All AI models in one
Very pleasantly surprised with the functionality of this app. It makes using AI fun to use and I can choose between all the models. Would highly recommend.
this app sucks
First it was reducing the points from 1000 a day to 300 a day, while all the models are already expensive and use up tons of points- But now every-time i find a good model to use, it gets taken off the app. This app used to be superior over other ai chat apps- But now it sincerely sucks, and just keeps getting worse. If you are looking for something reliable- Go somewhere else because Poe is not the place to get it.
Iphone 8plus not supported?
I'm running into a problem when opening the app it goes to an error message saying the app is outdated and I need to update, which I go to app store and there it just says open app, without fixing the problem.

Issues with app
Hi, when I downloaded the app. It gives you options to select how you would like to proceed. Either with Apple, Google, email or phone number. All options say unable to continue. Is there an issue with the app?
Suggestions
I have used Poe for a long time, and I would definitely recommend this to anybody that likes to make and/ or talk to bots. There are a few problems, though. Like, for example, I once in a while subscribe to Poe for a month. Since the bots I use take up a lot of points. The problem is that the subscription ends up lasting me 2 weeks instead of a month when i reached out for help they told me to go to their website to buy more points but i can only pay from the apple store and i don't want to pay higher for more chats and when i tried to renew my subscription they said it would be active by the time my current one ends even when i cancled my subscription. So i wanted to add a few suggestions for future updates. Suggestion one: Make it so that the monthly subscription lasts a month few examples are adding more points or having endless points for a month or however long the person paid for the subscription. Suggestion two: let subscription buyers renew their subscription early instead of waiting however long to get more points. Suggestion three: put the "Add-on points" in the app as well since in some situations like mine subscribers can only pay through Apple store or Google store. Overall i think this is a good app but i think there should be some improvement.

Please for many of gods make the timer for the limited messages a bit less numbered. And the messaging on this thing is so buns now bro, literally doesn’t give me the story I want or spicy stuff either is so boring

Free points now 300, not 3000
Update: app barely works on some of devices. And when they do, I find out the free points have been reduced DRASTICALLY. From 3000 to a measly 300. I could get though dozens of chats, ask questions, and change details, and barely use a fraction… Now I have a limit of maybe half a dozen before I run out and have to wait forever for a refill. Please increase the number of free points. Doesn’t have to be 3000 again, but give those who can’t afford a monthly payment a chance to be able to use it. Having an input/output cost 45+ makes it impossible to last more than a few minutes.
App crashes after Google account email address change
I recently used Google’s new feature that allows users to change their Gmail address (not just the display name, but the actual login email address). After changing my Gmail address, the app crashes immediately upon launch after logging in with “Sign in with Google.” After reinstalling the app, clearing cache, and restarting the device, the issue persists. The app crashes immediately after login, without showing an error message. It seems the app may still be referencing the old email address as the primary user identifier, causing a conflict during authentication.

Used to be amazing; many bots of all sorts, productivity AND entertainment. You can only send around 2 messages every 6 hours now. Unless you pay over $100 a year.

This app used to be so good but the limited messaging is actually crazy. More than one sentence in youre message and it’s somehow over 300 points? And on top of that, it’s £19 pound monthly just to get more which is absolutely insane. Why would I pay that much when it’s not even unlimited messages? Only being able to send one message to a bot a day is insane and honestly very weird. Who thought that it would be a good idea to make that a thing?? The way the bots respond is usually good too which is what makes it worse because the SUPER limited messaging is honestly the only real consistent problem. Very disappointing to see how money hungry this app has got
App has gone downhill
Been using Poe on iOS for a few years. Over the last several months the reliability has declined when working with large conversations. The app just doesn’t show the text, and I have to go on the computer to continue the convo.

Poe is getting worse
When I first Downloaded Poe it was a really good app. I got answers quickly and would get help. I started to stray away from it after a while and recently got back into it. The points limit is lower and I can barely ask anything before I have to wait 24 hours and my points reset at 7pm. I can’t use other accounts. You can’t follow or save bots like you used to. And I was logged out and now can’t log in from any account

The New point system has to go
I’ve had poe for about a year now I remember back when every response only costed one point and then when you change the point system to each different bot having its own set value, I was fine with that because it never increased however, this new point system is seriously inconvenient. How is it that every single time I send a new response in a chat I’ve had open for like I won’t say months now that price of points keeps going up in one of my chats a Single response is 101 points. this new point system is stupid and it’s obvious that whoever is in charge just did it to make you pay for more points which in all honesty I hate the new point system so much that out of spite I wouldn’t pay for more points, even if I was a millionaire. They lower the points from 3000 to 300 now. Oh but don’t worry the cost of Messages is still the same apparently. Edit: why did a bunch of my chats switch to a different bot that I haven’t used at all and more importantly to change them back I would need to change the default but back to its original one, and this would cause that pop up that says you have changed the default to yada yada, which doesn’t go away and completely removed the ability to interact with any and all prompts behind it

You can’t use the app, they’ve made it that you only get 300 points when 1 message could cost all that and more. Its not worth your time, you’ll be irritated when you see how greedy this app is.
Great app but pretty laggy
This is a great AI app with a lot of bots for each function, you can even create your own! But some bots' chats are laggy, especially the mainstream bot, Assistant.
New update isn’t great
3000 to 300 tokens to use per day shuts down the majority of free users. I love this app but this model is unsustainable for my purposes and I’ll have to go to copilot or something else.
Why is the subscription so expensive??
As much as I love this app, it’s a pain being a user without a subscription. A lot of the best bots cost so many points, so since we only have 3000 we can only send 2-4 actually good messages before reaching the limit and having to wait 24 hours to send another message. If your yearly subscription is going to be £200 and monthly be £17 at least give users without a subscription more points because it’s so annoying.

Points are badly executed
Having 300 points now is perfectly understandable because ai is expensive especially when you're giving users a free experience, however, I definitely think there should be ads to get more points that way users are less upset or are able to get points since a lot of users in different regions are unable to pay for a prescription due to unavailability or if it is too expensive. I'm pretty sure a large amount of users would be willing to watch ads to earn more points. Overall, the app has a lot of functionality and flexibility.

This app used to be my favorite Ai. Now that they want you to pay it gets everything wrong and makes mistakes that it never used to make. Then when it finally gets close to perfected it ask you to pay. The mistakes are not the users error but you still lose credits. Goodby to a once good app.

now, i’ll start this off by saying i’m an avid poe user and have used it for over a year/almost two. at the start, i loved this app, especially for roleplays! it was so descriptive, it was easy to make bots and direct them in the way you want to talk and especially when it was in 3rd person. i swapped from character ai to this, but now i have found myself reverting back :(. ever since my fav rp bot was deleted, they’re all just meh. the filter is VERY strict so you can’t even have action scenes, because the bot doesn’t allow it and always turns it into something pacifying. when it does this, responses are short and i’ve had a big issue with the bot replying in first person even if you put in the input for it NOT to do that, or it talks as the user. it’s not even worth trying to fix it, because either way it’s going to happen. i used to adore this app, but now i barely use it. personally, this is just what i’ve found, and i’m sure it works for other people — but unfortunately, it’s just not my cup of tea anymore!

Great, except for the textbox/input lag
I’ve been a happy user of Poe for a while now, and I wouldn’t choose another application over it for interacting with AI tools. However, it has been a long bugbear of mine that when typing large amounts of text / paragraphs into the input / textbook or copying / pasting large amounts of text, the app becomes very laggy — including the text itself when trying to continue typing or editing / moving the cursor. I’m sure this issue has been highlighted before and a ticket probably exists in your scrum/kanban backlog. However, I’d kindly request this be prioritised as it’s the only criticism I have regarding the user experience. I’m a full stack node/react developer myself, and this would irritate the life out of me if I was aware of a similar UI flaw in one of my products. Please fix it /or hire me and I’ll fix it 🙂.
The app was good, but persistent update iOS requests ruin it.
please get this flippin app to stop popping up with "update to latest iOS for best experience" every time I send a message to a chat bot. The app works just fine on iPad so 17, so there’s no need for this relentless pop up. I’m not upgrading the iOS because I don’t like the design of iOS 18. I pay for a subscription and I shouldn’t be pestered every message to update. It’s really annoying and unnecessary. Please turn it off.
