Grand Tetons and surrounding area
We love this app. Priced reasonable and great for Grand Tetons and Yellowstone! Thank u for all the fun facts and information about best places to do this and that and when! Makes easy to plan day!! But more importantly guiding us along every step of the way!! Great app for all who want to keep their head up in scenery rather than down trying to figure out where to go or stop!
App not working well and out dated
Maps not accurate. After taking to park ranger they said they stoped driving in park 2 years ago so app is at least 2 year out of date. Animal sites not working either one of three went through.
Needs some improvement
The tour itself is good and well narrated, with interesting information along the way. Unfortunately, the app stops working when the phone goes into sleep mode. Having to constantly wake and unlock your phone while driving is inconvenient and, more importantly, unsafe. A driving tour app should continue running and narrating with the screen off. Until this is fixed, it makes an otherwise great tour app essentially useless while driving.
Mostly good
Used this on our trip to South Dakota this week and downloaded Custer state park and Badlands ahead of time. It provided good information and usually ahead of what we were about to see, however the audio cuts off prematurely quite often, and now and again when I click ‘replay’ the app had muted itself and I had to unmute it manually. In addition using CarPlay, my iPhone would lock the screen after some time and ParkWolf would no longer provide audio until I unlocked my screen. These bugs made the experience a bit too frustrating in my opinion.
Great for Glacier National Park
We downloaded the app on a whim. It was coming up in my Facebook feed. Obviously my phone was listening that we were going to go to Glacier National Park and Yellowstone. Used it today as we drove the going to the Sun Road. Found it super helpful and informative. I just pinned 4 trails for us to try tomorrow.
It was horrible
Ok we tried to use this app in Hawaii road to Hanna it was spotty and did not work right we tried to get our money back and Apple said no. So we paid for an app we do not like or want thank you Apple.
Needs major work before being viable
Great concept, just lots of bugs with the maps, swapping CarPlay, keeping things open etc. really made our trip to Yellowstone harder at some points.
Great info if it would stay on.
Really enjoyed it when it was on but the second I lost cell service in Yosemite it would immediately drop mid sentence. It also does not restart automatically once we come back into cell service. I would get a text message to know cell service had returned, then have to manually restart the audio tour. That said, great info when it did work and I like the narrator. Would be nice if it also included a feature like All Trails where you could pick your trail and it would tell you when to turn. It was nice to know where I was but still hard to figure out which turn to take to get to our next destination.
AMAZING!!
We downloaded this app before taking a national parks road trip and it has been INCREDIBLE!! The little tidbits of information, the tips on how to avoid crowds, the facts on history and wildlife?! LOVE IT!!
Narration problems
Narration cuts off before being done with information and also starts late. Very frustrating.
Not yet in the park, but skeptical
I've been playing with this app a bit trying to prepare for a national parks trip. So buggy and unintuitive. I'm not expecting much at this point. Disappointed.
Perfect tour guide
First time driving through a national park. We used the Yellowstone tour on grand loop Road and it’s just like having a tour guide in your car with you. It chimes in about sites youre passing and general information about the park. The voice is pleasant to listen to and has the right balance of information and quiet time.
Great Guide
I saw an advertisement for this app while visiting Yellowstone. I checked the reviews before deciding to give it a try. It’s definitely worth it! It showed us sights that we would have just driven past. I paid for a monthly subscription which I suspended after 1 moth. I will definitely reactivate it any time I’m visiting a park!

I am most impressed by this app. So much great info. We found spots we never would have known about otherwise. This app worked to continue to see our location, even when Google Maps stopped.
Badlands
This app is great! Used it at Badlands and other NP in South Dakota. Lots of information. Loved the offline feature as connectivity is spotty at best.
Don’t Leave Home Without It!!
Fantastic app with many points of information… It’s great to just turn on while you’re driving and it gives you an audio tour of the national Park. We love it!!!!

We loved this App! It's informative/educational which was great! However the helpful hint/ tips made all the difference. With this apps help we avoided a hiking back up an uphill climb (With a toddler) by taking the advice of the app and walking an extra 2 mins down to a park shuttle. I will be recommending this to all my friends. As a flight attendant I often had a limited time at the parks, this app helps you see the most in a short amount of time if that what you're looking for!
