I love this app! I purchased a newer model of the I watch to keep up and measure my heart rate among other heart measurements. This app has shown me and measured the regular functionality of how my body and heart are working and functioning together regularly. I have a heart murmur and afib runs in my family. I am relieved to find something that truly works and measures everything accurately for me to keep up with. I have difficulty sleeping as well so all these measurements together are very insightful and useful! THANK YOU HEARTIFY!
Horrible, stressful app
There’s so much going on with this app and it’s gonna tell you you’re stressed all the time. No matter what I was doing or what time of day, the app told me I was stressed and needed rest. I took my measurement when I just woke up, it came back 82% stressed. I need rest. Tool measurement when I was laying outside in my hammock, reading a book on a beautiful day, feeling so relaxed yet the app told me I was 79% stressed and needed a rest. This freaking app makes you stressed.!

It’s a good app! It works as far as I know, but I was taking the heart risk quiz and it asked me for me blood pressure and it said something along the lines of “your blood pressure should be above this quiz,” and when I went to check it so I could check my risk of heart disease, it was locked behind a paywall. I understand that it takes a lot of work to develop things like this, but if your going to say that the info for something is on the app and then have it locked behind a paywall, maybe just don’t mention it at all, because it feels like you’re hard advertising the premium and I already see enough advertising for it. It’s good otherwise though.
Annoying
Wanted to use it, but the vibration haptic feedback was stressful and the additional insights of the healthiness standard deviation of the heart rate sounded like pseudoscience.

Interesting evaluation
Works but is not reliable at all!
Initially, I was convinced that this app was working well for the most part. But after paying the premium but not getting features I wanted to figure out why I could no longer access my premium benefits, which were available only for the first day. I started testing out things to try and resolve it and what I learned is this: I have a red iPhone wallet case that flips open. So, once when opening the app the case was flipped open covering the lens. The circle appeared red as it does when holding your finger over it. I didn’t think it would actually work, but then it started pulsing like it had a heartbeat. Then, it started advancing the percentage to give me a readiness rating. So, I did it again. And the same thing happened. The readiness was very low the first two time. The next few times I tapped on the screen to mimic a pulse rate and the readiness improved dramatically. Either Siri’s actually alive or this app is broken. Test it out yourself and see. Lay it on a flat (red) surface, it only works if it’s red. The info on the app was pretty good which is why I gave it 2 stars, but anyone can google that info for free. IMO it’s not worth the money or headache, especially when you could just spend the money on an Apple/smart watch that actually does work. but has future potential if they can correct those discrepancies...maybe. But until they can improve it to where it actually works I think this should be 100% free. I have cancelled my premium but still can’t access the features with the remaining time left. This was a ripoff.

I’ve found the Heartify app to be very helpful for gathering key cardiac data. The sleep reports have provided erroneous data. Would be at least 4 stars if sleep data was correct or eliminated

If you don’t pay, the app is now almost useless. How greedy can you be? Now you have to pay 6.99 per month if you want to use the basic measurement feature. We give you all our data for free and now you want us to pay you to give you all our heart and movement data? Greed at its finest. I deinstalled the app. Companies like that deserve to go broke.

I paid for a week of premium and it’s still asking me to pay on the same account but then says error. So not only am I down 7 bucks I don’t have what I purchased for health. Beware.
DVT
I have DVT and just had a recent blood clot I’m also under a lot of stress being off work etc and the results reflected that pretty accurately I’d say. Stress levels high but a below average heart beat. It would be interesting to know how this works just by putting you’re finger on a camera lens.
Confusing and unlikely results
I am a very fit 48 y/o, competitive triathlete. I love looking at physiological data that apps like these provide and I am in tune with my body, so i tend to know when the data does not confirm or support my actual condition on any given day. This app does some things well (heart rate & hrv) but if I didn’t know better, the interpretation of the data provided by the app would turn me into one of the so called “worried well” that doctors refer to when patients present with bad data and but are in good health. My heart rate is low and while it meets the technical definition of bradycardia (under 60 bpm) it’s not because I have an arrhythmia / bradycardia. It’s because my heart is efficient and trained. I suggest the app should aim to take account of the users current level of aerobic training before providing generic feedback. Furthermore the metrics & feedback on energy levels and stress are so inconsistent (I completed multiple tests at the same times) as to render them meaningless and were often completely at odds with what body was telling me. Have a play around if you’re curious but don’t be alarmed if you find the app telling you to see a doctor immediately or to remove every ounce of stress from your life.

I put a red cup on my camera It took a few seconds and then It started measuring a heart rate tree even tho it was a cup. I think this app should be deleted cause some people might have gone to the hospital thinking they have problem but waisted time because of this app!

I use the free version and like that I can keep an eye on my heart health. Disappointed though the premium is so expensive , I would pay 5.99 a month but cannot afford this price every week.

Doesn’t Work
I was with my doctor testing this app out along side an Oximeter. Takes about a minute of holding your finger to the camera to get a final reading, while the oximeter is instantaneous. I held my finger there while I watched the oximeter. After it was done taking my reading it said my BPM was 86. The oximeter had my BPM at 122. It was 122 the whole time. So if the heart rate is inaccurate, that makes the app useless and not worth money.
Good app
So im someone who is currently suffering with breathing and heart pain which I have had checked out by doctors and everything is normal and down to anxiety apparently. But this app was able to track my heart rate and stress levels which indeed was very high in the 80% levels so now I have a basic understanding that i am very stressed out currently and energy was low to. But once again great app and I’ll continue to use this to help me recover. 👍🏼
Absurdly priced
Helpful app for tracking my heart rate & health, however, most features unavailable unless you pay for pro, and charging $7 a WEEK to check our own pulse is disgustingly greedy. This app should cost that for lifetime access— NOT on weekly basis?? Gross.

There appears to be only options that charge a weekly, monthly or annual fee. A simple free option appears to not exist.
Good app, unless you are colour blind
I’ve been using the app for about 2 weeks to check in throughput the day. It’s easy to use and gives a good daily overview. But the colour scheme is just red-amber-green, which excludes anyone with a colour blindness. For some of the trends, the info tells you which value is good, but you don’t have labels or an axis on the trend line. I assume when it’s green, it’s ok - but it could also just be, that different lines have different colours. If you don’t want to change the colour pallet: add symbols like up-triangle, circle, down-triangle to make it clear and accessible.
Am I dying?
According to this app I have a very low heart rate score, it’s always a slow start and my heart health is permanently in the 30’s. I’m fit, not overweight, I exercise regularly and I’m healthy. I’m under medical supervision for a blood condition but have had extensive heart examinations and investigations but nothing has been found wrong with my heart. I tried the app on my husband and he too is in the low zone. These apps could lead me to believe that I’m about to die. I’m not sure how accurate the HRV is but on days where I’m shattered after no sleep and feel lousy I’ve had my best scores. I think the app can make you paranoid and unnecessarily worried and I’d advise caution if downloading it.

Took three different reads didn’t do anything different they were three minutes apart. Don’t think this is actually accurate at all. Go to your doctor to get your heart checked.

While another heart app says I am doing excellent today, this one has me at deaths door and yet my health score is 36% higher than 38% of all men 60 - 69 years of age who are also using this app. Something seems a tad off to me.
