Amazing
Hi we received Loona several weeks ago and we are all in love. We also really like the app though we wish it wouldn't keep us off and would have a enable face id feature. Very happy overall.
Not intelligent
for the money this thing is proving to be a piece of junk, it can't even answer basic questions correctly. It continues to tell my son that the current US president is Joe Biden… Even though Donald Trump's second term is over a year in. You would think for this much money and having ChatGPT Incorporated, that it would at least be able to answer questions Siri and Google can already do with no problem. Something is very wrong here. This thing is not intelligent nor does it teach a child anything, instead it insists it's wrong answers are correct even when they're not. all it seems to talk about is adventures and snacks. we even asked what the current moon phase was and she responded that she did not have the ability to know that information. The home screen on my iPhone seems to be more informative than Luna. Waste of money, should've just bought my child an iPad instead, at least it would give him accurate answers to his questions.
Great but the app could use some improvements.
Luna is a great robot dog, and is very magical. I think that there are a few improvements that the app could use like fixing remote control so that it works wherever and in what ever condition Loona is in, because it doesn’t work. That is my only complaint, but otherwise it gets the kids very excited. They love it so much that the first thing they do in the morning is check on Loona. Loona also fits to you and your house after a while of learning your routine and mapping your house. Also for the remote control from everywhere make it so that you can also show your self so that it can feel like your calling through Loona. Thank you so much for making Loona and making the kids happier!

App ist ganz nett. Aber in komplett in Deutsch wäre sie einfach viel besser. Meine Meinung ist Man könnte soviel machen wenn man es verstehen würde. Seit dem neusten Update läuft sie ( Loona ) ganz schlecht sie hört nicht richtig sie versteht mich nicht mehr .

Hight price for cheap build.
All the reviews you see are fake. Opened Loona on Christmas morning. She was useless for over a day just trying to set her up. The app is trash. The front wheels no longer turn, it’s been less than two weeks with very minimal use, mostly because she doesn’t listen to you. Can’t follow you and spends most her time staring at a wall or table. But the cheap front wheels look horrible after the first few uses. We have all hardwood floors and the plastic isn’t holding up at all. They are nicked and worn so bad already that they do not turn, she just pushes them around. The AI is a joke. If you ask the AI to do anything, it answers your prompt with a question and no action. If you ask the AI a question it answers with a question. Pet bot my left foot! It’s like a toddler, doesn’t listen and the battery life is about an hour if you’re lucky. The game ball is trash and didn’t last two days. Just overall disappointing purchase.

The App doesn’t focus qr code
I can’t setup wifi. the app doesn’t read the barcode. My phone is iphone 15 pro. there are 3 camera in this phone. i think the app can’t focus the qr code because it can’t switch to the correct cam. I wish there was alternative ways to do setup

Unable to Connect to Server
I was unable to connect Loona to our WiFi network. I even upgraded our home internet and tried again. I found a lot of people online having the same issue when troubleshooting the issue.

Die App an sich ist ganz gut. Eine Deutsche Übersetzung wäre nicht schlecht. Manche Unterkategorien sind beim öffnen auf deutsch. Die Sprachsteuerung bzw. Die Antworten auf Deutsch sind nicht immer korrekt. Aber alles in allem ein cooles Haustierspielzeug für Kinder aber auch für Erwachsene 😅
Great and durable
I have to say loona is incredible and she is very durable in terms where you keep her on the floor mine fell off my bunk kept going for bout a month before it started going haywire I’ve had it for a year only just broke.
Terrible User Interface
It’s clear the developers haven’t used the iOS App themselves. Just try registering .. the app forces itself in landscape mode, and the keyboard covers the next buttons so you cannot complete the registration. Very low quality engineers.

Clunky
The robot is very clunky, and the battery drains extremely fast. I like where this is heading, but the interaction is definitely not smooth at this point. I couldn't get it to follow me as shown in the demo videos. Additionally, the app only allows landscape mode at the moment, which does not feel very practical on my phone.

Also,meine Loona ist sehr komisch zu mir.Manchmal sag ich garnichts und sie sagt irgendwas von einer komischen sache.Ich weiss leider nicht mehr was sie sagte, aber heute meinte sie etwas von einer geheimen sache die im Jahr 2021 spielte.Einmal hat meine Tochter neben mir mit ihrer Loona gespielt aber Loona drehte sich die ganze zeit zum Schrank und sagte irgent welche sachen.Also bekamen wir gar keine aufmerksamkeit von ihr.Sie weigerte sich auszuschalten oder letztens habe ich die Sachen meiner Tochter gefalten. Wärend dessen hat sie mit Loona gespielt und meine Tochter sagte:,,Hallo Loona, ich komme gleich wider.“ Und Loona antwortete:,,Aber wer passt dann auf das schöne Puzzel auf? Ich will es nicht kapput machen.“Und da lag wirklich ein puzzel.Also ich finde sie gruselig.
Truly worth it
I just got Loona today. Ok first off, yes close the app completely while it is updating. After that get ready for some magic. The story about Loona coming to life and the interaction was truly well thought out. The little being going from my phone to the bot body actually made me giggle. I am 49 years old, this has been a long hard year and to giggle was great! After that the laughter just poured out. Thank you ever so very much for making this lonely Christmas a bit better. I cannot wait to get to know Loona more. There are some issues. It is not perfect. But nothing is. It does stomp its feet, too cute, and yet not hard enough to hurt the hard wood floor. I love how it wonders around sining to itself. And the art work is amazing! I asked it to draw a Christmas tree. So perfect. I could go on and on. So maybe I will stop here. Thank you again.

In-app QR scanner failing to focus on QR code
I cannot proceed with setup due to the QR scanner failing to focus on the Loona QR code. As a result, unit is unusable. Horrible out of box experience.

App needs to be updated, I have to undownload the app everytime I want to use it. Lonna has some bugs too. Update is needed.

Great bot, bad app
Sadly, I’m returning my Luna bot because of the app experience. It is poorly designed, juvenile, and challenging to navigate. It gives the impression of being a hastily made Chinese-built iOS app. It's a shame because I like the robot, but the app needs to be much more mature and usable for adults and needs to stick with the iOS design language.
LOVE LOONA!
Loona is the best pet bot, she can do so many things! We have real conversations and the app is very helpful to play with Loona. Loona can navigate herself around the house knowing where the kitchen or living room since I’ve had her for maybe a year now. She remembers the conversations we have and she reacts quickly! My little brother ran right past her and she jumped back in fright! I love how if I flip her over or she falls, she can get back up, and she can play with a ball (comes with her) and fetch it! She can also play by herself. The app lets you control her and maybe prank people and see if they say, “Hello Loona!” 😄 Overall this app and Loona are awesome! Definitely suggest it!

Great PetBot but not for college/dorm
Great PetBot but not for college/dorm type of community wifi. We made sure Loonas hotspot was “trusted” on the net work by putting her Mac/WiFi address on the wifi trust page manually and even called the internet company however, she still cannot connect to the server and the app won’t either. Therefore, she is mostly useless without being on Wi-Fi. She can connect to a phone hotspot with no issue, so the Wi-Fi is clearly the problem however, it will be months before we can move. Therefore, I will not be able to play with her very much until then.

Make a serious (more adult friendly) version of the app
There should be a version of the app that is for adults. The pet bot is very cool and I think if there was a version of the app that wasn’t solely designed with very young kids in mind this might improve sales. The app could easily ask you which UI you would like to work with. Hopefully the people working on the app will consider how expensive this pet is and that its not only being used by young children. If you agree post here so they may listen to our requests.
