Favorite fitness app
I’ve been a member for about a year. I love this fitness app. Once you connect it to discord, you can join monthly challenges and connect with other users. It’s fun and motivating 💪🏽
They updated and all progress and points were lost
My friends my activity points and all my animals I had released. All of them gone. Seriously do better. Hate the update
Really like it but…
I wish the option to manually put in your workouts was back. Sometimes I forget to wear my watch or even enter it into my health till later and it doesn’t always pick it up in this application.
Inability too view on any IPad IOS
The app doesn’t work on IOS 17 or below on IPads. Used too work prior too all the fabulous updates. Nice product though. Really would hope the developer could help.

No support
Does not sync Fitbit calories so their bingo game is worthless given that. They want you to download Discord and chat with community … a discussion board for an array of stuff. Finally found an email address which is apparently unmonitored since no reply after 3 contacts. I’ll be deleting if issue doesn’t correct itself. Glad that I had not asked others to join. Note 10000+ steps = 132 calories according to them while they claim to be syncing with Fitbit…. Not even close.
Decent motivator!
Decent little tamagotchi game that keeps you motivated, I’d love if they added more pets or evolutions to the game as well as Watch Complications
Can’t connect Fitbit
It won’t allow me to connect my fit bit or other watches. As soon as you click it it says connection failed and it’s not syncing to Apple health correctly
Needs work
It’s a cute little app and when it works it’s not half bad but it doesn’t often work properly. Often you will log a workout and it will tell you your percentage for the week is 92% for example, then a few hours later you open up the app and suddenly it’s dropped to 88% for no reason. Not great for motivation to essentially be told you failed the goal when you know you haven’t

I like this app bc it helps me to keep active bc the more I am the more I see my little dragon on here grow up!
Not a fan of the new update
I’m not a fan of the update. The app is more complex and no longer motivates me to workout. I enjoyed the original version with the original monster - I never got to see what he would look like fully grown. Sorry to say, I Will be deleting the app
Great app, it just doesn’t support the sport I do..
I have been appreciating this app a lot so far, having very much fun seeing what my friends are up to + the system works great I think. Also, I appreciate the fact that there are LOTS of different sports to choose from, except for mine. I often go inline skating/ice skating (depends on the season) and it’s kinda sucky that I have to keep putting in a ‘cycling’ workout..
Not a fan
The app is not user friendly. It is all over the place and the points make no sense. I had high hopes.
Asks for “biological sex”
I downloaded this app to try because the ad interested me, but I was immediately disappointed when one of the first set up questions I was asked was “biological sex.” That term is outdated and inaccurate, and there's no reason to ask trans people to out themselves for your app especially in the current times. There is also no option other than “male and female.” Even if you are going strictly on sex assigned at birth, that is still not going to be accurate for everyone. Intersex people exist! I know that this app is still in beta, so I hope that the developers will see this and fix this issue. If it is resolved, I would love to give it another go, but as a trans person that one question immediately made me feel uncomfortable using the app or sharing my data with its developers. I gave three stars because it makes me give a star rating, and I didn't feel right giving one star when I haven't even used the app and it's still in beta. If someone reaches out to me and fixes this, I will be very happy to you give the app another go and given an honest review based on my experience with it, or simply delete this one!

Just Quit
Been using this app for quite some time now. All of a sudden it quit tracking. Wouldn’t sync to other apps. Deleted and reinstalled and can’t get past start page. Website down, support down. No help here whatsoever. Very disappointed as I was really enjoying this app with friends.

Fun app…but…
I enjoy the app a lot, but when there is an update and something new is added or taken away, my app never fails to not work properly. Right now, I can’t get past the last week review and start the week pop up screen. Literally just stuck on that screen and can’t go further. Also, when I hit my 40% before the end of Wednesday night, I’m not getting my points for it any longer.
Try to keep up ...
It's a good app but it's alway behind you check your steps and see you'v done 50,000 steps but motion says you'v done 3,568 steps this app needed to keep up we Need a way to update the data. I don't got on the app that much because the steps are always wrong. Please can you fix
Fun and motivating!
I have been using this app for over a year now and i absolutely love it. At first i just joined with 2 of my friends so we could challenge each other but it really got better once i got involved in the discord channel. I’m in the May challenge and it’s been really motivating - especially the mini challenges. I’m glad I was introduced to it and I’m looking forward to all the future updates being announced!
Login Problems
I've had this app for about a year now and recently tried to upgrade to the new version. 1st it stopped keeping track of my movement and wouldn't update the app and now it won't let me log on. I tried to delete the app and re-download and now it won't even let me put any information in. I really liked the app when it worked and I even competed with friends on the app. I started using the apps before my friends, but because it quit recording my movement I got stuck on level 8 while my friends made it to level 11 and now I can't even log in anymore. I can't figure out how to contact customer service, but hopefully if they see this review they'll contact me, so we can get this fixed.
A great new app!
Have been using the app since Christmas and love it. Have managed to add the app widget to my phone screen and it keeps me motivated to keep up with my weekly goals. Couple of teething problems with setting each goal differently but I know it’s a new app so have just been setting my step goal each week to keep the streak. Definitely worth downloading!
Fun while it worked
I downloaded this app over a year ago and it worked for a lot of that time. Then it just stopped recording my activity so when I’d go into it at the start of a week, it wouldn’t have recorded anything and would say that I’d missed my target. I went through all the steps to ensure that it was connected to my Apple health data etc and tried to contact the app developer. This itself is difficult to do when everything is done on Discord and I don’t use it - when I did sign up and post a question about the issue I was facing, no one replied. After yet another week of having gone for four runs and being told that I’d missed my target (and lost challenges against friends), I felt so frustrated that I deleted the app. No point in asking for people to pay extra when they can’t get the basics right.
Says it’s still in the Beta?

Paid the fake money for the black icon and it didn’t change. Not an huge deal but, why bother with it.

Love this app! It is encouraging and funny. Developers are always coming up with fun new things to do.
With the updates glitches
With updates glitches. Last update lost my parrot, this update lost my winter wonderland scene in environments. Need to fix glitches in the updates. The app works and is fun, but getting coins is difficult since you took away liking activities on feed. So adding up coins takes forever so you can purchase anything and when you lose it very frustrating after an update.

NEEDS feature for group challenges.
Absolutely love this workout app! It’s focused and fun. Love the widget option. Not like the other activity apps such as Fitbit & Stridekick that allow too many bots and fake accounts. With Motion you connect with people you know. With that being said, Motion at this time only allows individual challenges. What is truly needed is a group challenges feature to allow several friends at a time in a challenge. That addition will make Motion even more fun and top tier! 💯
Rude customer service
I had an iPhone 12, and I upgraded to an iPhone 15. when it re-downloaded the motions app and asked for a code, so I emailed customer service for a new code or the code I had . they sent me a four digit number. Obviously the code was asking for an eight digit number they could’ve just said no.
Great app until it wasn’t
I loved this app for about 8 mos and got 5 of my coworkers to download and use it. We would have competitions at work and we all loved it. One day it just stopped updating. I lost my parrot and my background that I had worked for. I deleted the app then tried to download it again, but I can’t get it using the same phone number I had used the first time I used the app. I reached out to support on Discord and they are super slow to respond, sometimes a week or more. Nothing they have told me to do has worked. This happened to me about 6-8 weeks ago and now my coworkers are all having the same problem with the app not updating with their workouts. I’ve completely deleted the app and I honestly miss it. It seems that the developers don’t care at all about the app anymore. Once they updated and took away the coin rewards for liking other people’s workouts, it went downhill fast.

Non working Link, No Response
Like many others in my Apple community, I downloaded this, got on the wait list and shared my referral code. I got a link in an email that is actually not a link and I also have a notice that says I have more than the three referrals required for immediate access…but no access. Deleted for now until I can confirm it’s not a scam, as many others in the community are having the same experience. I get that there’s a waitlist, but sending non existent links and ignoring your access prone to people who sent others to you is unprofessional and not a good look if you want to appear legitimate.
Incorrect time
It does not show the correct times on the app. For example it shows that I ran at 2:30 but actually it was at 4:30.
My Steps
This app is good and I like what it’s about but it doesn’t always track my steps correctly. My Apple Watch will have way more steps and tell me I meant my gold and this app will have me approaching it.
Does not work
Downloaded the app and entered my cell phone number, the app said it wasn’t valid. Also it seems kinda spammy… you have to get other people to sign up to move forward or something. Be careful with this one.
Unhappy User
I loved using my Motions app & I had progressed to level 10. My app started gliching about 3 weeks ago but today, the app froze completely so I tried to delete & reopen. Once I did that, I could not get back in. I asked several users to send me codes but the app will not let me back in. When I try to join the waitlist, the app does not send a code. I am very disappointed because I loved being motivated by my workout group. I am sure all of my progress is lost, I am so very unhappy about the whole situation.
