rescued the data and all worked well until this time. Now the app won’t open, just spins and spins. I can’t contact the company through the app. Perhaps they will see this and help again. But twice in 6 months is a bad track record.
Good App But...
I use this app to keep track/ control of my diabetes, The only main problem I have is the database of UK foods or the lack off should I say. Would definitely rate this app a 5 star if the developers were to improve on the UK foods database.
Works good
For a majority of foods, the numbers have been helpful, but they need to review some submissions as there are foods listed with 2-3k carbs.
Dishonest
Free trial . I’m offered a one week free trial for the premium version, when I accepted it, they charged my bank account $42 right away and my bank alerted me and denied it and cancelled it right away but they still keep it active for when an opportunity comes to take my whenever I update my bank card. I filed a claim with my bank to prevent them from putting hands on my money. I will deinstall the app from my for goods even they will still be able to charge me.

Keeps asking me to spend 4.99 to up grade, not sure what more I get for a fiver.
Food tracker is bad
Food tracker needs A LOT of improvement. Barcodes don’t work. Been using for 2+ years. Very few items come up on search. Wish it was better bc then we could track everything in one place.
Love this app! Not this version
I’ve been using this app for a while now but sadly this latest version does not work. Starts initially and immediately closes. I’m sure you guys are on it.
Great Tool!
I love Glucose Buddy! It has been a very helpful tool to manage my diabetes! I do wish that there was a feature to add journal entries to document doctor’s visits and what was discussed. I won’t have to use different apps bc it will all be in one place
No customer support
I’ve used the subscription version for years now everyday to track weight, blood sugar and blood pressure. Then about a month ago they updated the app. I opened it and tried to add a reading and the whole app closed without recording it. I thought I possibly let my subscription subside and sign up to renew. That didn’t work and then I paid twice! I’ve since emails to both the developer and company with zilch response. Not cool!! Avoid!!

The food library has a large amount of poor food carb data. However or whoever is building the library is allowing items to be revised/changed without notice.
Modify portions
I am not sure whether I am missing something but I can’t work out how to modify weight / portions (e.g. with oats it has to be 1 cup, 100g, 1g or 1oz) this seems a bit limited?
Great Aide in Tracking my Meds and Health Metrics
I’ve used GB for a number years now. The Insught tool alllows me to see the results of my meds a testing across a large timeframe. And I have a list of my meds and dosages at my fingertips.
Beware
Before I could even check the ap out, I had to pay a $39.99 subscription. Then there was a prompt for one subscription after another. I just ate the money and cancelled. .

This is quite a nice app, which has a good range of features. My only real criticism is that it only displays dates in US format

The only reason for my score, is that the app is only available in portrait view on iPads. Would be nice if the app used the keyboard on the iPad, so that it can learn. Recommend it.

Reports will not generate
App will not generate a report. Error comes up. Sent 20 emails to support with screenshot of the error. No response. Error still exists. It’s useless to me if I can’t generate a report for my doctor.

Easy to use App. Cloud Sync would be good to have, as well as tabulated charts that can be exported in PDF or printed. Food measurement needs to be in calories, not weight.
Great product
Easy to use and keep discovering helpful features that make it easy to review and modify my diet. Also, it has also reignited my love for cooking and baking, responsibly and deliciously. Say no to ADDED SUGARS. It is the drug that coaxed me into a sugar addiction. I fully accept that and now armed with this tool, i can change beat it back. Test results are always repeatable and accurate. You get what you pay for.
Trying for first time
It’s riddled with subscription prompts and very buggy when using almost any menu item. Freezes a whole lot and is unresponsive often. No way am I signing up. Too bad because this was suggested by doctor.

Handy. Easy to use. Very useful. Liquids need to measured in ML. This function is missing.
Mixed feelings
Easy way to keep track of blood glucose levels. Shame the technical support is so poor - no answer to emails.
Good but can be much better
I am using this for the past month and while it is nice and useful but this can be made much much better..... The reports, logs and graphs can all be made much better. I also purchased the weight/bp premium goodies..... But apart from capturing the basic statistics, it is nothing more and I have not tried ct integration but after buying one premium goody, one has to buy another and so on. Needs to be a comprehensive software if someone is paying for it.
