Unfortunately it doesnt work for me ,emailed customer service they emailed technical department.been a month no email from department 🤷♂️ was trying to reset to factory settings, reinstalling app, even pulling the fuse 19 trick. Still cant use the app

What’s happened?
This app worked perfectly well until a couple of weeks ago when, I think, there was an update. I cannot update my charge limit - it is always ‘temporarily unavailable’ and I have to go out to my car late at night to change it from there.

Lost advertised connected-car functionality
I have a 2025 Škoda EV and until now have regularly used the MyŠkoda app. The latest update requires iOS 17, which my iPhone 8 Plus cannot run. That would be annoying but ok if the previous version of the app continued to work. It doesn't: Škoda has made the update compulsory, so the old app now simply directs me to an update that my phone cannot install. I have lost useful connected features on a virtually new car, despite both the car and phone working perfectly well. If Škoda wants to stop supporting older operating systems, it should at least allow the last compatible version of the app to continue functioning. Requiring customers to replace a perfectly serviceable phone in order to retain features of a 2025 car is extremely disappointing.
Die App mausert sich
So langsam wird’s richtig gut. Das einzige was ich noch vermisse sind Statistiken für E-Autos wie Durchschnittsverbrauch, Verbrauch pro Fahrt, Verbrauch über die Zeit als Diagramm. Alles was bei Verbrenner-Modelle auch möglich ist. Dann gibt’s den fünften Stern.
Why am I being charged for this?!
Strongly object to being charged to use the app considering I bought a new car from you already. Seems like a shameless money grab to me. And as such I resent my driving data being taken in the name of improving same app when I already said no, for the above reason.

The worst App I have ever used, it fails to connect regularly, be weary when setting schedules as it will toggle back to permanently charge when you’re not watching, which in my case taking electricity at a much higher rate. This has been going on for months and Skoda have no fix. Also don’t bother with expensive wall chargers that can cleverly schedule times and solar/home battery levels as the Skoda app/car can’t deal with it, it’s really not smart!
Push-Banchrichtigung
Die App funktioniert insgesamt sehr gut und ist übersichtlich und funktional gestaltet. Einziges Manko: stellt man die Ladegrenze des Akkus auf 80%, erhält man nach Abschluss des Ladevorgangs keine Push-Benachrichtigung. Bei 90% oder 100% Ladegrenze funktioniert es bei mir (ansonsten wurden keine Einstellungen verändert). Ich scheine nach einer Internetrecherche nicht der einzige Nutzer mit diesem Problem zu sein. Wäre schön, wenn das durch ein Update behoben wird. Daher „nur“ 4 von 5 Sterne.
Sync issues and slow
The app sync with vehicle is slow. The version 8.16 has driving score feature and I am yet to see it in my app. It is updated, logged out and logged back in, yet that feature is not found.
Updates in 2026 werden immer besser
Die neue API ist mein Highlight Update in der Skoda App. Es wäre noch cool wenn man die Schnittstelle circa 60 Mal in der Stunde benutzen kann. Das Filtern nach Ladepark Anbietern ist lange gewünscht und jetzt ganz gut gelöst. Wir bräuchten es aber noch im Auto. Die Fahrten Übersicht ist hilfreich. Auch der Campingmodus gefällt mir. Bitte keine Geschwindigkeit verlieren und weiter so. Was ich mir wünsche: Das Entertainment im Skoda ist noch wenig. Spotify war ein Anfang auch die ARD Mediathek für Nachrichten. Mit fehlt YouTube oder andere Streaming Dienste. Wäre es möglich die Bildschirmsyncronisation zu nutzen? Dann könnte man viele Inhalte direkt vom Handy sehen auf einem großen Bildschirm.

Hallo liebes Entwicklerteam, entgegen allen Unkenrufen zu Software aus dem Volkswagen-Konzern kann ich hier nur feststellen, dass die App so läuft, wie ich mir das vorstelle. Wenn ich mir noch zwei Kleinigkeiten wünschen dürfte: Es wäre großartig, bei Ladeplanung den zulässigen Batteriestand bei der Ladepause anpassen zu können (wie bei Start und Ziel auch) und einen Button zu haben, der eine andere Ladesäule auf der Strecke wählt. Zum zweiten wäre es gut, eine Warnung zu bekommen, wenn beim Verlassen des Autos noch ein Fester geöffnet ist. Danke!

Nice car, shame about the tech
Good car, but let down by this poor quality app and the IT systems. Confusing, buggy, and rammed full of ‘features’ which either don’t work properly, or only work if one’s car has them equipped, or only work in particular countries. Imagine doing a Google search for restaurants within your postcode, and getting results thousands of miles away. It’s pointless applying a filter (like a VIN), if none of the results are actually filtered. Emailing support generates no response.
Good app— but very oriented to Electric vehicles.
I love this app, it is brilliant for viewing my ŠKODA at a glance, however, I was a bit disappointed with the latest release of compatibility with the Watch. A lot of updates seem to be focus-oriented at electric vehicles and I would love to see more features for petrol/diesel equivalents.
App not connecting
Since the app update the app is no longer connecting to my car. I can’t even delete the car to reload it! Tried to delete the app and reload, but still not working! It’s very frustrating as it was all working perfectly prior to the update!
Pretty - but waiting to bite!
As with other VW group vehicles, a useful App. In the professional audio industry, pretty much any sound processor one can think of is also supplied with comprehensive software - enabling one to EQ a room, conduct audio analysis, determine the polarity and operating health of in-circuit loudspeakers and create virtual room controls etc. The major difference? With the audio industry, the software is supplied FOC for the life of the product. In the Auto industry, the App gets frozen after a year, unless one elects to pay a few £hundred a year. A rip-off, pure and simple!

Some good features but missing key feature
This app is good to lock car, set charge level, limit. etc. However, it sorely lacks a timing feature. You should be able to schedule a start time for car-charging - eg come on at 11pm and charge to 80%. This is such a basic feature. I was really surprised that it wasn’t already part of the app. Months late - still no update on this. Why on earth is there not a timing feature so you can delay the start time of the charge?
Gute App mit kleinen Schwächen
Leider hängt sich die Kartenübertragung zum Auto ab und zu auf. Schön wäre es wenn ein Importieren von GPX Dateien möglich wäre. So das schon fertig geplante Routen in das Navi geladen werden können.

Wrong car
My skoda app gets connected to random cars and shows all details. Would this be the same for my car being connected to someone elses app?

Manchmal dauert es zu lange, bis die App reagiert. Auch wird das Auto als „Entriegelt“ angezeigt, obwohl es sich eigentlich automatisiert „Verriegeln“ sollte. Ich hoffe der Fehler sitzt nicht vorm Bildschirm.
Penny Pinching Skoda
The app itself seems to be good as does the car I have. However Skoda are treading a commercial path that doesn’t sit well with me & will influence my decision when buying a new car. Locking away features behind a paywall is not good practice and penny pinching. Especially as lots of other car manufacturers such as Kia, Hyundai etc provide these as standard & don’t charge extra. Kia have really come onto their own with their new ev range & will certainly have my interest over Skoda.

Looking down on customers
So far I have enjoyed this app, great functionality, just exactly what you need and not too much. But always missed an Apple Watch app! Now it came! Only for electric cars. Thank you Skoda for looking down on your internal combustion engine customers. That is a decision unfortunately I can’t appreciate.
eigentlich ganz gut
Eigentlich ist die App ganz gut, und zeigt im Widget auch die Restkilometer und ob das Auto geschlossen ist. Besonders praktisch ist der Versand von Navigationszielen. Jetzt gibt es auch die Watch-App, die nach der Installation anzeigt, das mein Auto nicht kompatibel ist… Statt wenigstens die Infos aus dem Widget darzustellen, wird man als Verbrennerkunde virtuell abgekanzelt. naja…

Großes Potenzial, aber …
Leider funktioniert die Routenübertragung nur teilweise, es werden definierte Ladepunkte nicht übernommen bzw. einfach durch andere ersetzt. Wir haben einen Elrop 60 aus 2025. So bringt mir diese Funktion nichts. Ansonsten bin ich mit der App zufrieden.
Working now as it should
A few weeks ago i gave this app a very poor review because it kept stopping my charge every time i went into the app, i put a widget on my home screen which made things slightly better, the app still just randomly stopped charging, I’m pleased to report that with the recent update it seems to be working properly. Thank you Skoda.
App not connecting to my car
Ever since the update, my app no longer syncs to my car and I have to log into my account again on the infotainment system. Skoda support have been really quick though at responding and trying to help me problem solve this

A nice app. The export of charging history is very useful. If the trip history could also be exported it’d get a higher score.
Cannot connect to car
I recently took delivery of a new Skoda Elroq. When I attempt to connect the car to the app I keep getting the following message ‘Apologies... Unfortunately, we cannot complete your request right now. This situation is likely to be a temporary connection issue — please try again later’. Not a great start to the ownership experience.

Credit where it’s due to the Skoda App team, the surprise arrival of Camp Mode is fantastic and works flawlessly, the fact it supports previous generations of the Enyaq for free is unusually generous in a world where other companies are charging more and delivering less. Well done Skoda for continuing to make the cars even better, Tesla better watch out!
Keeps failing
Very poor app. Consistently fails. It’s enough to question choice of vehicle. Just an update. Yet again the app has failed to connect to the car. Very frustrating.
Mileage completed
Good app. Should be able to see mileage trips completed that day and long term use stats.
Just fix the charge now to 100%
Used this app for nearly 2 years with our Enyaq, the one-time charge to 100% feature has never worked reliably, have had various different issues and it still doesn’t work properly - one screen in the app says charging once to 100% but the main screen shows it’s only charging to 80%. How hard is it to implement a simple feature to “one time fully charge” and then the next time go back to optimised charging.
Unreliable
Really difficult to trust this app. It’s so unpredictable whether it allows connection and data from vehicle. Often disconnects and then says unavailable in grey at the bottom of the screen.
