Exceptional Pastries! A beautiful space in Brooklyn owned by an African-American woman. This aromas greet you at the entrance..the space is inviting and very comfortable . The menu does not disappoint.
Can’t unsubscribe
I’ve been trying for over a year to unsubscribe from emails. I’ve clicked the link, emailed the company and nothing works.
Maybe a bug (UPDATE)
I was finally able to download the app!! I looked around for a bit and it’s quite impressive. I’m excited to use the app for my upcoming trip. After I answer all the questions and get to the last part “what city are you in” it will NOT let me continue. I had high hopes of using this app since I am a black woman who travels very often. I want to ensure that I’m on the safest route possible when traveling with my daughter.
Reviews
Seems like a good app. Do I have to write a review for every place! I’ve been to multiple locations in Europe Asia Africa and south America.
Data grab
You have to be a full user to explore the app. In the get started section you can not continue unless you meet the specific # expressed in the question asked. For example if it says pick 3 maximum and you choose 1. No moving forward until you pick 3, even if the items listed you don’t connect with. I can’t even submit the review until I name myself
Update
I love that this app exists! Thank you Administrators for your efforts in maintaining and keeping information updated.
Cancelled in ‘24 and have been charged for two annual subscriptions since
I got a free trial and decided that this app was not for me. I got in touch with the app creator about cancelling and they confirmed that they had 2 years ago. Then I got charged in 2025 and had to go through the process of refunding and disputing the charge. They confirmed that my account should be deleted this time. I just got charged again for this service a third time when I was under the impression that my account was completely deleted.
I'll just Google it
I love the concept, but I didn't like that I had to pay to see more than one review when I looked things up for Bali. This is supposed to be for safety. It's not that three dollars is too much, it's just the principle.
Error message
I would give it five stars because the safety part is amazing for the information that’s given, but I keep getting an error message that pops up while looking at things, and it sends me back to the beginning of what I was looking at. Please fix other than that the app is great.
Travel Gold
Great opportunity for quality information. Well thought out and executed. Bravo to the founder and management.
Scam
I downloaded this app after seeing all the reviews about how this was such an amazing tool blah blah blah. Immediately upon downloading, I tried to set up my account including my name and email. Each attempt was shot down but only after entering this information and hitting continue, then a message advised the next step (access to the app) was unavailable.
Great App
This is an excellent app for helping me understand how I may be treated in different countries. It’s a perspective I had never really considered before, and I appreciate the insight it provides. Keep up the outstanding work, Lawrence and the entire team!
Terrible
App constantly needs to be updated. Just for it to still not work 👎🏾
Best Travel App
I love the app!!!
Why do you have to pay for safety?
I was going to use this app and then they start hitting with the prices
Very informative
Love this app! Definitely needed in the African American community nowadays ! Would for sure recommend!
I am disappointed
I was excited about this app because we need to know the areas that are safe when we travel. I am highly disappointed because it seems to want all this information about you and I am still waiting over 10 minutes on a confirmation email to utilize the ROAD TRIP function. This is not functioning as I expected to. I had to provide how I travel, when I travel, why I travel, and I can’t even use the app for what I need it for. I need to know where the sundown towns are. Apparently after providing all my info, I still need to confirm that I am me before you provide me what I need the app for. I am not pleased at all.
So needed in times like these!
We’ve always needed this especially in times like these. I have been venturing out to places more with my new job and enjoy being able to help others with knowing the temperature of the places.
Soliciting information and is very intrusive
I don’t recommend the application. I like other black men don’t like intrusive applications. Especially after Musk Rat and his folks are digging in our information. I hate applications like this even more now.
This app is the TRUTH!!!👏🏾
Green Book Global is THAT app 👏🏽 As a Black traveler, safety is everything, and this app makes planning trips feel so much easier and more secure. I love that I can book hotels, flights, and activities all in one place AND get insights from other Black travelers. Plus earning cashback with brands like Marriott, Priceline, Viator, and Expedia? Say less 😍 It really feels like a travel app made for us.
love it!
good app to use.
❤️❤️
I enjoy how easy it is to access features around the app… well organized
