Tyme bank is a great banking app I use but one this they need to set up fast is Apple Pay as ik a few of my friends have left it bc they do not have apple I advise tyme bank to try and set up Apple Pay bc I am also a Apple user but I did not want to leave tyme bank that why I came here to write this message to tell them to make a Apple Pay so they do not lose customers
Updates, forgets pin, issues,
This app is not user friendly. I don’t use it often but everytime I do, it needs an update. That’s very annoying. Every time I need to reset my pin. You’ve been a bank for a while now. Fix this thing.
Internet issues
Currently have been experiencing issues when i want to deposit onto something else on the internet using EFT or internet banking. Any idea how to fix it?

Im so disappointed in this app and its customer service. internet banking has been discontinued and I need to connect via internet banking for specific payments/debicheck mandates and nobody can assist this is very infuriating
Adopt Apple Pay
TymeBank is a great, easy-to-use app, but adding support for Apple Pay would make it even more convenient. Please consider enabling Apple Pay to improve the overall user experience.
No option to remove or delete beneficiaries

No Apple Pay support and limited functionality via the iOS app
The TymeBank app is stable and relatively easy to use. For some odd reason, the UI on Android seems to be a lot more nicer than iOS. The iOS app does have most of the commonly used functionality but you would end up having to use internet banking via your laptop, which is where TymeBank falls short off other banking apps like Discovery Bank. The biggest plus with TymeBank is the GoalSave feature, which is quite useful. The biggest issue with the iOS app is the lack of Apple Pay support. I honestly don't understand why TymeBank doesn't support Apple Pay when they have Samsung Pay, Google Pay and Garmin Pay enabled. It's quite frustrating and I find myself not using my TymeBank account because I don't carry around my bank/loyalty cards anymore.

Brilliant FinTech
I love most of what tyme bank is bringing to banking in SA. No monthly fees, free EFT, free data purchases, no fees to pay with card, low cash withdrawal fees. Smart shopper rewards, good interest rates on savings, cost effective credit card, more tyme is really useful, as are there new pos solutions and the sole trader business account too. The perfect bank account for almost every person's needs. Issues I had or points for improvement: No Apple pay or Google wallet integration I prefer being able to have all my cash in a savings account where I can partially withdraw when I need some. The savings pots or goals don't allow partial withdrawal, only full. No in app chat with support staff A cap on the interest earning savings you can have across your profile. No easy equities integration or integration with a FinTech broker No financial analysis of your spend The app and services crashed over new years and left me at the till unable to pay. A few crashes after that in Jan left me unable to fully trust them as my primary bank. Combine this with the other points mentioned above and it ended up becoming my secondary account and thus will likely end up being closed at some point as I find the cheapest discovery pay as you transact account and their other offerings offer me what I need to have them as my primary account (I had accounts with both banks at the same time to compare and decide which I'll keep). All in all a brilliant FinTech neobank bringing necessary disruption to the sa banking sphere .

Great bank but I can’t use the business account on this app. What’s the point of having one when l cant use it
Toggle between accounts
It would be even better if you have the same features on IOS(apple)as you do on Android , ie . Make it possible to switch between accounts, when using the app.

Doesn’t matter how many times I update the app, every time I log in there’s an annoying prompt to update, and on iOS devices we don’t have the option to request a payment/ deposit code. Why is that? Why do I have to go through the USSD Code for it?

Overall TymeBank has been good in terms low transaction fees and service charges , the one problem is when a transaction doesn’t go through but it reflects as a deduction on your account. Bye bye to your money because you won’t get it back
Non responsive design (auto resizing)
Pin entry is showing Arabic numerals for some reason at login. Roll over images and screen content in the app cannot be resized. Not suitable for a mini screen size.

Thank you for creating a fintech bank that doesn’t cannabalise you with fees and for being inclusionary (only fingerprints and ID needed to open account is genius) please fix your app tho, it’s almost always stuck on loading and i always have to log in via a web browser Everything else is spot on

There’s nothing to complain about this app. Would love to have a way to hide my balance cuz I don’t want anyone to see it. And I can see my smartshopper ponts and my rewards

I’m unable to view my business account on the iOS
Not bad but not useable either
The general functioning of the app is good but for the life of me, I cannot understand why we still don’t have the ability to switch between Personal & Business accounts within the app. @Developers, any idea when this will be built into the app? For now, I don’t use the app at all and have to login via the web so that I can see both my accounts. Frustrating!
Great Bank, Poor iOS Support.
It’s 2026 and TymeBank still does not support Apple Pay, while Samsung Pay and Google Pay are available. This is extremely disappointing for iOS users and makes the app feel neglected. There is also no TymeCode on the iOS app for cash deposits, and using the account number does not allow deposits either. This makes it very inconvenient when someone needs to deposit cash into my account, something that should be basic functionality for a bank. Overall, the iOS app feels poorly supported and maintained compared to the Android version. Features arrive late or not at all, and usability suffers because of it. TymeBank needs to take iOS users seriously. Hire more developers, prioritise feature parity, and fix these gaps. The bank has great potential, but the app experience is holding it back.
