Age
It is very stupid how you have to be 16 to be able to use the app, however it says it’s 12+ on the App Store. Women start their periods before 10 sometimes and still want to track it.

I accidentally subscribed to this app and can’t get my money back after trying to get a refund!
Ads Everywhere
Ads are plastered over every screen and if you pay for no ads they still advertise their absurdly priced products. Go with the app Flo instead.
Ok app and it’s predicted dates
The app always get my ballpark range for my period start date close. Occasionally my cycle changes and will be before or after the range the app predicts. What drives me nuts is I will log that start day that is outside the range the app predicts and the app will say “predicted” Umm not you didn’t. Otherwise the app is fine but I feel like it’s overboard with chat board info
Really awesome app
I was using this app to track my period for about 2 years and it worked ok but since getting pregnant and switching the app to the pregnancy feature it has become a treasure trove of mindblowing information. Daily updates on exactly what is happening inside have really helped me connect to this pregnancy and empower myself to understand the process better. I love this app!

I just downloaded this app for the first time in 10 years, and the amount of ads is absolutely ridiculous. When I used it years ago, I don’t remember seeing anything like this. Seriously…..what does Pokémon go have to do with my period? These ads are completely unrelated, and you advertise you’re “FDA approved”. No wonder the app feels more like an advertising platform than something useful. I’ll be uninstalling it. Definitely won’t be using this app again.

Used to love it
This app was SO HANDY and HELPFUL for years! I loved it! Recently forced an update on me and the new format is absolutely AWFUL. There’s waayyyy too many pop ups and cover ups trying to convince you to pay for upgrades. The purpose of the app for me (tracking symptoms and cycles) has become so difficult to even access and view that I don’t even want this anymore :( I see there’s another update so I’m going to do it. Can hardly get worse. If it’s not any better, I fear I will have to say my good byes after all this time :(
Ads are ridiculous
I’ve used this app for 5 years and in the beginning on my time using it - it was great. Did exactly what I needed which was tracking cycle and give me an idea of ovulation. It gave your fertility % of each day and was a useful tool. Now the ads are just insane. You can’t click anywhere without one popping up. And it doesn’t show half the info it used to. I understand you can pay for premium but once I hit an x once to close out an ad. I don’t want to do it literally every 3 seconds. It’s gotten very frustrating for a user just tracking the basics.
Helped me have my Rainbow Baby!
I personally love this app! I originally downloaded it March of 25’ because I thought the health app from Apple wasn’t tracking my periods right. I logged my last 4 periods in the app and the following month tried to conceive. I’d like to say it had my ovulation pretty accurate, as I got a positive pregnancy test April 20th! My due day was the day after my birthday, Dec 29th, and she arrived on New Year’s Day! I couldn’t be more happier with the result I got using this app :) Thank you to everyone at Glow! And if you’ve read this far, I’d also like to say that I used the free plan, which does come with some downsides like not being able to see insights on your cycles, but I personally didn’t find the need for it :) to see my pregnancy journey, check out my socials! Network error
For the last couple of weeks I keeping getting network error saying I do not have any internet when I do, the app will not let me do anything at all. I’ve closed it out and restarted my phone, still won’t work.
pretty good for tracking symptothermal
been using it to track bbt and cm for a year now and it’s great. would love the option to turn off temperature and fertile window predictions though (in line with traditional symptothermal tracking!)
Only using this because I have so much data here
I’ve been using this app for years now. I preferred it when it was geared more for period tracking. They’ve tried to build “community” type aspects to it that have zero interest in and it now seems much more blatantly focused on people who are trying to get pregnant. Now when I open the app it usually loads their “shop” or their social community rather than the place you log your symptoms. And there are so many pups now that it’s quite frustrating. Also, there’s something very weird about happening when I try to type in the “notes” section of the daily log. You cannot type fast at all because it’s like it doesn’t detect all the character you are typing? You have to type very slowly or else you will get string of typos. This has been going on for years and I don’t know what’s wrong. I would change to a different app except I have like ten years of data here. :( I just wish there was a simple period/symptom tracking app without the bells and whistles. This app used to be great.
Too many pop-ups
I’ve had this app for many years and have had a mostly positive experience with it. I like how easy it is to log pms symptoms and to track where I’m at in my cycle, but in the last year or two, the app has become insanely clogged with pop-ups and annoying features. I wish there was an option to only see the features you want to use. It’s especially frustrating that they shove fertility and pregnancy stuff in your face since that can be a sensitive subject for many women, so there should be an option to toggle that off. I’ll probably have to switch to another (paid) app soon just to escape the extremely crowded feeling of this app now. A shame really

I’ve had glow for almost 3000 days and it is very helpful to know when I shall expect Aunt Flo. However, the amount of pop-up’s this app has flying is UNREAL!!

I have used this app for over 10 years. I used it to plan my pregnancies and it is very easy to use. BUT I am so disappointed in how they just want your $ now. Every time I log on, I get asked to sign up for a membership. The membership is NOT worth it. The store is like TikTok shop. It’s ridiculous! It’s an ovulation app, seriously, stop with the spam!!
Can’t input BBT?
Ive finally gotten used to the interface of this app, though it can be overwhelming at first. And it’s been very helpful to track my periods and fertility signs. But I’ve got an irregular cycle and I want to get pregnant—so logging BBT would be very helpful. But as far as I can tell, I cannot input BBT manually, only sync a Glow thermometer. Nowhere I tap brings up an option for input, and I cannot find a solution online. I am unable to purchase a Glow thermometer where I live, and honestly it seems like a pretty slimy sales strategy to make it impossible to log BBT on an app that claims it’s trying to help women with pregnancy. So I’m hoping I’m just mistaken and that someone can tell me what to do.

This app is supposed to be as simple as possible, just pop in, Add a date and get out, what's with the constant pop ups, gifts, extras and sections, we literally just need a freaking calendar logs nothing else

I paid for premium for this app, because this used to be good. Now I’m stuck with it because of years of usage and because I paid for it. But only for so long I can put up with this. I will manually transfer my data and quit this app if it keeps as it is the way now.

I’ve been apart of glow for YEARS! And. I love it! It’s always made me feel comfortable and confident about my cycle and needs. I just got married so I’ll be moving into getting pregnant and I’m still ready for glow to be apart of our timelines
Disappointed
I’m so disappointed in the decision to force Eve users to use glow by merging them. I used them both, for very different reasons. I didn’t want TTC content shoved in my face all the time. I have a premium membership and my choice has been taken away. The interface for glow doesn’t work correctly on my tablet, so I can’t even see all the input options properly. Bring back Eve. I’ll have to delete the glow app and all my data entirely if not, because I just can’t stand it during certain parts of my cycle. I need Eve.
Useful but demoralising language if TTC a while
Useful to help track the cycle, generally not bad at predicting ovulation vs what I’ve found with physical signs and ovulation kits. Has a helpful OPK strip scanner which gives you a second pair of “eyes” to tell if your line is dark enough. Pro was good while I was learning my cycle symptoms but after a year it didn’t give me anything I didn’t already know so I switched back to basic. However, some of the language the app uses really starts to grate when you’ve been TTC for a while, clearly having issues, and not only do you then see the same messages more, but things like “time is ticking, make the most of every cycle” can be pretty triggering. What was even more triggering was logging in after the latest update it seemed to think I’d entered a pregnancy when I hadn’t, then I had to click through to end a pregnancy and those few screens weren’t nice to read either, would hate to do that with an actual miscarriage. Just think some of the language could be more appreciative that this is people real lives rather than just a marketing scheme to sell the app & pro version (which is thrown down your neck every day)

This was a great app until a it became an advertisement; always seeking to gain money with subscriptions. And I cannot view old logs unless I pay for a subscription which was never an issue until recently.

I have been using the free version. It helps me track my fertility and provides some fertility information based on different medical sources.
Too messy
I don’t like that I get bombarded by ads when I have premium. Also, the main page is too messy. I wish I could customise my fyp and only have the things I’m interested in. Things like the “scoop of the day” could be on another tab. At least it’s separate. I’m not really social on the app, I’m more interested in data and it’s just distracting seeing those social posts. If possible, would like to customise my page and only have things related to my data.

NOT SAFE FOR KIDS
The functionality for period tracking is amazing and I was really looking forward to cycle education with my girls, but there is an EXTENSIVE and highly sexually graphic forum section, that is specifically for “sex stories” “masturb@t!on stories”, etc. it’s literally smut. Further, there are several posts on there with requests to chat and meet up. PREDATOR CENTRAL. Why in the world would a period tracking app need to host sexually explicit forums? It’s nuts. I’m so disappointed. Please beware.

Good but overengineered
This app is so over engineered, there is so much going on functionally and visually. I use it because I have done for the last few years but you get bombarded every time you open the app, which gives me negative sentiment towards it.
