Review & Improvements
I love the apps design. It’s really helpful about what to do for each phase and goes into a nice amount of detail to help you manage things in each phase. I love using this app over others!! One thing I would like to see is sharing it with my partner somehow
Horrific data management
I’ve used myFlo for years to track my cycle, and after the latest update, all of my data is gone. Years of tracking — gone with no warning. I’ve contacted support and gotten no response. This app stores data locally instead of syncing to an account, so when something breaks, users just lose everything. If you’re relying on this app for real health tracking, know that your data isn’t actually safe. I feel robbed of years of information I can’t get back, and I wouldn’t recommend this app until they fix how data is stored.
Please add notifications
This app has been really helpful, but I’d love it if it had push notifications to let me know when I can expect the next phase.
Losing data
I've been using the MyFlo app for almost 2 years and really enjoyed it, but as of lately, my last two cycles data just disappeared leaving me confused and frustrated. Upon looking, there's a bunch of my data missing. I'm in perimenopause so cycle syncing is important. I'm now in search of a more reliable app.
Disappointed in AI Use
I love this app, I love this book, i love all that Alisa Vitti puts out there for us women! But the AI use in the premium version was extremely disappointing. Not only was it obvious and bad, but I would prefer to support an app that isn’t perpetuating the replacement of the workforce with AI. I discontinued my premium membership for this reason.
Devastated
I read Alisa Vitti’s books and was so ecstatic to find out there’s an app that helps provide women with day to day information to stay “in the Flo”…. However I am devastated that it costs $280/year. This is an expense I simply cannot afford even though this is very important to me. I will continue using the Lively app which is $30/year even though the information is no where near in depth, at least it helps me track my cycle and gives suggestions for whole foods and exercises/ tasks to fit each phase. I understand needing to monetize and make a living but after reading her books I feel like I know her personally and I don’t understand why she would gatekeep such valuable information from women everywhere, even those who cannot afford the knowledge.
Useless App
There’s nothing in this app that AI models can’t do today. You can’t change your logs nor can know your ovulation accurately. Food options are absurd with ai pictures. it’s a total waste of money. Please do yourself a favour and don’t waste your money
wont open
hi! I love this app and all the helpful suggestions it gives. I have been using it for almost a year now and it’s great! only, for some reason over the past few days the app is not opening for me and I can’t get on it. :( please fix?
Missing the simplicity
I no longer like this app. It’s complicated and frustrating. I miss the simplicity before it updated. Looking elsewhere.

Love this app
I’ve been using this app for years and the new design and update is great. Most of the subpar reviews are from before the recent redesign. I love being able to track my period, know exactly what phase I’m in, and the recommendations for work, food, energy, etc are life changing. It functions really well too.
Doesn’t live up to the method
I loved reading both Woman Code & In The Flo & the principles behind this app have changed my life & healed me. However the app does not do the program justice. I honestly prefer the old website version where at least we would get new recipes monthly. The recipe section is underwhelming & feels like it has not been updated since the very beginning. Also, the photos are clearly AI generated & the recipes frequently mismatch the ingredients to the directions. I am begging for an update to this app that feels worth the 30 dollars per month.
Help
Loved this app until I had a baby. I came back to it and now the dang algorithm can’t figure out my period. I’ve cycled 4 times and it still says I’m having 3 month cycles because it’s averaging my last years of no period. Let’s get it together. Now it seems they have a pause button, but I can’t go back 2 years and pause. Anyway, i paid for another app (Lively) just so i could know when my period will come. I hate that I had to do that bc I love Alisa’s work.
lost all my info MULTIPLE times
i used to love this app, but sadly had to delete. i had been using this app for years to track my patterns to try to figure out some irregularities i’ve been having. unfortunately with the updates i was told that my information was permanently lost. apparently they sent an email telling people to switch over to the new app, however i don’t read my emails. why wouldn’t they just let people know in the app? anyways this wasn’t the first time my information was lost, but it feels like the last straw to me. i can’t trust this app anymore and i no longer have a way reference to the progression of my symptoms over time i have made them aware of this issue, so hopefully they’ve taken measures to prevent this from happening again and if you’re only using this app for monthly tracking, and it’s not important if you may loose your information once in a blue moon, this app is probably great for you. if it wasn’t for this situation, i would have otherwise given the app 5 stars.
Not working with most recent phone update

I love how it gives you phase specific meals that are simple! I’m tired of recipes having so many ingredients that are never in my house and cost so much to get them, but the recipes in here are simple and easy and affordable to cook. I also love how it has phase specific workouts too! This was what made me so excited and had to leave a review. To have a period tracker with recipes and workouts, it made the price worth it. I love this app
No changing of cycle
You cannot add in different menstrual times manually. This causes the tracking to be terrible for people who do not have a regular period. I don’t have a time between periods that’s set. It’s between 35 and 56 days with my menstrual staying for 7-12 days. There is not ability for change on this app
Could Improve
TLDR: add widgets, be a bit more intuitive for updating period dates, not horrible In a world where everyone wants to create the next best app or next best device, I think it’s pertinent. That change is always considered. An improvement is always pursued. Well I love the way this app incorporates all parts of the menstrual cycle which other apps failed to do, there are other apps that do consider the full cycle and have more adaptive predictions as well as more intuitive tools, and with this new release of widgets, I feel that those are super helpful, especially for something like a cycle.
I cannot access the app from time to time
Since the most recent update four days ago I cannot access the app or my info. It acts like I do not have an account and will only give me the option to sign up for a new account. It doesn’t even allow me to attempt to sign in with my info(it will grey out the option to sign in like normal. It only gives the option to sign up for the first time. When it’s working I do not sign in at all but just open the app) This exact thing happens every now and then for hours or days at a time. It’s not very reliable so I would not fully rely on keeping this info here for your record keeping and be sure to have an old school journal as back up.
glitchy
overall i like the interface and the app is really easy to use. what i dont like is the persistent push to buy the supplements. like, its always at the top and center of the screen when u open the app. it’s also glitchy. every time i go to “cycle syncing” page it reverts me back to the follicular phase. i have to leave the app and come back. sometimes it resets my entire tracking calendar and adds an extra period out of nowhere? i have to go and delete it. it’s strange
Like a fine wine this app gets better with age
So silly me I was logged out of the app and forgot I got the annual subscription Fast forward 6 months since I last logged in and I can surely see the difference The developers have done so much to add your cycle sync matched with food and exercise and even business planning Finding it helpful to use as a reference point when planning my week ahead Thanks from Australia! This app is much appreciated even down to making it normal to be kind to yourself if this months cycle needs a leave day from work.
Had to delete
My Flo is one of those apps I kept on my phone even if I used it really minimally. I recently tried the new update and it has become confusing to navigate and not super helpful anymore. Bummed by the direction they decided to take the app. Removing a star because after I left this review I got a notice that the app had revoked my sign-in privileges. Which is fine as I have already deleted it.
Why is there no discharge option for symptoms?
When I first had the app, there was a option to track discharge for the symptoms, but now it is no longer there. Very dissapointing.
App crashes
This is the second time that I’ve tried using the app (last time was a couple of years ago). The design is great and user friendly, but once in a while I’ll log in and all of my data is gone. Will not use again.
It’s ok
This app has always struggled a bit. I started using it two years ago, and have since gone through a pregnancy and currently in pp, trying to resync my cycle. Bummed and annoyed that now the cycle syncing feature is an added price, i’m very curious if there is more information than before or now they are just charging a whopping $30 a month for those same features. Besides that, the app has some weird bugs and overall isn’t that enjoyable to use. I’ll just use natural cycles going forward.
Signing up and website issues
I want to give this app 5 star’s genuinely because of the great reviews but … I’ve paid for this app and I’m not able to sign up via mobile or PC. Are there any issues/bug fixes happening?
Love/hate
I have used the non payed version of this app for years I like the layout over others but every time they update or every once in a while it delete all my logs and I half to start all over 😞
The app seems to be getting less adaptive to me
I’ve been using this app for a few years. The redesign looks beautiful but this past year, I have noticed my cycle predictions are grossly off and my phases in the calendar are shorter than they used to me. I know these are mere suggestions based on your data… but should my predictions not get better adjusted the longer I use the app? It doesn’t make sense that the app once had a week for my folecular phase and now just has a few days while my luteal phase (which is always longer than 2 weeks for me) is trended even longer by the shortening of my follicular and ovulatory phases. I have searched the app for answers regarding the change and I can’t find them. There is also a glitch in my notes section of my daily data where it only lets me type forward, if I want to go back and edit a word or change anything I didn’t just type, it sends my text line to the end of the text box, which means I have to reselect the section I want to type in after every single letter. Quite annoying tbh and makes me want to use the app less, the reason I insist on using is as much as I do now is because I pay for it, but I may be looking for a new tracker app if these things don’t get sussed out in the next update.
Glitching.. again
I’ve used this app for years… and from time to time it tends to crash.. more often than I’d like.. it’s always the same: delete and reinstall, then contact support and a few days later it’s back to normal… customer support has always been on point tho.
New app lost data
I just downloaded the “newer” app which seems really nice! I am sooo bummed none of my data from the previous app did not transfer over from my account at all. I had years worth of data I took and I’m pretty bummed having to start over. Not sure if I’m willing to retry here. Maybe there’s something I missed but seems like nothing transferred. 9/17 update I haven’t been able to really figure out this app. I haven’t figured out how to actually enter in when a cycle started, because the buttons that seem would be “cycle started” buttons lead me to input symptoms. I am enjoying how nice and new this app looks but it feels very hard to navigate. I am hoping I’m missing a navigation video or something bc now I’m just relying on the moon cycles and winging it.
Great
Just love it. I am glad for all your work and glad I found you. My health has improved I was able to conceive very quickly without any issues, I believed cycle sinking was the reason.
Always an issue
Riddled with bugs, it seems. Constantly logs me out. And even after years of use, it’s prediction of my cycle is off.
LOVE… but…
This is the greatest app i’ve found on the AppStore BUT… I’m a mom and I’m in the season of my life where I find myself getting pregnant every year or so, which keeps me from purchasing the upgrades in this app because I can’t also track my pregnancy— or pregnancy hormones through each trimester— through it. I’m forced to use other apps I don’t love as much. Please please PLEASE create a “track pregnancy” option so I don’t have to use other apps anymore!!!
What happened?
It’s all supplements ads and upgrade to the subscription model!! This app used to be helpful - I don’t remember what I paid initially, but thought it was reasonable for what it was. Now this app is all about the supplement ads and upgrading to get the information that used to be available when you purchased the app. Now you have to pay monthly for this info. So disappointing, because I really thought it was about providing helpful info to women at low/no cost.
Re-signed up but missing something
I was really hoping this app would have the ability to track my basal temperature. This would be a great addition if possible. I had the app a while back but it was too glitchy. Willing to try again. Wish it had all that I need and want;)
App not working
My app hasn’t been working for two weeks, data won’t load it just keeps circulating as if it’s refreshing. I’ve tried updating, re-downloading etc. Unsure where or how to fix. Please help, I love this app.

Love so much about this app, but don’t like the heteronormativity
I’ve been using this app for ages and only stopped recently when it was updated and seemed to lose my account. I’ve re-registered and put my details in again but was disappointed to see that even with all the updates it’s still not inclusive for LGBTQIA people. My partner’s female and there was nowhere to add that information so in the tips on the menstrual section it says to send my partner for a “guys night out” and if I have kids then it’s great for them to have a “day with dad” whilst I go to the spa. It would be awesome if there could be more fields to describe your identity and sexuality to ensure the app was inclusive.
Mediocre customer experience
I’ve used this app for about a month. The UX is confusing, and the app kept changing my inputs for my period days. I liked that it would predict my phases, but it overrode what I manually put in (3 times). Also, when I signed up, I went ahead and got what I thought was a 2mo subscription to give it time to see how I liked it, but turns out I bought 2 memberships… why would I want to buy 2 memberships when I can only use one? Why would you design it so you could buy multiple memberships and not multiple months?? When I reached out to customer service I was shamed about the fact that I was “the only person” who ever had this problem so I just have “misunderstood”. Excuse me? I only found this out because I wanted to cancel my membership (I don’t get $28/mo value). I thought I would have another month should I want to check anything again. The customer service coupled with the app and not so great UX and data—there are better apps out there that cost less.
Good concept
I love the idea of this app but it needs some adjustments. First, it’s difficult to use. Whenever I open the app, it tells me I’m on day 0 of my follicular phase, and then I have to click on the phase that I’m actually in. I had hoped that clicking on recipes that I want to use during each phase would generate a shopping list, but clicking on them/leaving a check mark doesn’t do anything except note that I want to use that recipe—pointless IMO. Maybe annotate it with a heart and shift that recipe up to the top as a priority meal? Second- I paid $28 for the monthly subscription but other than unlocking recipes, it doesn’t change the app. I am still bombarded with requests to buy $280 in supplements and to “start syncing my cycle” which when I click on leads me to the subscription page…. Third, the “fun facts” don’t mean anything to me as an average person. My fun fact today is “ Cruciferous veggies contain DIM which helps the body process & eliminate excess estrogen” What the heck is a cruciferous veggie and what is DMI?
Great app yet often crashes
I love the info provided and recommendations yet often have the problem of the app crashing on me. Happens very frequently
Literally couldn’t create an account
I quite literally never leave reviews but I tried about 7 different times to create an account via Apple, google and email. I tried resetting my password I tried deleting and uninstalling the app on numerous occasions but every single time the request either timed out or nothing would happen. Would love to actually be able to use but it seems it’s unusable right now
Love the app hate the new layout
I love this app and I have tried to love the new layout but it is more confusing and I have to physically count what day I’m on. I get that they trying to make money but I just see shop shop shop it’s annoying like little pop up adds 🤣🤣 I think in new upgrades keep the cycle colours cos now I have to refugee out what colour is what cycle cos that’s changed too. Like I said I’m trying and I’m not one to complain but it’s not as good as it was.
Stopped working
Great when it worked! Was spot on every month with my cycle phases but now everything is grossly off. It's showing some phases for only one day and others for weeks. Not sure what caused it but the app is unusable now. Very sad that I'll need to find a new tracking app
why can’t i see any real data?
I like Alissa Vitti which is why I paid for the app but I hate that I can’t see which day of my OVERALL cycle I’m on (it only says Luteal Day 2 of 12) which is not very helpful for planning. Also, I can’t see the average length of my cycle and period length, but even free apps allow this. Regret paying for this app. Not to mention they mention assessments but it’s really just a sales pitch for their supplements, which you can get everywhere.
Amazing app
So much rich information. I have so much about myself through app. It’s been life changing for me. There have been technical difficulties up I get replies from the tech staff with seconds. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it is working pretty well.

Good but not Great
Great app to learn about the different cycle phases and what they mean, especially if you’re keen to ‘cycle sync’ however the app has a tendency to just ‘stop working’ every so often and the only fix is to delete it and re-install.
Such great work deserves better UX
Hi, I am not getting much more from the paid version than what I was already getting in the free version. Meaning, I already implemented a lot from the book just with my calendar. I also had some UX glitches and customer service was lacking. I actually initially signed up because lf the partner function but that is nog lo ger available. I took a risk doing the yearly because I trust the work but the experience has been underwhelming.
Can’t log in?
I like the app, but it regularly tells me to log back in, but then doesn’t let me because it says I’m already logged in… there’s no way around this except for deleting and re-installing the app. It’s extremely annoying.
