Great for tracking your collection
I’m really happy with how this app has come along. It’s an amazing collection tracker and has a deck builder that lets you track your wins by deck. I still hope to see scan-to-deck in the deck builder at some point, but it’s not essential. Just that typing in all the names for a commander deck is tedious.
Cheeky Pricing
First impression of the app was okay. But you can only store 100 cards before you have to pay for space. How much depends on how much space you need. Considering this data is held on my own device, it’s really a bit cheeky. I get it. Devs need to eat. I’ll pay for premium services if I need them. But paying to unlock more of my phone’s storage? No thanks.
Good but room for improvement
Great app in totality. Holds prices, decent price point for what the app offers, and the scanning saves tons of time. For 5 stars though, there should be a method when scanning decks into a collection to make sure foils are scanned as foils even if it’s just a checkbox. There also is an issue with certain sets (Japanese Strixhaven Mystical Archive) not being in the app when searched or scanned. Lastly there should definitely be an option to export decks on their own instead of just the entire collection.
Needs Improvement
Previous versions of the app scanner worked better. Now when the scanner fails to identify the card, the scanner must be closed and opened again. Then it works great, until it doesn’t. Sometimes I can scan a few cards in without a failure, other times it’s every single card. It makes it take forever to add cards into my library. Maybe add a capture button instead of constantly trying to scan? Like I said, scanner used to work better.
Scanner fails constantly
I’ve bought space for 2000 cards, but it does not scan efficiently. Sometimes it’s too fast and if there are multiple versions of the card it crashes after adding the selected card to the collection.

It only allows you to catalog 100 cards for free, if you want to catalog more it asks for $5. I decided to spend the $5 and then it charged me $50.
Scanner issues with update
Great app and I use it all the time. Since the recent update, my scanner won’t pickup my camera and I’ve check permissions. I can still manually add them via set list, but that is quite cumbersome for multiple reasons.

Current Update broke the scanner.
I love using Card Binder to store my collection and search for cards. I have used for years now but the current update broke the scanner. It locks up after just a couple of cards and needs to be reset making imputing a new set take FOREVER! A couple features that would be great. Would be the addition of filtering cards by sets, as well as the ability to add custom tags to cards that could be filtered.
Good app
Great app, however I’m noticing still alot of cards not getting picked up or scanned in, how often is the database being updated? Paid for the extra 1000 slots 🫶🏻
Fix it!
App keeps crashing, none of the cards will load, and the scan tool makes the camera go pitch black. I don’t know what happened but this app went from great to useless. Either fix it or refund me the $50 I spent buying storage!
Precon scan
When scanning a precon and trying to use that as my scanned “commander deck” it’s flagging for 99 cards bc it’s not counting my commander. Just sat here for 2.5 hrs talking with chat gpt to try to figure out if I was missing anything or messing anything up but I’m not. When it shows how many of each card I have it totals to 100 but the app is just taking away 1 for commander. Is there anyway I could get help with this?
Costs to add more cards
$0.99 for 100 slots and $5 for 1,000 slots. It would have been nice to know that before scanning 242 cards.
Pay to play
The interface is delightful, and the card organization is quite good. It also has accurate value ratings per card. However, when you first get the app you only get space for 100 cards (unique; duplicates don’t count) and you have to purchase more space after you fill that. It’s $.99 for 100, and $4.99 for 1000. Therefore if you have a large collection, such as 6000 cards, you’re spending about $30. It’s not totally insane for a trustworthy and functional card binder app, but it’s good to note before you download the app, that you should not choose it because it’s “free.” It’s not, unless your collection is only 100 cards, in which case you probably don’t need this app anyways. I would urge the app developers to lower their prices to a slightly more reasonable rate.
The app works
This app is fine but it does take a long time to scan cards. I do enjoy having it though and I recommend it to anyone who wants to keep a digital binder of their cards. If there are better options out there it’s too late for me to get on board with those so it would be nice if the developers would optimize certain features like set recognition and scan speed.
Ridiculous Fee Structure
It cost nothing to keep track of more cards. I understand the developer needs to have the app free in order to acquire users, but essentially charging users per row of data is the most asinine fee structure I’ve heard of.

I would advise to scan cards into your collection in small batches because it gets so boring at times. Only real criticism is needing to spend money for more collection size but it’s reasonably priced

No escanea las cartas en japonés y su uso gratuito está limitado a 100 cartas.
Overall what I need
Some things can help streamline adding my whole Collection would be full card scanning, instead of attempting to sift through many different sets for a variety of cards. Second, my wife and I share our collection. And as we are both active duty military being able to have this list accessible on both of our phones would be incredibly beneficial. Also, if I can’t log in, does that prevent me from seeing this list on any other devices?
Technical Issues
Not the perfect app but far, far better than most every other competitor. One suggestion to the developer would be adding the ability to filter cards in your collection by set (without viewing the entire set and toggling the “cards in/cards not in my collection” filter from the set view within the “See Cards By Set” search menu).
Do not purchase, charged $22 for a $0.99 purchase
I thought this was a great app when I first started using it but once I used up my first 100 free card spots and went to buy another 100 for $0.99 it charged me $22. Contacted customer support multiple times with no response.
Good App
It is great for keeping your collection up to date. The export function could use some work. I have to manually manipulate the data before I can import it anywhere. Also, the is a bug right now with Dragon Storm. The app doesn’t recognize the cards as legal for some reason. I have 12,000 logged in the binder, so I obviously like it and am vested in it.

Exported CSV files not compatible with other site
I really love the scanning function and the ability to choose foil/nonfoil along with the way it shows all the card with that scanned name. And I love that you can look at the whole release of cards by their set. The search ui could use some work to not be so clunky. But right now, I am unable to export a csv file that can be read on either deckbox or moxfield, which is making this system useless for me.

Having to pay for more space by number of cards is ridiculous. I have a book app - I can scan books, search the internet for them, have an unlimited library where I can take tons of notes on each individual book - it was a one time 5.99 fee. Let’s me organize everything however I want. Should be a one time upgrade fee.
Great UI but could use a few improvements
I think this is a great app out of the box. I cataloged about 400 cards in the first week I had it. The scanning ability is great, but there are some clunky pieces to the UX that could use some improvement: * after scanning a card, you should be able to directly add it to a pre-existing deck. Currently, you have to go into the deck, hit +, and then find your card. At scale it becomes tedious. * after scanning some cards and adding a quantity, you can’t add them to a deck. This happened with my Gandalf the White card. Scanned, added qty, but when I try to add it to my deck, the app can’t find it. It’s listed in my cards though. * the app needs bulk functionality. I should be able to scan 100 cards, bull select them all, and add them to a deck. Doing one at a time is the worst. * most of the time the filtering doesn’t work. If I select “show only cards from today” all my cards still show.
Another Money Wanting App
A great little app that scans quickly and effectively. Although, you are limited to only scanning 100 cards before having to pay! I was excited and thought this app was to good to be true and I was right. If you are willing to spend $8.99 for 1000 more cards then go fore it but if you this is beyond your budget then I would go for an app such as DragonShield. Quite disappointing :(
Decent
Good till you go to proper check of a lot of different basic lands. Gotta go hunt them down very time consuming because it could be in 4 different locations.
Exactly what I wanted!
This app is precisely what I’ve been looking for. I have physical binders to organize my cards which is great, but they’re not always practical to carry around with me (three binders of about 500+ cards each carry a lot of weight). This app is a fantastic way to catalog my collection for quick reference and craft decks before going through my collection and physically assembling it. There is a cost to upgrade the amount of cards stored, but to me it is a worthwhile investment.
App works fine. But limits you crazy without purchase.
App only gives you a 100 card capacity an wants you to pay for more storage. Would be better if you did more space for free.
$5 for 1000 cards!
The cards are expensive and enough. I have over 50 commander decks, not willing to pay $25 just for my commander decks. I was excited this has a great scan tool, just not worth the $$$. Online (free without limit) is a much better value. I would have paid $5 for a yearly sub (w/reasonable card tiers). The developers of this obviously are not collectors or at least of this economic plane.
Battery Drain with new release
I’ve been playing mobile for a long time. With the latest update “brother of war” release, my iPhone 12 is running hot and battery drain is noticeably worse. Please work on fixing in next sprint cycle!!!!
Good but needs more
This app is good but needs more adding to it definitely needs the ability to choose the store that you want the pricing to be collected from. Would also be great if you were able to list cards for sale directly from the app with those stores.
Great for seeing what cards you need to complete a set!!!
I have two mtg databases and I use this one to see what cards I am missing in a set and always nice to know exactly how many different cards are in the set. I also have the card format rows of 4 because I own only 12-pocket binders for each set and the app shows where they are placed by card numbers. The only thing I don’t like is I can’t create a deck when the cards are not on your database. Sometimes I compare the two databases and sometimes the values are different. Otherwise nice 😊 job.

I made diamond my first month when I paid 30$ , I’ve become a better player , more often and smarter hasn’t happened since my first month this game is garbage
Fantastic App
The app is great, I love being able to have a digital library of all my cards. The ability to sort and search is easy to use, and scanning the cards works well minus a few errors. I do wish the card values was better, I have many cards that say they are worth more than the really are, which is disappointing.

It was great for awhile
I reached around 14000 cards and suddenly all my card space upgrades disappeared. I would have to buy them all again. Before that, was pretty good for purposes.
Awesome App
Way better then other premium card tracker apps. Up to Date Database…. Scan tool works 98 percent of the time and can scan black cards and full art cards without a problem
Many issues
I have been looking for a database manager, but this is riddled with issues... 1. The scan is not cooperative. I tried several times... it would pick up sample words, but would not recognize the whole card. 2. The search is not intuitive at all. Use the search icon at the bottom... then, you have to click on the magnifying glass in the top right... type in your card name... then “search”. 3. The search function needs work. I had to use the filters to actually find a land card because it would not come up if I had all selected. “Entomb” is another example where I had to select only “instant” to find my card. 4. Search fails... I could find versions of my “Wheel of Fortune”, but not all versions of the card was available. When I did a search for “Serendipity Efreet”, it didn’t find my card until I re-adjusted the filters. Then it found a version, but not the one I have. Could not find my “Plateau” no matter how many times and filters I tried. Even partial words may or may not be successful. 5. Not a full collection of cards. Only 1 version of cards available... Howling Mine, Wheel of Fortune, Yavimaya Coast, Progentus, and a few others that I have noticed. Would be nice to have a version change button so if you do find a card, you can switch between versions. 6. Auto correct during search changes your word and you have to re-type. 7. Card count... only 100 card slots? Pay $5+ for a 1000 more slots? I have way more than 1000 cards and am not paying $5 or $10 to add more. An app like this should not be out to make money from it’s users. 8. Seems like the database doesn’t distinguish prices between non-foil and foil cards. 9. You CAN’T filter your collection alphabetically. Overall, this app needs a lot of work, and streamlining to make it more intuitive to the user. And remove the cost for adding cards. I will stick with my Excel spreadsheet thank you.

It’s a great app for managing my decks on-the -go, checking if a certain card is in a deck, and supplementing my deck-building / deck-modifying process! For a next feature, I’d love to see the ability to automatically add cards and create a commander deck by selecting a precon deck.
Synchronisation impossible entre iPhone et iPad
J’ai l’appli depuis assez longtemps et jusqu’alors tout allait bien mais maintenant j’en cherche une autre car mes deux appareils ne se comprennent plus. Sur l’iPhone je trouve les cartes de la dernière extension en VF et sur l’ipad rien , ma collection est complète sur l’iPad et sur l’iPhone que la moitié. Bref elle ne fonctionne plus
Great App But Won’t Sync Between Devices
I love the app for managing my collection and it initially synced between my iPhone (better card scanning) and my iPad (better Deck management). But once I got over 1100 cards, it just stopped syncing. Now I have to create a .csv file and transfer it back and forth every time I make a change to keep both updated. #frustrated.

You’re only allowed 100 cards in the free version. It doesn’t scan some of the more unique lands I have like island 310. It doesn’t scan token creatures either
Amazing, but needs some more stuff
It works amazingly, but I just wish you had more card space. Until now, I never knew the value of my cards.
Like no card space
I am a degenerate mtg player with like 3000 cards, and it is mostly people like me who would purchase this app. But with only 100 cars space you can’t do anything.
I like but…
I wish you would add advance search such as on the Gatherer Magic Card Database. This would allow us to find card we need to built our next deck. Hopefully your update will included this feature. But overall, I like it.
