Coo
It’s helping me understand my body better when I’m on my cycle & the different changes I go through
Been waiting and waiting to take the test
App doesn’t have a setting for perimenopause. You either get or don’t get your period. If you get them sporadically then the algorithm doesn’t know what to do
My favorite tracker
Like the title suggests this is probably my favorite period tracker ever. This application is very sleek and offers a lot even when free. My favorite of these features would be the discussion because I feel like discussions among us girls is SO important. The only thing is I wish there was a one time purchase for the locked features 😢.
Bleed log is not available
Even after contacting about not being able to log how much I bleed and them notifying me that I should be able to, there has been no help in fixing the problem.
Good but could be much better
Great tracking and informative app but completely leaves out endometriosis and PMDD which are clearly associated with the menstrual cycle. Could be so much better if these were included.
Absolutely love this app
The app is very personal and doesn’t just track your period. There’s real time support in app and a lot of information on hand about hormones, diet, menopause, menstrual cycle and a lot more. It has a lot of free resources and information. Spot on. You can also adjust it if you have things like hypothyroidism. The premium is very worth it if you can afford it. And they also have a hormone tester you can purchase and track it in the app. I always forgot about my other apps and never clocked my period. This one has reminders that aren’t pesty and annoying. My favorite feature is that my boyfriend can also see my tracking without downloading the app. I didn’t even name all of its features. I highly recommend checking it out. Thank you to the devs and the team for this resource. Woman’s health is really important and isn’t taken seriously enough.
Flaw app
The app so far has not been very user-friendly every time I’ve complete my profile it automatically deletes sections, leaving my profile not 100% completed so I have to go back redo each one and save each time. And it is still not 100% completed. I got the hormone testing strips in the mail when I scan the QR code that was in the box, it takes me to their website for the pills to buy there is no user-friendly way to find where you’re supposed to put your testing strips in the app. I have not been able to find them so I don’t know how I’m supposed to take these strips and put them in the app. There is a QR code on the sticks and when I scan them that just takes me to the website and not the app how can this be fixed? What am I doing wrong this is getting very very annoying.
Hormona
I love this app it’s very accurate for me even tho my period is not regular I love the insights for what to expect and the app itself is laid out very easy and pretty I only wish I didn’t have to pay for premium cause it’s definitely more helpful with premium but as a girl with endometriosis and PCOS I’m broke and can’t afford it
Little disappointed
It won’t let me log my period because it’s says “Quick questions to personalize your experience” and then just loads the page forever. So i’m not able to change my cycle if it goes out of timeline. A year ago it was fine but then it started acting up
A Promising Option
This is my first time using a period tracking app and I do like it, I just wish I didn’t have to pay for anything provided in the app.
Nice to Know
I’m turning 39 this year and have never used an app of this design before. I like how clean the interface is and how the language feels when I read it. I can correct my own behavior and thoughts around my cycle for a better overall feeling.
Never accessed the app
Could never login, every time I tried it just stalled and I logged in over and over through Apple and nothing ever happened. Then when I tried using a different method it wouldn’t let me because it said I already signed up.
Raving about this app
Only it four stars because the other app was able to track my hormones and get updates while I was pregnant as well. This one does not have any options that I can see to keep me up-to-date that way. But for the fact that I’ve only been pregnant twice and been learning about my cycle and cycle sinking for the last five years this app has been the most. Helpful in the fact that it gives me a good visual graph of where my hormones are at, physical updates and nutritional advice (and recipes), according to where I’m predicted to be at in my cycle. Worth every penny.
Could just use Apple Health instead
This app is absolutely useless as you can use Apple Health instead which basically has the same function. Has a lot of things like recommending you to buy supplements which is another corporate lie in itself, and the monthly fees are overpriced. Just don’t waste your money on this and go to your doctors instead for actual professional advice
Wish there was a widget
I think this app is brilliant in concept but I wish there was a widget option for easier access for tracking. Also the symptom chart is hard to read. For how much you pay, these things should be seamless.
Much needed!
I love the amount of information I receive through this app. It has been more helpful on my journey of cycle syncing.
App Is Not Free?
I was really looking forward to trying out this app as it seemed fitting for me, however after I completed my sign up process and everything, it's asking me to subscribe to a yearly or monthly payment plan which I don't wish to proceed with. There's no way to close out of that page. I also closed the app and then opened it again, but it's still not letting me past that page. Dissappointed.
Hormona
I really am enjoying this app. It’s got good insights. Helps with tracking a lot of symptoms. It’s educational even for my husband who decided he wanted email updates on my upcoming phase/symptoms. I love that it gives star foods to help support my hormones. My only complaint is that I wish there were more recipe options. And I wish there was a section where I could put in my food preferences. And a meal planning section. Where I choose meals to make and put it inside an organized tab. More support for recipes, meal planning, and food preferences. Otherwise this app is great! Enjoying the features out does offer ☺️
Have to subscribe?
If there’s still a free version of Hormona out there, I couldn’t find it. Tried just to create an account and it won’t even let you look at the app without choosing and paying for a subscription.
Used it to get pregnant but can’t log it
I like a lot about this app. I followed the nutrition suggestions guidelines for each phase of my cycle and it helped me get pregnant!! What is silly is I can’t log I’m pregnant so it’s just sitting there waiting for me to log a period. A man definitely created this app. lol😜
Best thing ever!!!!
This app is definitely the best one I’ve ever used and has awesome features that make me feel comfortable about, well, everything. I really like the log and the community tab section. When I logged in first I happened to be under 13 so they had to kick me out but they still answered all my question and made everything nice and clear for me why. It’s cool and the daily update thingy is pretty accurate a majority of the time too! This was literally so coooool! And again, the community thing is really awesome. I’m not one for talking about my period or what not but I actually feel really comfortable asking questions about everything there. Love this app so much totally recommend~~~ 💝😊😊 I hear a lotta people talking about the subscription but really, that’s how you know it legit. Anything that’s completely free and good is probably selling all your info on the black market. After a while and you memorize your data and hormones you prob don’t need it, but it’s worth the extra dollar until then.
Disappointed
I signed up for the app’s free trial to test its features, but decided it wasn’t the right fit for me. I tried to cancel during the trial period, butI was still charged for a full year’s subscription.
I love this app!
This app is super helpful, unfortunately a lot of features are paid but it’s a really great app. I do wish though that there was a function that could account for coming off or going on contraceptives, and the irregularity that can come with that.
Not free
You have to pay for everything. The only free this is the discussion with other people.
I thought I'd finally found the perfect app after hours of searching
All of the breathwork, meals, sharing cycle with a partner, all of that being behind a pay wall I was fine with and understand. But my analytics?? That's unacceptable! Please fix that immediately. I'm so upset. I should have known this app was too good to be true. The most important part of cycle tracking and it's behind a paywall...
Love it!!
This app is the best!!!! Ever ❤️☯️ helped improve and give me so many insights on my hormonal health
Celibate women? Queer women? Infertile women? Childfree women?
I downloaded this app because i have irregular cycles & wanted to document for my dr, but nothing is becoming more annoying than this app telling me I'm pregnant every month. You’re a cycle app for women and you have no other insight to give about a late period then telling them they’re probably pregnant? Of all the information, you have nothing else to offer? After 6 months, I’ve decided to delete. If you just want to document your cycle, apple health is enough.
I love this app
This is one of the best apps for period tracking and balancing your hormones. They have recipes for different phases. The only thing missing is diet preferences. Not everyone eats meat. I feel they should ask diet preference and give recipes according to that.
Missing key tracking options
I’m really surprised that this app doesn’t have basal body temperature or cervical mucous tracking options. These are key in knowing where your hormones are at, and they are doing their customers a disservice. Maybe this app is more fit for people with regular cycles, but they are not a useful app for people with irregular cycles due to lacking those concrete markers of hormonal changes.
I like it but
I’m not sure if it’s better than other period apps like Stardust which, I’ll add, are a fraction of the cost. ($4 vs $17 per month). I do love that it gives recipes and star foods, although I feel like it suggests foods for the same exact same reasons over and over. It also doesn’t include a lot of foods that I normally see suggested during certain cycles , almost like it has a bias toward certain food that are more market to be “healthy”.there’s also a glitch where I can’t scroll to the bottom of the star foods page - overall I’m just not convinced it’s worth that exorbitant amount
Thanks
Not perfect, but def helpful. Everyone’s body is different. I have PCOS so my cycles are wonky sometimes. This is a nice tool. 10/10 recommend.
Can’t change period time
I’m usually have a normal cycle but I occasionally I miss my birth control and get a suprise period. I tried to change my cycle in the app but couldn’t find a way to do that. Not sure if that’s an option. It’s crazy it’s so hard to do. I emailed for help and never got an answer.
Love it so far ( just downloaded)
I just wish this app was entirely free. Womens health apps should be free 🥲
Excited based on ad, disappointed by content
I’ve been using a similar app for 7 years called clue. Many of their features are free, but I pay extra for their subscription which is incredibly cheap. Harmona feels overpriced for what it offers to charge $25 a month..
Hope they improve this
I’ve been using this app now for about a year now. It was good and then recently they did an update. I went back to check my calendar and at the moment (July 31,2024) the month of June is missing so I think there is a glitch as July is reflecting twice for me and then just goes back to May 2024. Also, I find the look of the new calendar to be messy especially once you record your period and if notes are added to that day reflecting as a dot. The current calendar looks too busy. I am starting to wonder the accuracy of this app and its capability of tracking your cycle accurately. Also perhaps including more content on the Daily Insights section that relate to my cycle versus the same generic things. Hopefully you can improve it quickly otherwise I may switch back to Flo for good which has a longer history of users.
Life Changing
Hormona has helped me understand all the changes my body goes through in one month - hormones at work in my body and how they can impact my day. It’s incredibly validating to know. Then to know I’m not alone on days that I feel drained and low, it’s normal considering the hormones at work. The app gives suggestions that help with how to exercise (sometimes our female bodies need less intense work outs or it can raise the cortisol in our body). It’s helped me with nutrition - what certain hormones need via organic raw food options, recipes, and vitamins to stay balanced and how to cleanse the body of old hormones so they don’t get stored in the body. I’ve noticed less discomfort in my body during ovulation and PMS - less pain and inflammation. Some symptoms that I had I’ve not experienced since using this app and following through with their advice. I really love this app, there’s an option to share phases your body is going through with your partner or whomever you might live in closest proximity with. This has been so helpful so I can show my spouse and kids what’s happening in my body. “it’s not you it’s me” look I can proof it with my app. 😆 thank you! The app functions well and works with ease.
annoyed
app is so annoying. first i couldn’t get in my account. my phone number wasn’t receiving text messages. then every time i open the app everything is buffering and now i can’t even open anything because you have to pay. not worth it.
Great app
This is great so far! I haven’t tracked a full cycle yet, but I’m looking forward to seeing how much more personalized the app will become. Would love if there were more recipes to browse. And when tracking symptoms, the app covers almost everything. Only thing I wish I could track is my hunger level. I get ravenous during certain times in my cycle - not just cravings. Actual hunger.
Bra men alla funktioner funkar inte
Appen är bra men utskicken till min kille har aldrig funkat. Ingen återkoppling från kundservice när jag behövt nå dem.
$$$
Should be cheaper..
As a PCOs Girly
This is one of the best apps I’ve tried to track my hormones. I love it! It could use more recipes and sometimes I don’t see the line of where my hormones are at but over all this app has huge potential!
Not transparent about not being free
This app seems free from the App Store with maybe an in-app upgrade option but they don’t tell you that AFTER you give them your phone number and email to make an account there is no free version of the app- you have to pay monthly.
Please update the meal plan recommendations to be filtered by diet
I don't want to see salmon or mackerel as recipe recommendations since I'm vegan and this doesn't help me. Thanks!
Subscription Required
To truly use this as a cycle tracking app a subscription is required. Without the bare minimum is reveled. The app is beautiful and easy to use but was disappointed that within the first 5 minutes I discovered I had to pay a high subscription fee to get simple features that other apps provide for free.
Great app!
Hormona's symptom predictions are always on spot! It's so helpful to know when should I expect mood swings etc. but most of all it’s so great to get little insights every day on what’s going on in my body
Really?
I’ve been using this app for over a year and suddenly you have to pay for the most basic version? And it’s not a one time fee, it’s a monthly subscription. Now I can’t even get in to view my last years worth of cycle tracking to transfer if somewhere else. How frustrating. I could understand paying for premium features but I don’t even want that. I just want a simple way to track my cycle. Thought this app might be the one, boy was I wrong!
Awesome cycle tracker app
I’ve been wanting an app like this and I’m glad this app is now available to everyone. Just still a couple of bugs. When I log in my period days it logs a day off but on the calendar it shows up right but the list of days is off under the calendar. Sorry to repeat myself, hope that makes sense. Also when you go to the the symptom log near the bottom the choices start to over lap so you can click on all that you want, maybe I chose to many to be available but that shouldn’t be an issue. Just want to let the developer know. Will come back to fix my rating when those are hopefully fixed. Thank you.
Hormonspiral
Märkte att man kunde välja alla preventivmedel förutom hormonspiral. Vilket är just det jag har. Hoppas det är något som dom uppdaterar! Appen verkar vara bra förövrigt. :)
Great Start!
Hormona has all the components that I’ve been looking for, however a larger food/menu list would be beneficial (same options for the phase) and tracking specific types of exercise would be helpful (ie. weight training, yoga, etc)
