ReciMe is a must have app!
I have purchased the upgraded membership and it is totally worth it! Not much money for a lot of benefit! I used to screenshot recipes or bookmark them. I would forget about them or not have easy access to the recipes. This makes organizing and accessing my favorite recipes so quick and easy. I tell everyone who will listen about ReciMe!
Poor Customer Service
I recently purchased a new phone and when my info got transferred to the new phone, my password didn’t carry over and unable to login. I’ve emailed ReciMe three times now and all I ever receive is an automated response that they’ll be in touch soon. I’ve been with them for three years now and couldn’t be more disappointed in the lack of customer support.
Love the idea of this app - needs some updates
I am a 30 something year old that unfortunately made it this far in life without gaining any real cooking skill. So, TikTok videos are really my only saving grace when it comes to preparing dinner for my family. So, having this app available to compile those videos is great! I really appreciate that it not only gives you the ingredients and instructions, but allows you to change the serving size and adjusts the measurements automatically for you. Only issue with that is that you get some crazy conversions like 543.7 grams of something. I’ve also run into the issue that an ingredient wasn’t included on the ingredients list, and I didn’t know it was needed until I was half way through cooking and it came up in the instructions. (Yes I know I should read the whole recipe first - I don’t. Sue me. Actually don’t, but do please make that fix.) Another thing I think would be nice is to have a link back to wherever you originally pulled the recipe from. For example, most of mine come from TikTok videos. It would be nice to be able to get directly back to that video without having to search for it on the platform. Overall, I really like this app and know this will be really beneficial to me.
Used to be good
At first this was excellent. Worked well. Recently it’s hopeless. Every time I try to import a recipe from the web or social media it just gives an error message.
Okay
I like it when it actually works. But majority of my recipes are on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok and 99% of the time I try importing into the app it says there’s an error and to take screenshots. Then when I do take screenshots, it ends up double typing the ingredients or instructions and I still have to go through and hand edit it. I feel like it defeats the whole purpose. I’m better off just sifting through all my recipes rather than trying to upload them into this app. Will be cancelling before my trial is up.

Very user friendly!
Does not import correctly no help desk
I thought it was great but several issues. First, I cannot upload images without trying at least twice. I click on the image and hit the checkmark and it does not upload. I have to repeat the process every single time. You can only upload 3 images per recipe so you’re screwed if it’s more than that. The app also will not upload from the internet. It just tells me to take photos and upload that way. There is no help desk, just articles to help troubleshoot so you can’t even report issues or get help.
Double check
Enjoying the app however double check the ingredient list and instructions. Noticed today that it left out ingredients during the transfers. Like butter. Just double check.

Your advertisements are misleading because free does NOT equal to paying a subscription. Stop lying.
Great app
I love having all of my recipes in one place. And being able to group them by cuisine, etc is very handy. I used to save recipes I liked to Facebook but I rarely went back to them. This is a much better way. Improvement suggestions: - add a “favourites” section - have a “recently added” section - add a “Notes” section for each recipe as these are not being pulled in automatically
Annoying
Great concept BUT practically every recipe that was saved missed off half the ingredients list OR half of the method. If the recipe has sections such as a sauce, it’ll only focus on one element of the recipe as it can’t pick up different elements. For example braised ribs with mash, it only gave me the mash ingredients and the method only contained how to braise the ribs (pointless). When you trouble shoot, it says you can screenshot and upload. Unfortunately it was nearly every recipe I tried. I was better off directly sending the recipe to my messenger to myself
Beware the 7 day trial
I’m enjoying the app but I signed up for a 7 day free trial with the understanding that I’d be reminded before the trial ended so I could cancel - I never got any reminders from the app, and the App Store has a caveat that you need to cancel at least one day before. So now I’m stuck with a year long subscription I paid $42.64 for today But it does a pretty good job pulling recipes from social media videos and even photos of cookbooks, though editing is unnecessarily difficult with how it works to select and highlight sections of text (it doesn’t work, you sort of just have to go a word at a time) if there are errors.

PLEASE ADD OFFLINE ACCESS
I genuinely love this app and think it’s one of the best out there. But PLEASE make it so you can use it offline! I have saved hundreds of recipes but I work in remote areas, so they aren’t always readily available. This would make a great app turn into an essential! Just to be able to use the recipes you have already saved offline.
Not working
I had been very good experience with this app I paid for a yearly membership and had many recipes. Along came the update and I lost them all. I have emailed for help 4 times with no response. Do not expect customer service even if you are a paying customer.
False advertising
I found out about this app from an advertisement on Tik Tok. Claims the app is free and no credit card needed. That is not entirely true. Yes, there is a free version. BUT that free version only allows five uploads a week, making it useless. So if you are wanting to save more than five recipes a week, then the app is not free.
Wish down loaded sooner!
Knew about this a year ago finally down loaded, only been using for a few days but I save recipes all over (Pinterest Instagram, TikTok, and even some websites) I do some fresh milk, baking, and have always had to go to the website for some of the recipes that I like and it made it so convenient to be able to just upload into this app total time saver don’t have to jump to the bottom of the recipe like you do on the Pinterest website so easy to use.
Don’t waste your money
I’ve had at least 15 recipes that when you try to save them, it doesn’t save the recipe. I’m trying to figure out how to cancel it.
Brilliant for making cookbooks
It’s great so far, you can load all your recipe ideas into one place and make a shopping list whilst you’re at it. A couple things I would love to see. Automatic deduction of items you have in your pantry and more importantly, I would love a button to make me a random meal plan that I can edit. I hate choosing meals each week and would love for something to just choose for me! Thanks
Cool idea but pay limiting
I was excited to try this app, but after realizing that without paying, you could only utilize three recipes, and that the cost is personally too expensive for me? I give it a two star.
Nutrition calculator won’t work
Great way to keep recipes I find online but please fix the nutrition calculator!! It is never correct and often way, way off.
Game Changer
My son has taken his health back and this app helped him do it. He showed me the app and I did the trial and loved it so much I kept it and I can tell you it has changed my life for the better. I find a recipe that I like I save it to this app and I use the shopping list to go buy the groceries and once I get home I click on the app and it takes me to the video where I got the recipe from. My husband has been loving the new recipes as I try to make a new one every few days. I thought I lost the recipes that I saved but it turned out I had the wrong email when I got a new phone. So, it does save all you recipes and the order you saved them in. If you like to change up your cooking and keep your recipes in one place this is the app for you.
Not worth the $40
This is an expensive app for what you get. The app is not well designed at all. In cook mode, it leaves out the measurements so you have to go back to the ingredients list to figure out how much of the ingredient needs to be used. Very irritating when you are the midst of a cook. Most importantly, it does not allow downloads of your recipes. So essentially you are locked in for life and if you don’t pay the $40 you lose them all!!! Can’t wait to end my subscription.

I love the app
I love this app. Especially that it can calculate the nutritional aspect of a recipe. The only thing I wish that they would calculate in the nutritional value of a recipe is also how much fiber is also in the recipe
Old fashion ‘nag-ware’
Trying to test drive the app, but you CANNOT open the program without signing up and agreeing to the weekly fee which I think is $5 /week it is not clearly listed. After trying to open and set up for 15 minutes, I deleted the app. Bye, Bye!
Generally great, lacks a few features to get a five from me.
App works well, so far no issues using it, BUT to get a five star from me app should have a light and dark mode, I nearly blinded myself on my iPad trying to check a recipe in my somewhat dark kitchen, I jest but on an iPad it’s definitely a white light beacon. So while there’s no dark mode, no five star from me. Otherwise it does what it says and doesn’t overly bother you to go premium.
Classic bate & switch
Targets you through social media either through ads or influencers without giving you the full picture until you spend your time downloading the app and going through the tutorial just to tell you that you have to pay for a premium version of the app to save & consolidate recipes. You’re better off saving in a folder on your social media profiles! I humored the process and signed up for the 7-day free trial and was still told I reached the maximum level of saves after uploading 3 recipes. Waste of time.
Editing
Don’t seem to be able to save edits for ingredients properly.. you can edit but it doesn’t save. Apart from that terrific.
Love this App
Love the ease of converting recipes from social media platforms to one concise location. Love the link to the platform to watch the original clips.
Talk to someone
I bought the app and loved it BUT it keeps saying “um something went wrong “ and won’t let me add recipes and I’m trying to reach someone and can’t . I look at my account information and it says I don’t have one . I paid for year in advance . Very frustrating.
Metric version
Your metric system doesn’t work. Flour is weighed in millilitres when it’s supposed to be in grams and tablespoons are supposed to be grams. Is it something you’re planning to rectifying?
Frustrated
Frustrated that there is no cost listed anywhere unless I do the 7 day trial. I don't want the trial unless I know how much it's going to cost me!

I do love this app..but after using it for a week there are some small improvements that would make this really good. For one…a rating system. Being able to give your recipe Stars so know which recipes are really good. Two, being able to note that you’ve made this recipe before. Just my initial comments….more to come

They promote the app as free and once you get it is only free for 7 days then you have to pay
Free Trial Lies
This app would be great but the free trial description is a lie. It says while you have the free trial for the pro version you get unlimited recipe uploads but it still limits you at 5 per day as if you don’t have the free trial. What’s the point of the free trials then.. Pretty disappointing

The nutrition information is so far off from the actual numbers, it is a useless tool if you are counting macros.
Great app but..
Love this app and easy to use. My only issue is that it is not calculating nutritional facts properly and for someone who is on a calorie deficit with protein and carbs goals, it is very important to have accurate data. It is telling me that a whole recipe with a serving of 266 grams of chicken thigh (1 serving) only has 25 grams of protein and 150 calories.. there is a long list of ingredients on top of the chicken as well. If this would be fixed it would be a true 5 star app.

Concept is great but once you have downloaded under 10 recipes you have to pay an expensive subscription to add any more recipes. It’s deceptive.
Nothing is ever free but
This is ridiculous, I can’t even create an account without trying the premium version for 7 days. I’m Canadian so I imagine the cost will be more than what’s listed. Very frustrating but I think it could be cool app!
