Basically, most of these loan apps survive by charging excessive processing fees, late payment penalties, bounce charges, and other hidden fees. They also rely on auto-debit and expect borrowers to keep enough money in their bank accounts exactly before the salary date to pay additional charges. I don’t understand how the RBI allows so many loan apps to operate while charging customers such high fees.
