“Invalid Response”
The app is very useful for auditions. I think there’s a bug to be fixed. I tried submitting material just now and the app told me “invalid response”, I tried restarting it. same thing. I hope it gets fixed
The app misses so much
I appreciate that I can upload my auditions on the go, but keep in mind that the app misses a lot of information about your the project. Make sure you still go onto the website to get all the details.
It’s not working
When I submit a audition it doesn’t let me change the name of the audition so it looks like a bunch of gumble up words and I can’t just change it to my name! So pls fix 🩷

“Due dates”/“Deadlines” for media requests would populate to the app. Right now, I check the app for an audition then I have to head to the website to see when the deadline is.
So close to being helpful but not
So many things wrong. Never shows the rates or shoot dates when getting a casting notification, so I can't confirm from my phone until I open on my desktop to find the full details of the prefect. That's just one example. The video upload capacity is insufficient. Most every self tape asks for a million extra bits these days so I inevitably have to upload a very low resolution video to meet the size restrictions that CN imposed. Maddening
Not much to say to be honest
Well…I had a problem where they asked for my location so I was trying to find it but it seemed like they didn’t have my location so I didn’t know what to put cause again they didn’t have where I lived and by the way this is the beginning like this is me setting up my account
Please fix/add a couple features
It’s a fine app for the most part, I just want to catch their attention because I want to be able to actually click open the reference media photos on casting calls. Also I desperately wish there was a favorites/bookmarks function so that I could return to casting calls that I would like to submit to later on.

Breakdowns
Not sure why, but just include ALL the info for a breakdown in the app. It’s so annoying to get a request and then have to log into IE or safari so I can see all the actual, important and useful details. Due date Rate Usage details Character details List goes on. Why is it like this? Nooooooobody knows. Why won’t they ever fix it but still up their monthly price??? Noooooobody knows. Will I always log in to every other single casting service first? Yes.
Can’t submit to roles on app
App is great but you’re unable to submit to roles even though I pay for the membership. Can’t submit on the app but able to on the website.

Login
It asked me to verify my email address and I’ve already done it multiple times, but it keeps giving me an error message. I can’t use the app because it won’t let me verify my email address.
Lazy design, missing features
Why are features available via the desktop version of the site not available on the app? Even the MOBILE WEBSITE version has abilities the app doesn’t have. Insane that this industry forces us to pay to find work, but can’t even make a working app with all that money they gouge from us.
Unable to sort
App is okay, but once you add a word for search, the order of postings in all out of order and you are unable to sort from most recent to least recent. Makes the search feature kind of pointless

I have been trying to cancel my premium account forever. They don’t have a way to cancel it on the app and I can’t log into my account on my laptop and they do not provide any human contact for support. What a scam. Stop taking my money casting networks,
Hello, Casting Networks.
I’m new to the app because I want to become a teenage actress. But every time I try to use the app it keeps asking for a log in but I don’t want to log in. I want to sign in and when I log in because that is the only option. It says I don’t have an account, and I know that already. I may be doing it wrong please help.
Missing key features
It’s good for submitting to roles but useless if you get an audition because it leaves out all the dates including when the audition is due. Still need to log on to the website to actually see the dates for the project and when the audition is due by.

Major shortcomings
Can be convenient to use for self submission but once an audition request is received and confirmed, the due date is no longer visible. This makes no sense. Also, pertinent details of the breakdowns are not included and only visible on the site. I will continue submitting through the website until this is fixed
Need due date on app!
The app is okay, but for some reason it fails to list the due date for auditions…one of the most critical pieces of information needed!! Please fix this CN.
Pertinent dates missing
App doesn’t give Pertinent dates (callbacks, fitting, work dates). One has to go to the main site to find all that out.
Impossible to cancel
They made it impossible to cancel on the app by yourself. You have to contact them directly to cancel membership, then they try to give you a “free month” to keep you locked in. Quite annoying actually, I’d like to cancel and re subscribe as I choose. The only way to get jobs is checking in day in and day out. Didn’t get any gigs in more than 3 months.
Just a lesser version of their website
This app is pretty handy when it comes to immediately notifying you if an audition comes along. Unfortunately, it falls considerably short when it comes to uploading video. For some reason, whoever made this app made it so that you can’t make the file name to your tape longer than 25 characters. This is such a bizarre thing to do, and it makes it near impossible to upload an audition and label it correctly, rendering most of this app pointless. Until this is fixed, I’m going to continue uploading everything via the Casting Networks website.
PLEASE FIX THESE SIMPLE ISSUES ONCE AND FOR ALL
Update (5/26): The issues have not been fixed, despite the response. I honestly don’t get it. Original: This app could be perfect if we were able to see the dates of every audition due! What’s the point of having an app if I have to go somewhere else to get that info? Also multiple times has happened when I would press confirm on the app for auditions and callbacks and my agent would email me days later reminding me to confirm…when I already did. Now I have to confirm outside of the app because I no longer trust it, which is very inconvenient and defeats the purpose of the convenience of the app. PLEASE listen to the feedback! Please fix these issues!!!!
We should be able to translate the information because no everybody know English
We can’t even copy the information for translation, that’s no good.
21 day storage limit is bogus
Good app but they make you keep your videos on there for 21 days for no reason other than to fill your storage limit so you have to upgrade to the $25/month plan
Overall Garbage Platform
The user interface is absolutely appalling. Can’t so much as change your profile picture without having to subscribe to their overpriced monthly or yearly plan.

Needs a lot of work
While I appreciate there is an app, they never fix the issues with it, yet keep updating it with nothing that makes a difference. You can't see deadlines on your auditions after confirming. This is ridiculous! App changes names of files after you upload. Only 300mb total in an audition, so it negates film auditions with many pages. You can't click on Casting attachments they include in breakdown. Shows your submitted profile pic as a white box. Can't do multiple fie upload so you have to remember what you uploaded and since it changes the name upon upload, have to watch and figure out which file this was so don't double upload. It would be nice if you could bookmark auditions, as many ask you to do a read with initial submission and you have to search back for the breakdown or send it to yourself on the website for later. I'm sure there are more things, but that's I can think of off the top of my head.
