Excellent Asset Tracking
This application has helped me understand how to build an updatable tracking database for field asset management. The easy, intuitive demos and QField Community Forum have guided me from making a base level project to creating a system for a small company asset management template. Thank you to all the developers and users willing to share their tools and knowledge. Additionally, it’s fun to use for personal use and educational purposes.
Muchas limitaciones
Hay cosas simples que no funcionan como cálculos sencillos en campos. Hay cosas que se construyen en QGIS que luego cuando se pasan a Qfield no funcionan. No hay opción de descarga de tablas
Close But Unstable In My Case
So much more featured than SW Maps and better laid out. I’m really thrilled to see Bluetooth support and NTRIP, but unfortunately the app (v 4.2.4) has been very unstable for me (random crashes, sometimes within no more that 20s of getting RTK Fixed), to the point that I found it unusable in the field. Fingers crossed they can get these stability issues fixed soon, because it is much nicer than SW Maps. I hope my telemetry helps.

Seems like a good app for importing data but I cant even create a new layer (eg. Polygon) to digitize stuff…
Great app…once you know what your doing
Took a hot minute to figure it out but there is a lot of online support from tons of people for this. It’s a great community and I really appreciate everyone’s contribution.
Utterly unable to get to work
Instructions are confusing. I have a QGIS project on my laptop that I want to access while in the field. In QGIS I export the field data into a shape file then no further progress. Unable to access the shape files. Unable to import or open the shape files as the process to open/access/import is as clear as mud. Appears to require a degree of file transfers and manipulations well beyond my 40 years of using Mac and almost 15 years of iPhone use
Gets better every release
QField continues to get great development and does a great job in moving QGIS projects to mobile (especially with FieldCloud). Now running it with over 40 mobile users on private missing persons searches. Keep up the great work.
Keeps crashing
The app keeps crashing every time I move the screen.
Übergriffige Medienkontrolle und Irrlauf mit Kontoanmeldung
Mit dem Öffnen der App werden zuvor gestartete Medienwiedergaben abgebrochen und lassen sich nicht wieder starten. Weshalb blockiert die App das Abspielen von Audioinhalten im Hintergrund? Mit dem Start ein Konto zu verbinden verliert sich die App in einem langen Prozess, der jegliche Handlung für lange Zeit unmöglich macht, selbst wenn eine Verbindung gar nicht gewünscht war. Es lässt sich nicht abbrechen und auch nichts anderes in der App ausführen.

Flawless
Läuft bei mir auch bei gröseren Projekten tadellos ohne abzustürzen…wenn es doch mal passiert, gehen selbst gesetzte Bookmarks verloren. Ansonsten keine Beanstandungen! Auch das importieren von Projekten auch als Zip funktioniert sehr einfach.
Nicht Ausgereift
App hängt sich bei Projekten auf,d. H. Ich muss die gesamte App Herunterwerfen und neu installieren. Kamera funktioniert nicht.

Don’t waste your money on expensive ESRI products, this will do most of what field maps does
Work easily lost
A whole days work can easily be lost when the data will not push to the cloud. I wish you could save changes to your devices drive too incase the synchronisation doesn’t work. Additionally it can’t use a Bluetooth gps device on iOS.

Not a real MacOS Version
Even if this is a great App with a lot of useful functions, I miss a real desktop version where I can do everything with my mouse like creating paths and streets much faster as you can find it in the Windows/Linux Version.
Great mobile GIS-app not only for professionals
In combination with QGIS you can produce all maps with personalized data you can think off! Best trails to go hiking/biking, nature observations, secret sites only you know, etc. When I'am out in the landscape I use QField more often than GoogleMaps, because QField ist also the best way to visualize Openstreetmap combined with your private data.

Für Apple völlig nutzlos, da man keine Dateien aus einem zip Order hochladen kann. Gerade in dieser Form werden Daten vom Landwirtschaftsamt aber zur Verfügung gestellt.
Buttons offscreen
The update to version 3.7.2 changed the application's display on the iPhone 14 screen, now the buttons at the top of the screen appear below the time, signal strength and battery bar (on the iPhone itself), making it very difficult to use the application.
So far so good - a couple issues
So far the app is working well. It is useful for being able to create polygons of objects in canopy height models and satellite imagery. Something that I think would make this app better to used would be to give the option of choosing where certain features are on the screen. For example, the green tick and Red Cross that are in the bottom right when drawing a polygon would be useful to have in the left hand corner so that when you are drawing a shape file with a stylus you can easily confirm the edit without having to cross under your other hand.

Es gibt offenbar auf dem IPad keine Möglichkeit, Daten in QField zu importieren, die App ist deshalb (für mich) unbrauchbar.

Läuft nicht
Läuft jetzt problemlos unter iPad OS 16.1, auch auf dem M2. Sehr schnelle Anpassung/Reaktion der Entwickler auf dieses Problem.

Application très instable qui plante dès que l’on charge des photographies aériennes un peu lourdes. —>application inutilisable
Pretty nice
Very nice app, elegant UI. Their cloud service works well. With a bit of qgis knowledge the options are huge. I can get the measure feature in imperial units but cannot get the navigation/stakeout feature in anything but metric. If that were easy to get it'd be nearly a home run for me.

Local Files and iCloud integration
I love this app and all the abilities it has unlocked! The only piece missing is the ability to open local files in iOS that could then be synchronized via iCloud. Would love to be able to work on a collaborative farm project with my family members through iCloud. Thank you so much for this amazing app!!!

Gute App
Sehr schöne App. Ist leider noch nicht ganz fehlerfrei aber dennoch bereits sehr gut. Wenn der Fehler behoben wird, dass man auch neue Layer/Dateien verpacken und damit der cloud hinzufügen kann, die nicht im cloud Ordner abgelegt wurden sowie die Synchronisation der einzelnen Layer gut funktionieren (bisher lösche ich das gesamte Projekt und lade es neu rein damit alles richtig funktioniert, das kostet Zeit und mobile Daten) gibts gerne die 5 Sterne.
The long road out of beta is over!
I’ve been a huge fan of qfield both in iOS and android. The functionality of qfield is quite nice, and the UI equally as good. I’ve been using it in the beta for the past year and I’m so happy that I can actually recommend it to my open source clients!

Getting there
I have been using the Test Flight versions for a while now and it has improved so vastly in the past six months that I can now start using it and adding assets and site notes in the field! Fantastic to have all the QGIS maps unaltered running so well in my palm.
