Chat smith rarely gives a straight answer. It often comes back with an answer Along the lines of ‘I could find the answer but I’d have to do x y & Z . Do you want me to do that ?’ And then disappears down a rabbit hole without ever giving the answer

Horrible
This application uses different AI models, which have absolutely no access to the Internet. Every time you ask for something, it asks you to upload the information so I can do the work for you. You can get better insights from the Google search button! For example, I used Claude from work all the time and it’s amazing at helping me learn new things or analyze; when I use Claude in Chat Smith, it keeps asking me to upload information so I can do it for me. I asked it if he could not just retrieve it, and it told me it doesn’t have access to the internet. I hope this gets fixed because I paid for the lifetime access. $100 down the drain. 😡🤬

I asked for a simple book review of a level 5 spicy erotic book and it refused to give me a result with specific details that were not g rated. I was not looking for porn, there are other AIs for that, just a simple overview/summary of a book.

With the image creation I’m not at all impressed. No matter how descriptive I get, adding specific details of the perspective and subject, this thing does what it wants, cutting out 8 of 10 aspects asked for in the prompt then spitting out an image nothing like what I’ve described. The code generator seems to be working well however. I won’t really know until I hit compile, but it reads well.

I upgraded to Plus expecting higher image-generation limits. After paying, I discovered that the limits do not reset or increase immediately if you’ve already hit them — meaning the upgrade provides no immediate benefit. This is not clearly explained before purchase. If I had known upgrading mid-window would change nothing, I would have waited. This is nonsense. I feel I was robbed.
Missing important information
Firstly it does not give a spreadsheet and secondly it is not friendly to a tabular comparison with competitive products … seems you’ll are afraid that the big corporates will get you !!!!!…. I have to approach other ChatGpt platforms. Thirdly, I cannot access ChatSmith on the laptop … hence I have to keep sending info from iPhone to Laptop
