Follow Dexcom
Honestly best 2.99$ I’ve spent a month to keep live updates on my husbands sugar. It reads better than his app (Dexcom G7) when his sugar is reading “Low” it will read the exact number. Also app has widgets so you can have on home & lock screen with LIVE updates every 4-5 mins.. Great app!! Recommend if you have anyone who is a type 1 diabetic and need to keep track of glucose levels!
Didn’t work
Tried this for a dexcom widget but it never worked, support never responded to email about it not working.

Paywall
This app is really convenient for diabetics, but unfortunately the convenient features are locked behind a subscription. Yet another fee for diabetics to pay to have some sense of normalcy. If it were a one time payment, that’d be better, but a subscription? Really?
Issues
Worked great for a long time. No matter what I do I can’t get readings on my iPhone locked screen anymore. This is so important for checking overnight readings with one glance.
Love It!
I love this app so much. It has helped with the tracking of my 5 y.o daughter’s sugar even when Med.Tron’s app won’t work like it supposed to. The only thing I would love to see is the Active insulin. Besides that, I think it’s one of the best options out there.
Stopped working no help
Hey if you get this app, it might just stop working! I assumed my subscription had ended; NOPE! Just another person who loves taking money from disabled people! COOL! ✨UPDATE✨ They are keeping my blood soaked money because that’s the way they stay rich and we stay poor! 💕🥹
Love it
Amazing app, love how it can go onto my Apple Watch. The updates and icons are really fun. 10/10 💙💙💙 Edit: There should be a way to follow two or three peoples blood sugars instead of just one.
Another subscription…
Living with Type 1 diabetes is not cheap. Managing it shouldn’t be expensive. I’m absolutely turned off from apps that take advantage of diabetics who rely on tech to make their lives easier and more efficient. It shouldn’t cost a subscription to maintain readings of blood sugars that you already pay ALOT of money to keep in check. The app works great with my Dexcom g6, if you are still on that system. Apple CarPlay and other features are incredible, but again I’d rather pay a one time fee to unlock these features than pay subscriptions- this isn’t worth that and feels predatory.
Decent, but needs some tweaks
Overall, this is a decent app with a lot of good features like the follower communication options and live track. However, it needs some improvements before I’ll subscribe in the long run. First, the Dynamic Island data disappears if you swipe away and takes a while to come back. Second, the live activity data loses connection and says “no new readings” until you toggle it off and back on. Lastly, I want settings to only see the Dynamic Island and live activity data if I’m high/low beyond thresholds set for that specific feature. Meaning, I’d like to see the live activity if I’m below 100 so that I’m aware, but I obviously don’t need an alert to blare at that level. Having DI and LA live all the time just contributes to alert/data fatigue.
Can’t live without it !
Seriously love this app. I love how it’s a simple tap to wake my home screen up and I can see my daughter’s numbers right away. I don’t have to sign in, go into an app and wait for it to load or open. Quick data/reading telling me instantly how fast she rising or dropping to make better decisions on how to treat. Makes managing diabetes a little easier
Worst App support!
Have always wanted to have my sugar levels show in other ways so I downloaded this app. Followed all the instructions did not work contacted support. Got one question per email just continually told to follow the link and things that I had already done. Support was awful. I’ve deleted the app! Unfortunately, had to give it. One star would have love to give it nothing.
Exceptional app. One request to make it perfect.
This is the best app to track glucose that I’ve tried. Notifications are great, with iOS 26 and Tahoe I can have the widget and live menu constantly and see my numbers. The widget in CarPlay changed my life. I can see the trend which is invaluable. The only thing I didn’t find is having Sweet Dreams on my iPhone in Standby mode, when I am going to sleep, which is ironic given the name of the app. It would be fantastic if that is implemented.
Medtronic user
Wish it worked better with a Medtronic pump. Half the time it can't refresh but it will still work for the live updates on Home Screen, usually lagging though. I appreciate the stats page. It's something the Medtronic app is lacking so I'll keep it just for that

Sad
Very cool app but 3.99/month? Seriously? It’s just mirroring your existing CGM app. Yuck.
Was really great until Libre3 plus
ETA: I was able to speak with someone and we sorted out what was going on. It’s working just fine now! My prescription upgraded to the Libre 3plus CGM and now sweet dreams won’t display my number on the Lock Screen as it once did. I am looking to get an Apple Watch so I can get my number there too but I don’t know if Sweet Dreams will be updated?
A shame really
App looks really decent, however they charge for features that are already available for free with apps like Gluroo and getting it to link up with my Libre was more difficult than it should be. I keep getting errors that my account details were wrong, when they were not. Eventually it started working, but all the features that drew me to the app are behind a paywall. If lock screen and Dynamic Island readings were part of the free version, like Gluroo, then I would have given this app more of a chance. Customisation options to widgets and Dynamic Island look great, so if that’s something that you are willing to pay for then this may be the app for you, for me however, it’s not.
Problem with Latest update
The app has been really good. However, since the last app or IOS/apple watch update, the widget appearance has changed to the worse. I used to have a blue icon at the top of the watch indicating the widget and it was always available once I scrolled on the watch. Please retain this feature!

Get this off your phone - NOW
Even after turning off notifications in the iPhone app and removing from my MacBook, I still get notifications on my MacBook. Snooze doesn’t work either. ZERO links to customer support. This is essentially malware.

I get more use out of this app and probably anything I use on my phone and iPad. Great job to the makers of the app to help all of us with diabetes.
Not working
After multiple times are trying to re-link this app to LibreLinkUp it has failed every time and can’t be relied on. I had also paid for one year subscription that I’ll get that back. My advice stay well clear this app it’s not very good.

Paywall for basic features
Don’t really agree with charging to enable apple health sync/watch use and putting lock screen readings behind a paywall. It’s actually a lot of basic features behind a paywall. It’s predatory and I won’t be using this in the future.
$30 per year. Too easy
My Sweet Dreams runs off my Dexcom G6 cgm. There are satisfying benefits having your current blood glucose level being spoken to you by your phone. You are able to setup a widget on your Lock Screen displaying your current blood glucose level. Dexcom has never thought it would be of benefit to supply a widget for their G6 cgm. Sweet Dreams has beaten them to the punch. Apple supplied a widget but it disappeared after a iPhone update. Without it I was lost hence my search for a replacement and I discovered Sweet Dreams and this is much more than I expected.
Nice up with problems
It’s a nice app with many features compared to the freestyleLibre. Since the widgets neither on the lock screen nor on the home screen are working I don’t see the benefit for paying for an app that most important feature is viewing my historic because I can do the same with the LibreLinkUp app, too (just connect with yourself and you’re able to swipe through your values of the last 12 hours)
The free version is limited
This app would be great if it updated automatically in sync with the Dexcom app, but the free version doesn’t. All I’ve used it for is to replace the Dexcom G6 widget that disappeared in a recent iOS update, and I added the widescreen complication to the Modular Duo face on my Apple Watch, so the number is much bigger than the Dexcom app and the graph is in the background. In case you were wondering (like I was), you can change the units to mmol/L. I kept my Dexcom complication for now to compare them today. Sweet Dreams shows you how long it’s been since it updated - it seems to go 30 mins+ unless you click on it. Often there can be a big difference between the readings as a result. I’ve taken photos as examples but can’t attach them. That defeats the purpose for me - accuracy is the most important thing. I assume most of the other reviews are for the paid version. I’d be happy to pay a one-off fee but I’m not willing to pay a monthly or annual fee.
Best Display
Anytime my blood sugar requires close monitoring I always put on my Sweet Dreams app. Love it because one quick glance gives me an understanding of my current status.

Widget
Great app to have quick access to sugar level directly on the pick screen. Can you let me know why every 8 jours it disappears from the iPhone lock screen and i have to open the app for it to appear again? Is there a setting I have not Use that could avoid that?
Funktioniert leider nicht auf der Apple Watch
Ich hab gerade die siebentägige kostenlose Testphase am laufen, ich habe versucht, die App nach bestem Wissen und Gewissen einzurichten, aber so perfekt ist mein Englisch dann doch nicht, um alles zu verstehen. Eine Übersetzung ins Deutsche wäre wirklich hilfreich. Auf dem Handy funktioniert das auch ganz gut, aber auf meiner Apple Watch erscheint immer nur „Premium required“, was ja momentan eigentlich funktionieren müsste. Deswegen bleibe ich bei Libre Watch und spare mir das Geld.

Total Game Changer 🧃✨
As someone who has had T1D for almost 20 years and has little to no object permanence this has been a total life saver for me! Having my sugars easily available in front of me whether that’s on my lock screen, Apple Watch, or my car’s dash has been the biggest game changer! I’m no longer fumbling around with my phone apps or my pump to see what my sugar is. Knowledge is power and that’s especially true with diabetes! I feel safer, more aware, and more prepared. I can’t recommend this apps enough!!

Dissapointing that it doesn’t integrate with apple health which is essential. I would definitely use it if it did.
Downgrade
On my combo iphone/watch, th free version of this app was not better than other similar apps. I really liked, though, the watch app wich displayed, pretty consistently, my glycemic values. When the watch missed an updated value (wich happens quite frequently with Apple calendar and Apple watch apps), I could see the time elapsed since the last update so that I could instantly realize that the value dispayed on my watch was out of date by 5-10-15 minutes (clever). Unfortunately, the last update broke the watch display (a dot now appear out of nowhere like 5.5.) and the time elapsed is not displayed anymore. Glad I was on the trial of the free version or else I would have been very disappointed to loose this important info. By removing « time elapsed » display, app is no longer of any use to me. Going back to long trusted other apps.

Widget
The widget on the Lock Screen is a great idea if it would update automatically and consistently. Having to unlock your phone and open the app to get the widget to update kills the purpose of the widget. I purchased the app solely for the widget so I will need to cancel my subscription.
