Switched from Bambu Handy
Bambu’s privacy and open-source issues sent me looking for alternatives. Orca Slicer’s nightly builds took care of slicing once H2C support landed, which left the Handy app as the last piece. This filled that gap perfectly — full remote control and monitoring over LAN/Developer Mode, no cloud required.
BS money grabber…
No where does it say that rtsp only works for subscribers so right away rtsp users cannot even try this app, thanks for wasting my time, uninstalled and removed everywhere.
Easy set-up; reconnects frequently when remote
Set-up was a breeze. And when I’m connected to same network, works great, but when I’m mobile, or not on same network, seems to loose connection quiet frequently. But still allows me to be able to monitor my print jobs from the office when I need to. Thanks for developing.

Nette App leider eingeschränkt in der Nutzung
Habe die Pro Version gekauft um diese mit meinem Snapmaker U1 zu verwenden. Leider lässt sich das Octoprint Plugin nicht installieren aufgrund Limitierungen der Firmware. Kamera stream bleibt nach ca. 5 Sekunden live Bild mit paxx12 Firmware stehen. Bei mir funktioniert das Monitoring nicht außerhalb der WLANS
Amazing
I have been printing for 10 years now and I discovered octopus print around two weeks ago. It has been a game changer because I have the crealty ender 3 v3 se witch can not print from your phone but for 25 dollars and 1h of your time to set it up you can .
No home safety
I was very disappointed this has no safety to prevent the printer from going home when there is a print on the print bed and just crashes the extruder into the print
Usefull application
Great job guy ! And if you need a feature, don’t hesitate to write to the developer ! He added the flip and rotate feature camera so fast ! Thank again for the feature !
Pay
Description says free but after a while it’s 5 euros per month, how’s that? I supported a year
Troublesome for security
OctoApp encourages *not* using secure connections and has no option for allowing use of self-signed certs. The app doesn’t handle https redirects well either. So in order to actually get the app to work, you have to disable https redirects or disable https entirely on the server. This limits its usefulness as you shouldn’t really do that outside of a local network.
Works great with my Klipper setup
I run Klipper in a Docker container, and it works great with the crysxd OctoApp plugin container as a host. The live widget features are useful for tracking progress, and the notifications let me know when to check the first layer, and grab the finished part.
Very primitive app
I had lots of hope for this app. I have OctoEveryWhere account with all my printers on that account. But this app doesn’t give you an option to login to that account. And furthermore as soon as you manually add a printer to it. It doesn’t provide you with an option to add more. I just got Mobilraker from App Store. Definitely Mobilraker is a 5 star app in comparison. It connects not only directly but also through OctoEveryWhere and Obico.
Okay for Elegoo CC
The app is fine for my Elegoo CC, but I don’t get notifications about print start, finish, etc. Given that, I prefer the CC Tool app, same information, more compact format.
Not responsive to commands
I’m a bit disappointed in the app. Every time I try to run a command it does not process the command to my printer. If I try and adjust speed or simply turn on the chamber light it never registers the command. It works well to view the camera but that’s about it.
Elegoo
Pretty annoying the app says it supports elegoo but to get any notifications or anything usable you need the octoprint companion plugin or any other plug in for octoprint and they do not support elegoo. I don’t see the point…
Best App!
I have this app on my other phone, it is fantastic for control of Klipper and Bambu printers! I tried others, they aren’t as great as this one.
Impossible de me connecter avec cette appli
Mes IHM Octroprint fonctionne toutes sur mon réseau, sauf avec cette application qui me dit que mon certificat n’est pas bon, et montre une fenêtre furtive qui se referme aussitôt empêchant ainsi toute autorisation d’exception. Donc pour moi cette application comporte un BUG non résolu. Je désinstalle donc immédiatement cette application qui me donne zéro satisfaction et me fait perdre du temps.
Incremental Updates are Great!
How do we get support for Klipper-based Printer firmwares… for instance the new printers coming from Creality, FLSUN etc. that have open end web UIs based on Klipper? It will be good if we can plug into those printers.
Anfangs sehr gut, später leider verbuggt
Habe einen Qidi X Plus 3 & habe die App damit ständig verwendet. Die App an sich ist optisch sowieso technisch super gut zu bedienen. Aber nach ein paar Monaten kam es leider zu Problemen mit dem Dateiexplorer - Dateien können nicht geladen werden Überprüfen deine Verbindung und versuche es erneut. Dies liegt nicht am Qidi, was ich erst vermutet hatte. Andere Apps und auch per Direktzugang hatten keine Probleme damit. Die Firmware wurde extra nochmal neu geflasht, leider ohne Erfolg. Es trat erst auf, nachdem ich ca. 80 Dateien auf der SD Karte hatte.
Amazing App across iOS and Android
Really amazing app that works seamless across devices. Every feature you want in octopi made available in the mobile app with an excellent balance of notifications and customizable control
Z-axis movement behind paywall, will break your printer on movement
This app essentially allows for Z-axis movement whilst simultaneously putting actual values behind a supporters only paywall and ignores the limits communicates by the printer. On top of that one tap of the button to move the axis will proceed to push it infinitely upwards to the point the print head of my printer was damaged. If you limit things behind a paywall, which I can understand as everyone needs his/her bread, atleast do so honestly and without limiting such crucial features or allowing for such disasterous outcomes. Do not recommend.
Companion download
I love this app and it works great, but I’m unable to on my iPhone download the companion plugin on my iPhone, so a lot of extra things I can’t do. Anyone know how to?

Please add an option to rotate webcam interface
Amazing app for remote control of your printer. Feature packed and great. My only grip is my camera is mounted upside down and I can flip the interface. It’s rotated in Fluidd so not sure why it doesn’t work. otherwise I’d give it the full 5 stars.
Best App Ever!
This app and its developer are incredible. They have done what Elegoo can’t or hasn’t. The UI, the functionality and overall care that went into its creation shine through at every moment. I wish every app could be this straight forward, responsive and well supported by its developer. If you need app support for Elegoo Centauri Carbon 1 and more, it simply doesn’t get better than this app. 👌
Works great but doesnt work with klipper
It says it works klipper but apparently you need to disable security completely for it to work which is not something i can do.

Impressive
Rarely does an app work so seamlessly it operates better than designated apps for the printer. So far it’s been flawless!
For the Anxious Printer
This has everything I need to make sure my prints are going well, including the ability to stop it from anywhere. The free version does everything I need and keeps a live feed on the printer so long as I am on the same network. There is an option to pay $3 a month for remote access from anywhere as well.
