OBDeleven tells me to use OBDeleven vag. OBDeleven vag tells me to use OBDeleven. Both have trouble connecting. It then says I have 5 faults. I go to each section that is supposed to have faults and it says no faults. Frustrated.

Dead app that supposed to work forever.
First they sell you a lifetime license, then abandon development in favor of subscription based only model on a new app. Seems to be a classic scam these days. Filmic did the exact same thing. That being said it’s still possible to get some value out of this app even on “free” plan. I quote because we all bloody paid top dollar for the device that costs few bucks to manufacture, so it’s not free by any means.

Needs landscape mode ASAP
OBD11 is a fantastic app for VAG users, and it works well with my 14’ S6. However, my biggest caveat and what caused me to stop using it, is the fact is does not support landscape mode. I have an iPad installed in my S6 and I wanted to use OBD11 for data logging, but I cannot put the tablet into portrait mode. This forces the app to be sideways which just isn’t practical. It should be relatively easy to add landscape mode to the app, and in 2025 it’s really lame it doesn’t support it when almost every single app on the store does.

These guys greed took over and the app is useless now. While its worked okish with my mk7 golf, it became laggy on mk8, and it’s completely useless with id.4. UI doesnt refresh, “reading” or “connecting” for 20 mins and hangs 3 out of 4 times. Recently discovered i cant use many features i supposed to be using due to my lifetime pro subscription and they direct you to the other app, which asks to buy another pro subscription. One click apps are ridiculously expensive too. Started great, but it’s time for me to go back to vcds and dfirst.

Can’t access app features to see what’s available. The only way to see them is if you are connected to the car.

App freezes the first value you change. Must close it and open again. Connection to car is painfully slow. Paid for Pro to reset the dealer service interval and was unable too. Had a break out my Ross-Tech vag com. In the amount of time it takes OBD11 to connect I already had the service interval reset with Vag com.
Ok when paid. Free is almost a brick
Once you are running the free version, it becomes glitchy. Will not show faults (descriptions) in modules. Troubleshooting becomes easier with a cheap scan tool n
Five star purchase
I switched over to AGM battery I had no idea I had to program it to the car as well as the amp hours. Drove around for a year, not knowing this and constantly getting lights on losing power steering as I’m driving all sorts of weird stuff. Call the dealership got quoted a mind-boggling number. Thanks to the OBD 11. No more check lights car has been fine and now I know why my Subwoofers sounded like butthole. The OBD 11 is a lifesaver. It’s not one of those things you should sleep on overnight to purchase-just grab it now
Crushes and full of bugs on iOS
Was good at first. The. Since a year and half ago, it’s with a lot of glitch and bugs. Scanning doesn’t work plus if it scans, clearing the faults doesn’t work at all. Tried it on VW ID4. 2021 and above models
Pay more attention to quality
The application works ok’ish and the very first impression is that - it requires polishing. With poor internet connection it takes ages to scan over the modules. The very first long coding says „success” and the application freezes. The application has been released quite a while ago and such issues should not exist now.
2024 vw group cars

Why buy an item to have to pay for a subscription for it too. Defeats the purpose. Also even when you use credits it would not allow me to use the credits I bought without a pro plan. Trash app and product.
Perfekt, aber mit Einschränkungen
Nachdem meine Bewertung vom Store gelöscht wurde, in der ich gesagt hatte, dass die App auf einem anderen bekannten Betriebssystem besser funktioniert, was aber kein Problem des Betriebssystems ist, sondern von der Programmierung der App, hier noch mal der Hinweis: Manche Funktionen funktionieren in der Version leider nicht, die woanders auf der Welt gehen. Gemeint ist die Gateway Verbauliste. Codierung eines neuen Bauteils wurde nicht angenommen. Nach dem Wechsel des Endgerätes ging es dann. Ich hoffe der Entwickler liefert hier noch nach und dann gibt’s auch 5 Sterne!
Tells you to dl another app
Every time you use it a pop up with a tiny x for close window in the corner of screen. Wants you to download the app that is inferior and not even complete. What a dev joke.

Ob11 is a good tool if you aren’t confident using vcds but the credits are so expensive

so you buy the sensor, then you have to download the app. then you need to buy a $80 or $300 subscription and even at the highest level you will still need to pay for credits within the app. the device is $90 so you’re like $200 in not including credits. absolutely ridiculous.

Die App ist super aufgebaut und sehr simple wenn man erstmal drinnen ist. Es funktioniert alles wunderbar macht viel Spaß aber leider sind nicht alle Fehler und Texte auf Deutsch
Pay as you go
You spend $100+ for the “pro” mode just to receive a dongle and app purchase only to find out you still need to spend $4+ to do every little task. $4 to release the parking brake…. $4 to re-engage the parking brake.. $4 to reset the oil light (which is free via infotainment system). What a greedy company when competitors like Carly are a flat $70/year for unlimited uses. The app works well but charging you extra to do anything with the car is asinine.
iPhone screen goes dark
Can you please make a change so the iPhone screen doesn’t automatically dim and eventually turn off when scanning?
Astonishingly good
Very good point and click app. It just works. Provides excellent visibility and granular control where needed. Also nice to see VAG functions now supported in the multivendor app variant.
Don’t use this app
All it does is waste your time setting it up connecting updating then finally tells you to install their other app. One of the most annoying app setups ever. Constantly asking you for codes and passwords and tfa garbage. JUST LET ME USE MY OBD11 device!!!!!! OBDeleven take this app down since you replaced it.

VW ID4 3.5.11 software update
App need to be updated to read 3.5.11 VW ID.4 software properly. Currently it’s trial and error to get the car scanned fully and to code which is another issue.
Useless 6 digit password
Good piece of hardware for coding and scanning your car but for the love of god don’t forget your 6 digit password because if you Do you’re going to be waiting forever for a response from their customer service. If only there was a way to reset it from your phone but that would make too much sense I guess.
Extremely useful but not cheap
Really handy little scanner to have and use within minutes. Apps are great at adding missing features from factory or to personalise to your taste.

L’app funziona bene e permette di tenere sotto controllo la vettura oltre che permettere di fare alcune modifiche alle sue impostazioni. Come punti di miglioramento direi che servirebbe una scorciatoia per tenere sotto controllo il fap nelle vetture diesel e per le codifiche lunghe servirebbe avere anche la descrizione accanto ad ogni bit
This is a toy
This can do some interesting things. However, it’s inconsistent, slow and lacks explanation for a lot of the things you can do with this device. Only thing I find it useful for is unlocking the SFD when it feels like it wants to work. Make a wired version and stop charging so much for a subscription.
Works okay but very few apps
I purchased the next gen version this summer for my Audi RS3. There are very few apps and too little direction on how to do other modifications. A little disappointed. If I had known this, I would not have purchased it.
