im actively laughing
i havent even used the app yet, i just got it after going to the mall today. first of all, ive not experienced any issues with creating an account. second, i just read a review complaining about the oldest year that they have; 1920. the reason im laughing is because this person is really complaining and putting a one-star review because the app wont go up to 111 years ago💀. its hard to believe someone is functioning and shopping from SPENCERS while they gamble with their life everytime they close their eyes😭

how to improve it
The way to improve the app is adding actual products to this one, why create the app if you can just go to the web page and check whatever’s Spencer’s Nation is selling? In my opinion, the app is useless if it’s only used to gain “points”. I know ‘just press the link, duh’ but still, the app can be improved with adding the actual products to the application :3
Amazing App!!
Probably one of the easiest apps i have on my phone. it keeps track of how many pieces of jewelry and tees i have bought. they even send coupons out which is totally awesome!! would definitely recommend the app because it works at any store. i also like how i can send it to my email to not have to have so many papers in my purse
i had to delete my account.
i got this app wanting to earn points. i tried signing in but its only phone number & not email. it kept saying my information was wrong but i knew it was right so i made a new account and its still saying my information is incorrect.
Is the referral program done?
Before you could do referrals and get punches towards free stuff is that not a thing anymore?

Spencer’s, please fix your app. I bought a lot of jewelry a while ago and got a free jewelry rewards I decided to save it for the next time I needed new tapers. Tell me why I put in my phone number and the employees can see the reward but they had me try to look at the rewards in the app and couldn’t find it. I didn’t need an update and my data was on. Luckily they were kind and put it through anyways. We don’t need a glitchy digital app, merge it with the regular app or go back to paper please.

It won’t let me shop online??
Signed up and it won’t let me shop online, or even find a store.
App not useable and accounts mean nothing now
Can’t browse in the app, can’t log in online. I downloaded the app and created an account. Unfortunately instead of having a store front in the app it automatically opens up a new webpage. What’s the point of having an app? I can’t even use my log in information that I just created because the website keeps saying my email and password info is incorrect. Seems to be a long running problem with customers that remains unfixed. Please fix this for your businesses sake!

I bought a chest binder $45 online then when it came it was too small so I set up a return to get a larger size I can’t find my tracking number through fedex which they need now I’m out $45

Kinda dumb
I made an account in store and it wouldn’t let me login, and when I made a new account in the app every-time I wanted to shop it redirected me to the website. Which was exactly why I got the app, to shop in the app not the website. Just go to the website don’t waste your phone storage🥲
Fix up the app and let us buy on the app instead
Idk the app is so pointless, why have to use the website to buy things instead of the app? I’d just use the app tbh its just easier too abd makes it feel a bit more safe yk and you guys do have to fix the logging in bc ik people have had a hard time with it sometimes.

I used to always lose my punch cards and forget them. This app is basically the tee shirt and jewelry loyalty punch cards. It doesn’t text or email me constantly like other shopping apps do. I will get random coupons in my rewards tab as well. It’s a great app to have if you like the tee shirts at Spencer’s or wear the jewelry. I see why people are upset about the expiration date but with this you are now able to get points online I think? That wayyy offsets the expiration dates and gives us so many more options when purchasing. Love this app and the accessibility of it. Just needed to make a truthful review so all these negative Nancy’s can hopefully look at the glass half full and not focus on one negative thing that isn’t even that bad.
Cannot sign in
I have made multiple accounts trying to sign in this app is frustrating for a Gen Z!
Stupid sign in!!!
When I try to put my phone number in it says this phone numbers already in use when I know for a fact, it’s not so fix the spencers or you’re gonna lose a lot of customers. Also, App Store a lot of people have nicknames that are the same. You’re just gonna have to deal with it.
Simple, straightforward
The app works as intended. I had the sign in error another reviewer had, which was a simple solution: redownload the app to clear the cache, then simply click forgot password and ‘reset’ it to the password you wanted to begin with. (Yes, the code doesnt work on sign up, but password reset is fine for who knows what reason.) Tl;dr Small error that only affects sign-ups on the app, the rest of the app is simple and very straightforward to use.
App doesn’t work
I made an account in store. Came home to claim points to I made an account. Came back months later and it’s not even working to log in. What a strange app.
you can’t even do anything
You can’t do anything on this app. You can’t search. The only thing you can do is look at your rewards and scan a QR code. There’s no point in getting this really.
Creating an account
This app makes things complicated when creating an account on it. It wants our date of birth which if they want that they should have it set up that we type in our date of birth only not the way it is set up. Also I am not familiar with what all it asks because the date of birth is where I have gotten stuck at all because of the way it is set up. I was born January 01st, 1915 and the app's oldest year is 1920. Until this gets fixed I will only be using the website for shopping.

Edit: You guys seriously need to upgrade or just delete this app completely from the store because it’s worthless and it’s not worth using why would any of us want to use the app when you can’t even use it for shopping at least on the Hot Topic app you can actually pay for things and you don’t have to go to their website! Original: Not the greatest app at all, WE don’t want to have to go to the website! UPGRADE THIS APP SO WE CAN ACTUALLY LOOK AT THE ITEMS INSTEAD OF JUST ONLY ON THE WEBSITE!! 😤😤😠😠😡😡
Annoying and pointless app!
Pretty much what all the other negative reviews say. It's pointless and it's not keeping track of my purchases like I was told it would. I bought a bunch of gauges and was told I could bring them back whenever I need to size up! Great! Right? No. It doesn't keep the receipt like it should so I'm going to have receipt stapled to receipt stapled to receipt whenever I size up/change it out. How are you supposed to keep track of that without a stack of papers piling up. Do better -_-
