I can honestly say I am stronger and have more energy thanks to this app. I downloaded it last year and it continues to motivate me even without notifications. It has given me the extra push I needed to do my exercises and get my steps in. The settings are easy to adjust to your individual goals. While there’s a small delay between my watch and the app, it has been reasonably accurate. I love the way this app has helped me, and I look forward to discovering other sweet projects by this developer. 💐
NO Rewards!
I have been playing this game for a couple of years. I’ve been sick most the time and finally completed one of their missions for the first time about a week ago. I’ve been trying to accomplish this for a long time. After busting my butt, I never got the reward!. Like nothing happened. I even sent them 2 emails explaining that I accomplished the mission. No reply and no reward. If you like trying really hard to achieve a goal and not get the reward you were expecting, this game is for you. I’m going to find something else.
Hops - my spirit
To the developers , designers and the stakeholders. Good engagement with rewards that come up every 500 steps it’s extremely satisfying. I just engaged with it regularly everyday since 6 months now. Yes you’ll end up building a habit of these three activities that you select. I selected activity , steps and floors . I must say. I do have 1 energy days and since last month only to see the map areas I have built 6 perfect days. Number 1 : I love this app, please either to add rewards for activity minutes as do a lot of cardio with brpm ranging from 143 to 183 . I really wish I get more rewards for that reward over steps. Number 2 : I just finished the 120 energy map areas round. I was expecting a little more than animated eyes haha. And without realizing, I clicked on round 2 , although you mentioned a text , the visual cue of differentiating , round 1 and status it’s not concrete. Yes so my 120 energy map is gone without hops having to explore I worked really hard to save 120 energy , without settled for less energy locations. This app may be hops for you but it’s a hope for me. Thank you for tapping on of the motivation of the user. Thank you for making it. Please please please some intrestung rewards instead of eyes. Thank you so much hops team for a wonderful 4 months. I was consistent with my fitness journeys thank you for this gamified app.

It’s fine
If you want to make something nice with your materials, you need like 40 of the same kind. Your bag storage only goes to 50. There is no easy way to off load useless materials while keeping the ones you need. It makes it hard to stay motivated!
Nice daily check in
I love my lil creature and the hopping effect is really soothing. It has helped me stay active in the winter months! And i love the slow and noncompetitive nature of the app. Only wish would be for more customizations or different maps as you progress through. Having the same maps in each round was a little disappointing.

was a fan until this scamming update. saved up and bought an outfit pack mid progress, didn’t say i would have to pay several rubies, which are extremely hard to earn, after already wasting a mission on the pack. i bought some ugly brown shirt from a pack. not the bear ears, face, or anything. maybe make the app more understandable, will be deleting. wasted 100k steps and 6 days for nothing. extremely disappointed.
Very cute and entertaining
Love how cute and entertaining this is. Unlocking the different areas is motivating! Love that it’s not a subscription either to use the features and unlock things. The only thing that has bothered me is that you can’t preview the items on your character before you buy them. I would love to be able to see what they look like on before deciding what to buy!

Nice app, needs minor fix
The app is cute and it’s easy to complete the tasks a little at a time. I’m a little confused about the energy. As far as I understand, 1 energy is given per goal completed and 3 extra is given if all are completed. I completed them all and should get 6 energy. But no. I only got 1. If this is not an error, then I feel cheated. If this is an error, then the explanation should be corrected.

I love this app! It’s adorable and simple, it really helps me get motivated and you don’t really have to pay for anything!
Doesn’t count flights climbed
I exercised for 25 minutes, climbing steps at a local movie theater. I recorded the activity as stair stepper on my Apple Watch. The stairs I climbed were approximately 25 to 30 feet. I did it back and forth 10 times. Your app didn’t record my efforts. I was really excited about this game, I wanted to customize my character—now I feel cheated.
An adorable and satisfying app
It’s so cute and visually pleasing, and I love being rewarded for meeting my activity goals. I would give it 5 stars if there were some more updates - there gets to a point pretty quickly where you’ve done and collected everything possible, which is sad times. I just want more of it because it’s so nice.

An old favorite
I love this app and I only wish that it came with more updates/materials to buy! I use the app often enough that I have a hundred rubies burning a hole in my backpack.
Restore progress?
Had to delete to make space on phone at one point. Redownloaded and it’s making me start over. Can’t see any way to restore purchases and the help section isn’t helpful. This is a terrible app design if progress can’t be restored. That is a lot lost!
Fun little game
Gave some motivation to get my daily exercise but once I reached all the goals there was no reason to continue playing. The visuals are very good. I see they’ve done an update so I’ll check today and see if they’ve added any new challenges.—Ok, they’ve added a new map to explore. That’s great. Doesn’t appear to have any other changes.

Cute, but not accurate
Not sure how the game is meant to translate activity into resources, but it really doesn’t work very well — I get the same amount of material every day, no matter what. Further, once you’ve seen all the initial locations, *thats it*. You will be repeating that map, the only map, over and over.

I have been using this app for a long time and actually found it after years of using standland(which I also LOVE!) I’ll admit, I purchased all the items and went through the map once and didn’t use as much but then recently decided to go thru it again. Recently my apple watch stopped counting my steps on the activity app, but saw it recorded them in the health app. I was looking for something to motivate me again and saw hops app gives me the option to turn off the activity app but will still record steps and whatever else I choose for goals (ie - stand hours, flights, etc.)!! I am so happy that I can record steps again, because I noticed I am very motivated when I can see my progress!! You guys have made me so very happy!! THANK YOU!! 😊💕

I love this app so far! I think little Hop is adorable, that the visuals are beautiful and I love the integration with Apple Watch. I think this is a game with a lot of potential. I think it would have received 5 stars from me if there was some more purpose in the game, because right now it lacks some purpose/goal and motivation. Here are some suggestions to give the game more purpose: - Craft rooms or houses with the resources and the possibility to enter those rooms/houses. Rocks for the foundation and wood for the walls and maybe flowers for roof? (Or just that building a room costs some of each resource type and maybe some energy as well?). If you have different houses/rooms in each area of the map, it would feel more exciting to unlock a new area and to move around. The way the game is right now, I don’t understand what the point of unlocking a new map area is. - Buy furniture for your rooms that you can place around. Maybe it’s possible for Hop to sit on a chair? Rooms could be a bit expensive so that you have to save up for a while, while furniture could be more like the clothes. And if you could buy more than one of each furniture, like 4 chairs, players wouldn’t finish buying everything in the store so fast. - Paint for the house walls, much like Hop’s “skin” Houses and rooms would create a new “purpose” of building and expanding your home, not just dressing up. Also, this would make the game quite endless, preventing people from leaving the app because they bought everything in the store and opened all areas on the map. - Another suggestion is to make the speed and jump qualities you gain from new clothes matter in some way. Maybe you need a certain jump level to jump over a fence to get to a new area of the place you are in on the map? Maybe there is a resource high up that you want to reach? - Maybe there is a race with obstacles against one of the hop friends where both speed and jump matter and you gain resources from winning? If the app came with the possibility of building a house or a room with furniture, I would definitely upgrade to/buy the paid version of the game. Other suggestions to give the game more purpose: - Be able to buy seeds that you can plant, and you need energy to make them grow or to get water or fertilizer - More frequent challenges that can motivate exercise, not just every time you unlock a new area on the map. - Buy/pick up candy or food that you can give to Hop that fills up a happiness bar or something. This can motivate exercise because you want to make Hop happy ☺️ Maybe there is an advantage of making Hop happy? Or maybe it’s just a way to care for him. - Different types of resources in different areas of the map. To motivate players to unlock new areas of the map.

初め説明を全て見通していなかったのか悪いかもしれませんが、自分で歩いてもダメで、ワーク作業？みたいなやつもHopsを動かさないとカウントされないのでただの暇な時にやるやつなんじゃないのか？と思ってしまいました。また、ミッションが出てこないのと、エネルギーもゲット出来ず、歩くスペースが非常に狭い。ちょっと楽しみにしてたのでかなしかったです。
Slow going
The game is fun but it’s very slow moving. Even though I close all my rings it literally takes 2-3 days just to get enough magic leaves to get the next mission. Would be nice to get a daily mission.

I started waking around anxious to see what would happen, and nothing happened. It still says zero steps. And it’s in broken Engrish.
Fun, but has a limited life
This game is a nice, low pressure activity tracker and I was really enjoying it! However, after just a few months I seem to have run out of stuff to do. Once you get all the collectables and outfits there isn’t really anything else to spend your resources on, and there's only one map. Would love to see more added, but sadly it seems development on this game has stopped.

Crash crash crash 🤬
Like seriously it’s a kool app when it works🤦🏾♀️ I’ve been using it daily for the past few weeks but now every time I go to use the walking on my watch it says “Closing the Last Workout Session... please try again later... ok so the first time I waited but now I just uninstall and reinstall the app daily so I can get the walk workouts... I like it because it records the steps and calories for each workout but now that I have to reinstall daily is so annoying 🙄I love the cute critters and what not but if this keeps up I will delete and ask for a refund 🤷🏾♀️

I love this app the way you can dress hop up is cool hop make the cutes emotes, I have never had any problems with it it works so well, and I love the little friends you can have in it!!

Very motivating app but I’ve finished everything
Love the app and have been using it for a year and a half. I use it to track my activity and walks. It’s much more fun than the standard tracker that comes with the Apple Watch. Also, it counts my steps while I’m not wearing the Watch. However I’ve pretty much bought everything and have finished all the levels. Can you please add more accessories and levels? You’ll get 5 stars if you add more stuff.

Cute interface but activities aren’t accurately recorded so you can run up and down flights of stairs 10+ times and it not counting towards goals or missions. No ability for users to edit proper counts (I get why not but if your data is based on an inaccurate source, what good is that?). Also, game practically obligates you to make in-game purchases because your materials storage is tiny.
What now...
Update... I have been trying to make leaves so I can summon Linden because Not only didn’t get rewarded after visiting every place... I didn’t get very many opportunities for challenges... and for the second time, I used the make a leaf... and it took my 40 materials and didn’t give me my leaf!!! Very uncool, taking a star!!! I enjoy being more active keep my rings topped off... but I’m wondering what to do with my energy points now that I have visited all the places... nothing special at the end... anyone know what it was supposed to be??? More stars if you can fix...
Great game! But Devs! Help!
What a joy this game is. It’s super simple, super cute, and super accessible since you earn “energy” based on the number of “stands” you make in a day. Each “stand” is achieved by walking at least 80 steps in an hour, which is awesome for those who can’t take longer walks for various reasons (small or busy workspace, mobility/health reasons, etc.). Each day you are rewarded with an energy and materials in your mailbox, and up to 3 energy can be earned by achieving daily goals - which you can adjust, making it more accessible in some ways. It sounds slow, but slow and steady wins the race and there are other aspects to keep you entertained, like collecting materials to craft clothing and accessories. There are also other friends to unlock through daily challenges and a secret character. My only complaint is I want to upgrade my backpack/support the devs but it won’t let me! Help me give you money, devs!!
Why did the perfect score drop from 10 to 8??
I used to like this app, even though they are stingy with dropping materials. However, recently they stopped giving out energy for walking 5k and climbing 5 flights. This drops the perfect score from a 10 (which makes sense and motivates me) to an 8 (which is disheartening!!). Now, if I cannot make an entire 10 flights or an entire 10k steps, there is just no use in me trying that day. Very disappointed with this change!! I will probably stop playing because it is a daily frustration!
Cute but missing something
I’m enjoying the app so far but more outfit options or growth of the character and more map locations would be awesome. I don’t know it just seems to be missing a little something. Overall it’s cute but slow to progress and not much incentive after hitting all the map locations and getting the cutest outfits. Hope it expands.
It’s okay
I wish there was a way where you didn’t have to walk up/down stairs. I have a staircase of 4 steps and for whatever reason the app doesn’t count those as stairs. (No matter how many times I go up and down on them) So I’m not getting any “perfect days” Other than that the app is pretty decent.
Finished, now what?
I’ve dressed my Hop, I’ve visited all 6 locations, now what? Just start over?? Yawn. It was fun til I completed the locales. Now it’s not really fun or motivating. Back to competition with my friends.

For Olympians/Athletes
Posted: 15-01-2020 Device: iPhone X Title: For Olympians/Athletes Rating: 1 Star App Version: 2.0.0 I thought this app would be for the average user, but it’s set up for top athletes, olympians and HIIT masters - it’s definitely not for anyone who has a physical disability (or in my own case, multiple disabilities), as you’re expected to do more than you’ve ever been able to do and they won’t even reward you or pay for rehabilitation afterwards! I can walk 10,000 steps or more and do various activities. But I CANNOT walk floors, when my doctor advised I can only walk up a maximum of 3 steps in total (NOT 3 floors, BUT steps). I thought the app ‘Walkr’ was bias but it seems they only play with people’s mental health and well-being, NOT physical health - so, I’d recommend that app, as users actually get to do things within the app. Whereas this app, you can only collect 2 materials per day and (after months of collecting) then you can create/upgrade some item. Now that I think about it... this app wastes more time than anything and only motivates one to throw their phone at the wall, due to being driven crazy (by this useless app) for no reason!
Unfair quest
Every quest that I have had involves stairs. I cannot do the stairs. It needs to have a variety of quests

How do you get past round 1? I unlocked all the areas in the map so far. Is there more to this? If so, it’s not apparent how I get to round 2, if there is such a level.
