BEST RADAR APP
This app is the best thing on the market for making sure you don't get in the middle of a storm. It also gives you all the products that the radar produces so that you can make determinations if there is eminent danger or some other important information particularly lightning. It is my go to for every day close up weather. I highly recommend it, especially if you work outdoors.
Radar vs Roads
With the most recent update, it has become difficult to see the radar because of all the roads that have been added. This is supposed to be a weather radar instead of a road map. At least give us the option to turn off the secondary roads that have been added and adjust the opacity of the roads.

The latest release changed the road density, it’s too high. Give us an option to reduce the displaying of secondary and tertiary roads. Or go back to previous version
Really wanted to love this.
Good features are rendered almost useless as the only way to view more than a ten minute radar loop is to pay for a subscription in addition to the up-front payment. Make the payment upfront of make it all subscription, but the deception feels unkind and unpleasant.
Glitches after last update
I’m in central Illinois and I have paid for the pro version for years now, it’s a great way to keep track of the severe weather around here , but after this last update the nws out of Lincoln il is glitching in this. It only showing weather from yesterday 8-15-26 at around 0630 it’s now 8-16-26 at about noon cst

Super good app
The app is really good and it’s the type of weather radar app I was looking for but I live in puerto Vallarta and I can’t see weather there so if the people who made this could make that possible that would be great
Not bad, but not worth $13 plus subscriptions.
If live in the United States and can afford the subscriptions, then this is a decent app with a simple, easy-to-navigate layout. However, there are plenty of other free weather radar apps that come with more features, or at least just as many as the subscriptions for this one give. Additionally, this doesn’t show all possible tilts/ angles for radar stations in Canada, which is a significant limitation when you need high tilts/ angles to look at storms near weather radar stations. The app provides what it states in the description. But, for a $13 app, I would expect at least half of the same features as its free competitors.

The Best Weather App
This app will make any other weather app seem worthless. It’s very accurate.
Outdated Radar Info
I loved this app in the past, however, recently I noticed it’s been very unreliable. During critical times, the radar does not update and loops old radar data. I checked the source and it’s up to date on there, but just not on the app. Very disappointing.
Canadian Review
It was overall really good, unfortunately it doesn’t include most Canadian weather alerts, but it includes the main ones. Overall recommend, but I would suggest to add the new Environment Canada colour-coded alerts.
Underwhelming
I thought I was buying an app that was at the very least comparable to the free MyRadar app, and at the very least with resolution quality that looks like their logo. Instead I got a heavily pixelated radar image that is basically useless. Plus there ARE NO FORECAST GRAPHS! I paid $10 for basically nothing. In essence, I got scammed by AI who said this was the best app. What a joke.
Almost There
I love this app, but missing CarPlay for even a tier 1 subscription is a big miss. They have competitors who have CarPlay options. To level set… prior to Apple’s ruling to allow weather apps in CarPlay my wife had to use RadarScope to navigate us through two merging storms while I was driving (timing, etc)…. Now I just use a competitor of theirs if I’m driving. Their competitor in question helped me to avoid tornadic activity as I was driving family home from the airport.
Best Option Available!
My sibling recommended this, and I just cannot recommend it enough to other people. When I tell you that my immediate family members constantly reach out to me to ask what’s going on with severe thunderstorms, possible tornadoes, hail, etc., I am always certain as to what’s going on. I work as a trained weather spotter for the National Weather Service and it comes in very handy to help me keep an eye out on dangerous weather for everyone. Worth every penny!!
Not worth it
App uses free NOAA data to milk people for subscriptions. You’re better off opening the NOAA site on your phone in the US.
The radar app you need
This app is fantastic and shows you information that you normally can’t access. Updates are much more frequently than what you get from Environment Canada. My only suggestion to the developer of this app would be to add a trial for the pro futures. I’m not sure if I actually want the pro futures or not it seems tempting, but I don’t really want to sacrifice my money yet if I don’t like the futures, if there was even like a three day trial, or even shorter, it would be a 5 star app.
Subscription Required
The app costs $9. All you get with that is radar of your area for the last 10 minutes. If you want the previous 30 minutes you need to upgrade to the “Pro 1” subscription. If you want radar that’s more historical than that you need yo upgrade to “Pro 2.” I’m writing this review as a caution to any of those (like me) that only saw really positive reviews - making no mention of subscriptions.

Don’t Buy! Feels like a scam
What a waste. Not only do you have to pay 10$ to even download the app, to get any sort of information you have to pay AT MINIMUM another 10$ to actually use the app. It’s an appalling display of greed, to hide potentially life saving information behind two different pay walls.
Good
RadarScope is great but it would be nice if Canadian Radars has storm tracks available on them like the US radars do... Also, Why don’t Canadian alerts show up like Severe Thunderstorm Warning boxes? That would be a great feature to have!
No prediction radar
For 10$ you get a 45 minute radar history loop, no future modeling. Pretty much a waste of 10$. Then it wants to upgrade to pro subscription for a slightly longer radar history? And pro2 for longer? Trash business model this all free info elsewhere. Many reviews on reddit likely fake to get buys.
Great in the US, Meh in Canada
Offers way more features in the United States than in Canada. If the same features were offered for Canada as in the US it would be five stars.
Better than Dog Thunder:Storm Anxiety.
To address my title I find it easier to look at the tracks of distant storms that might affect my dog vs the one mentioned in my title. This app along with the composite radar from a local TV station’s app provides an accurate enough heads up to be ready to comfort my hound. The other end is I would have loved this while taking my Meteorology and Climatology class in college. Worth at least the one tier bump up for the weather enthusiasts out there.

Canadian feedback
Excellent app overall. As a Canadian user, I would welcome Environment Canada watches/warnings and more map detail but otherwise am very pleased with this product! Looking forward to new version enhancements.
Exceptional Raw Data
I’ve been using RadarScope since its inception back in 2008, and I’ve been consistently impressed with how far it has come over the years. The progression in available features, performance and overall capability has been remarkable, all while remaining reasonably priced for what it offers. This is my go-to app for tracking storms in real time. Whether I’m looking at precipitation intensity, velocity data, or correlation coefficient, the level of detail on this mobile app is outstanding. It provides the kind of information you’d expect from professional grade tools, right in your hand. In my opinion, there simply isn’t another mobile weather app that matches RadarScope in terms of capability, reliability and depth of data. If you’re serious about weather, this app is hard to beat!

This has been my “go-to” app for years, but this new update makes it much less functional. If this update remains, I wouldn’t recommend downloading it.
Alberta radar no worky
A nice app, and I pay for the Pro version...too bad radar is not working on 2 Alberta sites...what am I paying for? Not happy.
It was great
This should be used every day, accurate weather, via radar of course, yet I wish when you go to look at the warning it should have the type of warning like tornado emergency, considerable severe thunderstorm warning etc. Overall a great app.

Great Customer Service
Had an issue with my subscription and their response time when I emailed them was great! And responses as we emailed back and forth were quick and easy to understand. Have been using the program for a couple of years and have been happy with it. After today, with the help I received, I am even happier!
Paying for features
The app itself is not bad but, having to pay AGAIN in the app for a monthly or annual subscription to access features in an app I already paid 12.99$ for is really annoying and frustrating. I’d personally recommend using any other free weather app instead of this one if you want to know more about radar information around you.
Great App but new UI isn't great
New UI takes up valuable screen space even in full screen mode with the right hand panel bar. There should be a way to hide or auto hide this bar to keep the radar full screen when there's no need for control options. Can't say I like this version over the old. The dual radar display is great but suffers under the new cluttered UI.

Canadian Radars no longer working
After Environment Canada has updated its radar, I think there might have been an error in fetching Canadian radars in this app… all Canadian radars return as blanks. The American ones still work, might be useful if you live along the border.

Low Quality Graphic Output
The radar was highly detailed and accurate before I purchased the app but once purchased the quality was reduced to junk quality.
Great app!
I'm Canadian, Alberta to be specific. I would like to see more info on the maps such as roads, lakes and rivers. A satellite layer showing cloud cover would be very helpful as well. Other than that, EC needs to update our radar network.

More Canadian Support Please!
The radar is awesome but it lost 2 stars because the Canadian Warnings are not shown and the Cell Tracker won't work with Canadian Radar Sites. If these things are fixed then it will gain back the 2 stars.
