I can’t see all accounts in one page, awkward to try to use in verification position to pay bills. how do I put it in landscape mode?
Ruined
I genuinely am considering completely switching banks because of the vomit-inducing changes made to the app. Mind you, FOR NO REASON. It looks like garbage, is horribly mangled, and is completely unusable. It went from being user friendly and simple to looking like AI slop.

everytime i open the app it keeps logging me out for some reason but other than that its good
Failure in app design UI/UX
If you’re looking to make payments, this is perfect. But if you want to actually look at your transactions, set up/cancel auto payment, this app is absolutely garbage for this. The app seriously needs better visibility for recurring payments/autopay management. I was trying to cancel a scheduled loan payment and could not find it anywhere in the app or website. The loan screen said “$0 payment due,” there were no obvious active transactions listed, and even the support AI only explained how to CREATE recurring payments — not how to cancel them. I ultimately had to call customer service to stop the payment. For a financial app, recurring withdrawals and cancellation options should be easy to find and clearly separated from normal account balances/payment due information. Customers should not have to dig through multiple menus or call support just to prevent an unwanted withdrawal.

Canned Responses
Any time a critical review is left on the App Store, the same canned response is copied and pasted by the dev - that’s disheartening and tells users that there is no intent to make the experience better.
MSGCU is home
There are many reasons a person needs a financial institution with merit. Michigan Schools has been there to answer financial questions even when it’s not in association with doing business there. Mortgage, loans and other accounts that are needed, all supplied at your convenience with web access anytime so when you travel it’s always available.
The new update sucks
There’s always some issue with this app and the update is just stupid. They need to revert back to how it was, fix the pending system, and just stay on top of things.
Face id
Face id never works. I always have to login with the password first to activate the face id capability. Sort of defeats the purpose.

Bill pay not mobile
Have your app developer log into power apps and change the bill pay page to mobile as well as desktop. It should be a few clicks so it’s not that hard.
Canton manager is great
I had a nightmare getting online. Henry Haidous at the canton branch spent fifteen minutes getting me all hooked up. I even decided to open a checking account. Great service.

Could have been much better with other features like Face ID login zelle etc

Horrible update
Went from perfect to now I’m searching how to pay my car note. This was unnecessary. Difficult to navigate for no reason.
Clean and functional, but feels slightly dated
Very easy to use the app, and it has a very clean ui. Some modernizations of the ui with some more modern styling conventions works easily bring this app up to 5 stars for me. Unrelated to the app, MSGCU is a fantastic credit union, with a very friendly and informative staff.
Issues with Face Recognition
It’s been months since face recognition has worked. The slide tab does not even let you reset. Please fix

Horrible New App
Horrible upgrade. Instead of easier access… It seems like way more scrolling through the app. The bill pay is extremely hard to do because you now have to pinch the screen to see the actual bill pay section. It’s easy to make a mistake in the bill pay section now. You should’ve left well enough alone. I’m going to change credit unions ASAP. .. and your suggestions from your app creators are of no help. Obviously, from all the other reviews… People don’t like what you did. Change it back.

Best Credit Union
I really appreciate this credit union! They helped me refinance my first car loan and helped me get my first unsecured credit card in the same day. Definitely planning to get my first home loan with them.
Terrible upgrade
This went from a perfect functioning mobile banking app to a horrendous desktop version that barely functions on a phone. If I wanted to use the desktop version on my phone, I would go to the website on my phone. Everything on this version requires pinching or zooming and multiple pop-up windows. Worst “upgrade“ you have ever done.

considering switching to a new bank after this app update. The app used to be so easy to navigate, pay bills, transfer money, and now the update has made things so much more complex. For reference, I am twenty years old. I know how to use technology. I can only imagine an older person trying to navigate this new update. It is such a drastic change. Usually, an “update” consists of bug fixes and maybe a new feature or two, but this is ridiculous. I’m sure there are some nice features on the new update, but having to change the entirety of what was once a user friendly app, to this, is crazy. Also the color scheme (which I know is changeable) is awful. Even the people who work at my credit union are upset about how awful the updated app is. I’m sure this update was seen by many people before it was approved, and I don’t know how everyone looked at it and thought it was a good idea.

Cannot load the new app…
I do not have iOS 16 on my iPad and am unable to download this new app. I can’t even get into my old one as it keeps telling me I need to download the new one!

New Update is Trash
The newest update ruined this app, everything on the screen is blue and it makes it incredibly hard to read. There are notifications from the app that stay at the top of the screen so you have to scroll past to get to your accounts. Transferring money is no longer easy, and again the app is very hard to read. No longer enjoy mobile banking.
