Monumental
This app gave me my dream labor and delivery and I even had a nurse say I must have been born to be a mother because I handled it so well. I liked her lol. My favorite tool was bee breathing and I’ve even used that in my everyday life postpartum
Paid for premium but locked out
I paid for premium but lost access to the content after 7 days. I was unable to resubscribe, restore purchase, or ask for a refund. I emailed app support and they were able to resolve it, but only temporarily. It was a horrible subscription experience, but the tracks are good, and that’s why I’m so frustrated! I also love how they’re paced and assigned for each day.
FIX THE NOTIFICATION ISSUE!!
I love this app, used it my whole pregnancy and now postpartum. But the notification issue is ridiculous, makes me want to unsubscribe and delete the app. I get 20 plus notifications a day all at one time. The notifications are old from past weeks. I have reached out to support with no luck.
Too many notifications
Today I got a notification for weeks 5, 8, and 9 all back to back. The sessions are not completing when I finish them and the meditation isn’t very helpful and you need to complete a certain amount to access additional option even tho I’m paying for it. Use YouTube. The subscription has been cancelled.
Mindfulness but confusing
A bit underwhelming as an experience. Mindfulness sessions meant for someone who never meditated before, so filled with nervous chatter while you’re trying to focus. Hypnosis sessions also feel nervous and confusing, didn’t get to actually relax to them. It’s weird that you can’t read their own book in their own app. Would appreciate some tidbits about baby development in the daily push messages instead of constant stressful badgering about iron intake. Affirmations are good though
Best five dollars I’ve ever spent!
I serendipitously purchased this app 24 before I went into labor. I didn’t practice Hypnobirthing during pregnancy. But love yoga, and meditation and figured this app is so affordable that I might as well have it handy. I’m so glad that I did! I only used it for 40 minutes of my 5 hour labor, but it was tremendously helpful during the time I did use it!
Doesn’t work as intended, don’t waste your money
Not happy at all. Purchased to unlock features and it still won’t work at premium level. When I asked for a refund and gave specific explanation I was refused without explanation. I feel misled and sold something that wasn’t delivered. So now I have an app that doesn’t do its job and no explanation why. Wasted money. I found an alternative and way better value elsewhere, the bad aftertaste after how my case was treated has stayed.
Great content, some glitches
I really like this app but I’m finding that there is a glitch where it is impossible to turn off the notifications (I can toggle them off but once I do I cannot save the settings) I find the notifications to be repetitive and stressful and it’s a bummer to not be able to switch them off!

Not for Me
The content was so-so for me, but I think some of the breathing exercises and affirmations were helpful on my delivery date. The app interface is clunky, though, and the whole page ads that you can’t close without clicking to open the ad (even after you’ve subscribed) are very, very annoying. Also, I agree with the other review that the way the speaker says ‘calm’ is genuinely distracting and probably the only thing I’ll remember from any of these recordings in the years to come.
Helps tremendously in preparing and mastering birth
You don’t need expensive courses or classes. This will get you through the mental blocks or birth and enter confidently. I was induced w my son and survived an unethical induction with zero dilation or cervical ripening. The baby was blasted out with pitocin after my water was broken. I survived pitocin without an epidural or c section , which I don’t think I could have done without these tracks. Also had two amazing home births after hospital nightmare and still wouldn’t have done it without this

I’ve been paying monthly for this app only to go into labor and be told I have to pay an additional $10 for the labor tracks. Absolute ripoff.
I like it but there is a glitch
I like the app and it has great meditations and ways to mentally prepare for birth, however there is an annoying glitch. Every day I get about 7 notifications at the same time for all different weeks of pregnancy, even though the app knows what week I’m in. I have created a new account and it still does this, not sure why.

Love the app! But there’s a bug currently
I loved using this app but I’m not able to use it anymore. Every time I try to, an ad pops up with an offer for a deal with breastfeeding coach Tracy Donegan. There’s no way to move past the screen and closing and refreshing the app doesn’t help either! I’d love for this to get fixed because I really do enjoy the content on here

A warning for fellow Christians
I want to warn all Christians about this app. While it initially seemed like a wonderful tool for preparing for birth, I was deeply disappointed by some of the spiritual elements it includes. The meditations and affirmations promote ideas that don’t align with Christian beliefs, and what’s even more concerning is the use of tarot cards as part of the weekly pregnancy journey. This is a clear departure from biblical teachings, and it’s heartbreaking to see an otherwise great idea take this direction. I truly hope the developers reconsider and create a more neutral space that is welcoming to all.
Very helpful for those anxious nights
I love the idea! I use the free version of the app because I’m on a budget but I’m sure I’ll be paying for the subscription later on my pregnancy.

What a gift
I just started using this today as what I consider to be “training” for my first labor and honestly just feel so grateful for it. I found myself overwhelmed to tears with gratitude as I did the visualizations, and I want to thank the people who built such an empowering, uplifting app for perhaps the most significant yet challenging life experience: giving birth. Bless you all!
Paid for subscription twice - both times was not given access to the extra content
In 2023 I was pregnant and subscribed paid the $10 it kept saying I needed to subscribe, gave up on it eventually. Never got access to anything other than the free version. Happened again this year with my new pregnancy so I sent them an email to their customer support but they didn't even reply. Out of $20 and feel stupid for taking a chance again

I enjoy the affirmations, not so much a fan of the stairway one. Wish app was cheaper.

My birth was amazing!!!
Highly recommend. I used this app for a little over the last month of pregnancy and did a free online course they offered. It opened up my mind and helped me to envision what a gentle birth would look like. It also was very relaxing to do. I was not able to experience that with my first labor and wanted to have a different experience. I am so fortunate my labor was easy, pain free, and I was empowered. I reseted during contractions, welcomed them, and had the most positive birth. What a gift truly! Thank you!!!
Issues with new update
I’m not able to play any of the longer hypnosis tracks. Very annoying for a paid service.
Great app but issues loading correct day
The app is great and very helpful. However it is a bit buggy. The days get stuck sometimes and don’t move on to the next day, or it doesn’t save the progress. Also it would be great if it was possible to customize the daily recommendations for example add a recording one would like to listen to every day, like pelvic floor exercises. I also think it would help to have favourites pinned to the bottom bar as it takes a while to find them in the app. Unfortunately there is no support or feedback option on the website.

Great meditation app
I use the free version of this app, but am planning to upgrade. The free version gives you the choice of just a few meditations, but you can scroll through the days. The paid version gives you access to many more hypnosis tracks. I like both the mindful meditations and the affirmations. It is nice how simple the interface is and how there are no ads even though I don’t pay for it.
Decreased my stars
Below is my first review because I really do like this app. It’s so helpful! But I feel like if I’m paying $11.99 a month I should be able to see the text so I can make a selection. If I click on the sections like hypnoses there are several blocks but I can’t read the text because the text is to big and wraps. I’m using an iPhone 12 and the most current OS. Secondly if I do the daily exercises for mindfulness there is a bell to signify the end or in hypnosis she will say after the count of 5 go about your day or drift to sleep but if I exit after the bell the number 5 I don’t get a little check mark saying I’ve completed it. Which is a minor annoyance if you are trying to work in your streak. Lastly the only reason I’m leaving these details in a review is because there is no place to report issues. Even on the website there is no place to report issues. Exactly what I was looking for! My first pregnancy I had a lot of fear. I knew with this pregnancy I wanted something different. The entire approach of each day focusing and training my brain has already made this pregnancy so much more relaxing.
I love this it’s so helpful not just for pregnancy
This app has helped me through labor. And birth. I’ve shared this with a few friends who are now pregnant It’s allowed me to be more relaxed with my life and my family Hypnosis is amazing to allow yourself to be the best you!

Gentle Birth GOT ME THROUGH
As someone who did not have the choice of an epidural due to complications with my pregnancy, I did a lot of research into how to cope with the pain of labor and delivery. This app SAVED me. I did the guided meditations throughout my last trimester to learn how to control my breathing and my body. The labor playlists were truly a godsend when I was in the worst stage of my labor. I’m not typically a holistic, meditation-type but in this situation I don’t know how I could have gotten through without it!
App glitchy
Literally impossible to enjoy the app. I have subscribed and I subscribed three times already and it works for a few days and then I try to access it and it says I need to pay my subscription to access anything. I have already paid. When I tap along to do so it says I’m already subscribed but I still continue to have no access. Very disappointing.
Helped me in labor
The app was confusing and not very user friendly for me, and even though I paid the monthly subscription it seemed like there were still things I needed to pay for or “unlock.” I didn’t have time or the patience for that. BUT that being said I did use this app and the 9 minute “GentleBirth Affirmation” download. (This was the only thing I used.) I found it helpful to listen to in the third trimester of both my pregnancies and even found myself repeating these affirmations during labor. Would I use it again? Yes, probably because now it’s a mental thing for me. Could I find something similar for free? Probably- but again, so I have the time or patience?
Wonderful birth mental preparation app
I am so in love with this app and the corresponding book. The daily exercises are incredibly beneficial in my mental birth preparation and the perfect complement to the physical preparation (exercises and mobility training) I am doing outside of this app. Would recommend to any pregnant person so they are able to be more calm and confident throughout the entire pregnancy journey.

Great app overall. - Bluetooth does drop out a bit - or it seems to recover less easily from Bluetooth temporary disconnections than other apps. - Would like to see a feature where you select the speaker output, similar to iOS Music and other apps. Sometimes it plays to wrong one even when AirPods are connected. - dark mode would be great for nighttime use! - would also like to able to download tracks for later, without playing them during download.
Helped me prepare for and get through a 30 hour labor
I listened to the sessions in a bath the weeks leading up to our delivery , during labor, and while navigating the challenges of breastfeeding. I tell every expecting mom I know that this helped me stay in a good mindset and connected with my little one throughout our labor and delivery.
Pointless unless you pay per month
You get very little out of this without paying a monthly rate. Disappointed.
Great
I find the app brilliant for helping to keep calm and relaxed- I like how there are a few options daily depending on what you have happening that day. It makes the reality of being pregnant more real than just a regular mediation and it is good to help you connect with your baby growing inside.
