Must have app for solo travelers
As someone who has traveled solo, I’ve tried countless apps to help me stay safe, find new experiences and connect with other travelers and locals & and this one stands out. The app layout made it user friendly, and was immediately able to plan my journey with new friends and discover all the hidden gems along my path!! The ability to meet other solo travelers added the social life I desperately needed with my travels, but without the expense and pressure of the traditional group tours I’m used to Whether you’re a seasoned solo traveler like I am or planning your first solo trip, this app is like having a whole friend group right in your pocket with all your same interests !! Going to be a life-time user for sure.
They’ll delete your account for no reason even if you have premium
All it takes is someone to wrongly accuse you of something and your account gets deleted. Wild!
Good in Theory
Loved the idea of this app but there’s def some fixes that need to be done. For example I am unable to edit or update my trip plans I create (if I want to change things I have to make an entirely new plan). I can’t change dates or rewrite the summary of the trip plan at all. When creating a plan you’re also only able to add one country. I feel like since most people are going to multiple countries when they make plans (especially for SEA plans) there should be a feature where you can add multiple countries that you’re trying to visit on your plan. It would def make looking for a plan that fits you wayyyy easier. I also wish there was a possibility for you to click on someone’s profile pic so you can zoom in more and see what they look like. There’s no way for me to gauge what the person I’m talking to looks like (it may just be user error and I have no idea what I’m doing but I’ll update this review if so). I also wish the bff buddy matching was free or at least semi-free. Kinda felt misguided into downloading this app thinking that feature would be free from ads I’ve seen on tiktok and Instagram. Maybe instead the developers could add a feature where non-paying members get 10 or 15 swipes on the bff matching while paying members get unlimited swipes. Edit – Big props to the developers for all the new updates! While my first review was more on the constructive side, I’m really impressed with how they listened to user feedback and used it to make the app so much better! I absolutely love the new features and will definitely keep using this app for all my solo travel plans. <3

Notifications tab crashes the app. Suspected sextortion scammers and business proposal scammers.
men ruin everything
I liked the app, but men keep trying to use it as a dating / hookup app and it’s very annoying. Makes me feel uncertain about doing any meet ups. I see they finally added a girls only setting to the chats and I was so happy about it but then saw you have to pay for it! I personally don’t think women should have to pay for it, for us it’s more of a safety / comfort concern.
Awesome App!
Honest review - I was skeptical downloading because of some other reviews about men in the app. But I was very happy to find that there are “goals only” plans and options to connect with only other woman. Really loved this app so far!
Not a good experience
I don't recommend using this. The functionality to meet people in your city is not good at all, lots of other options out there to create nearby activities. The moderation is also not handled well.
Very good idea, technical Problems
The idea and the App in General are very very nice! You find lots of people there. On the technical side the App just doesn‘t work really clean. Could be way better but it’s already okay enough to use it
Doesn’t work well
The app is polished but when you post within a specific country, people who aren’t in that country will see your post and like it which defeats the purpose of finding people locally in the areas you’re in or want to go to.
Good with some flaws
Only danger of the app is if locals download the app, now anyone can know you’re all alone in a foreign country…

slow and poorly designed app, and 90% of the chats are completely dead. I saw a TikTok for this app and was really excited, but it’s not a good app unfortunately. I hope you guys will make it better so I can use in future

I wanted to try, but the performance of the app made to unusable. Was getting error at wrong times, transitioning from wrong sides, etc. unfortunately it’s poorly built :(

Concept is cool, but really no one uses it. Go out and meet people if your travelling solo or meet hostel friends. It’s really something that has to happen organically.
EU adventure
I’ve been solo traveling across the EU for the past month. Going solo has been my go to app to make friends. Made the whole experience way less lonely and way more fun. I’m never going back ✈️🤪
This app is dangerous
I downloaded this app to find girl travel friends but now I’m getting harassed by random 50 year old men saying they want to travel with me It’s a rarity you find a girl in their 20s and when you do they never answer, I even bought their travel buddy feature which was just swiping on more creepy men :/

I’m going to Yosemite alone for the whole summer and I was looking for a travel companion and this app is perfect! It’s exactly what I was looking for! I haven’t found anyone yet, but I hope to soon!
Good idea, poor execution
This idea is really good, as it addresses a problem that many solo travelers face — we want to meet other travelers and it can be hard to meet people as a solo traveler, especially people who maybe don’t like or feel too old for party hostels to meet people. However, this app is clearly unfinished, and paying for the app did not improve my experience with searching for other travelers. I’m glad that there’s finally an app for solo travelers, but the user experience needs to be refined to be worth paying any money for it.

major problem: harassment
I love the concept of the app. Tried to use it to socialise in a new city, but got harassed, luckily these people would not see my exact location, but I wonder what would happen if one is alone in the same street of the person harassing. Also, the app cannot be used at all without location. What if I just want to connect with someone from one of the groups and not by location?
Great App
Just got the app, as a solo traveler in south and south east Asia I love how you can join groups and meet other travelers. It’s also really helpful for planning trips and seeing where people have been.

The app does not work
Concept is great. Needs improvement.
The Location Feature needs improvements. You'll find Groups only if you type in the exact same location. For Example: Bali Groups will not show up under Indonesia Groups.
Does not work
To be honest I've given it way too many tries and it just does not work. Rarely works. Can't login Can't load profiles Can't see conversations Which is basically what I would mostly do I think. I will still give it another tries in few weeks/months.
Most reliable app that brings travelers together!
I can say that it is the most reliable application that brings solo travelers together with other travelers on the other side of the world. Although it has some parts that need to be improved like most applications, it has become an application that I check frequently and meet travelers from various parts of the world and plan trips. It definitely deserves to be more active.

Amazing app to meet travel friends
This app has been a great tool to meet other travelers. I’ve been trying to find a good app for this and this is definitely the one.
Misleading
I downloaded this app after seeing an instagram ad about the matching feature only to find out that you have to pay for this feature. As a female solo traveler who doesn’t always have every trip planned out it would have been nice to have this. Ultimately I decided to delete it doesn’t seem to work well unless you have your travels planned out. And my form of travel isn’t always super planned out.

So this is what's going to make me finally make the move and travel solo. It's alway been a dream but with getting a bachelor's, starting as a brand new social worker, I didn't have the tools, time or money to make my dream come true. So, this app is now ready to be used. Maybe, i'll finally be able to see the sea for the first time ever sometime soon 💞💞 ps. Huge fan of Ashley as i followed her for the longest time on tiktok !!!
