Worth it
I was hesitant to swap to “read your body” despite the raving reviews I was hearing time and time again. I used kindara for many years, and I am not one who likes change so I avoided it until purchasing a tempdrop. Now I have been using this app a few years, and it truly is the best charting app! It’s very user friendly, and you can tell the creators care about its users + the things we want to see. (In fact, I am writing this review right after they updated to add things its users have been requesting!) I was hesitant to pay for an app like this at first, since there are many “free” options, but it’s truly worth the small annual fee for its convenience, privacy, and intentionality.
They will unexpectedly trick you and charge annual subscription
Without any warning (also it's very unclear in the app as there is no place that tells you your subscription status) they will send you an annual renewal charge that is hard to reverse and refund. Shady practices. I love the app but for these reasons will not be using.

Great for charting, laggy and slow
I’ve used this app for 3 years to create comprehensive charts which have been incredible. I couldn’t fault this app until the past 4 months it has been extremely slow. Sometimes it takes 20 seconds to load between screens. This has never been an issue before this time.
Works w (almost) every method
This app is great and works with every nfp method!! Except Creighton but we all know that charting is intense. Anyway it’s definitely worth it to get the full paid version of this app! I’ve never understood my chart better!

No predictive feature
I was so excited to see the app’s recent update when I opened it today (26 Sept., 2022), but am astounded that RYB still has not added a predictive feature for upcoming periods. I messaged the app’s developers twice over the past year+ about this glaring omission, and was assured the second time that it was something they too were working on and personally looking forward to, and hoped to release in summer 2022’s update. How disappointing that this otherwise solid period tracking app is still missing one of the most essential features of period tracking. Am -I- missing something? If so, I hope the team will let me know so I can correct this review. If not, I’m finally going to bite the bullet, end my subscription, and go back to paper tracking.
Love the design, runs really slow
I’ve been using Read Your Body for several years. I love the interface, and have been generally pleased with it for most of the time. However, I’ve noticed the app really slow down within the last six months. I don’t know if it’s because I have two years worth of charts, or if it needs an update, but a temperature shouldn’t take a solid minute just to update. Pulling up my chart also takes a few minutes to load now, which has been frustrating. Hope they release an update soon.
Very unique & useful
The most unique thing about this app is that YOU interpret everything yourself. That is what stood out the most to me. It is very simple & easy to get familiar with. This has been the most cost effective BBT tracker I’ve found. The privacy is very assuring. Also worth mentioning, it’s the cheapest option I’ve come across . I highly recommend.
Disingenuous payment option! I want my money back!!
The app itself is good, I cancelled whilst expecting #3 however noticed that it said you get 30 days free and then get charged 18.99 a month. I had to double check some dates so signed up to see my last chart and then cancelled. It’s charged me already!! Even though it said you get 30 days FREE and can cancel anytime! I want a full refund, if not I shall not be returning to the app after delivery
Great with Tempdrop
I recently started getting into charting using my Tempdrop. And I love this app! The charting features are great and easy to use with a nice visual. I think there needs to be some more development into the Calendar features (such as showing love making, future periods and ovulation day once logged) and include also a monthly cycle visual overview that a lot of other apps have too! At the moment I am using two different apps to keep on top of my cycle as the calendar features are lacking here but hopefully that will improve with an update soon!
Partner notification button CAUTION
This is a great app for charting, but please warn the users or fix how the partner notification button works because I was testing it out and it sent the notification to my DAD of all people! 😭 How embarrassing. I’m totally mortified and hopefully no one else makes the same mistake.
Became super slow
I used to really like this app. Sadly, after recent updates it’s become too slow to use, so I’ve had to find a different app.
Awesome
Data privacy with robust features. What’s not to love! Worth the cost to use and support something so valuable.
Hidden behind paywall.
I was super excited to try this app because it was recommended to me by a friend. But the entire app was hidden behind a paywall. There was a mandatory page to sign up for a subscription and it had NO cancel or “leave” button. It was either sign up for the 30 day free trial or go back to the start. Disappointed.
Best app for fertility awareness tracking!
This app is easy to use, customisable for different FAM methods and is secure. I’ve found it to be slightly laggy at times but it keeps the data safe even in the event of this. I’d love to see some new features like stats on average temps in different cycle phases, stamps for Sensiplan, and more emojis available for additional tracking symbols. I also love that it’s made by women for women, and I’m very happy to support this business!

Taking ages to show chart
Since the update with the new design, the app has been extremely slow when you change from the data screen to the chart screen. I am starting to avoid using the app because of it. I think I might not renew the subscription if it stays like that.
Great for NFP
Been so helpful in tracking my fertility. I use the Marquette method. One thing I would love is if my husband could see my data on his device so he could be in the know. Right now I’m doing this as well as paper charting so he can see it but would be nice to have all on one app.
I want to end my subscription
The app won’t work and I have deleted it and install it back and still I can’t get access to the app please help
Love it and ‘Intimacy’ Category needs more options
There isn’t a good intimacy option for people who have sex with other people with vaginas. For me as a woman having sex with my wife, I don’t feel like there is a good option beyond the ‘other’ option, which is kind of a tough word thinking outside of this context.
Great content, poor execution
I got this app because I loved the way the chart and information only worked. It was really great for the first few years and then the app was updated and the app is a disaster now. Extremely slow loading of charts every time you flip between months which mean scanning through the data to see trends takes forever. The new version also changed the chart and I can no longer see the whole chart on my screen, I have to scroll through it which means I can’t get a full overview of the month in one snapshot. Go back to the previous version! It worked so much better!
Updated RYB App
I’ve been using the app since May. The version I started with was great! It was updated about a month ago and I’m not impressed. The icons on the daily charting all changed, which isn’t a huge deal but I thought the previous version was fine and I feel like I still haven’t adjusted to the new one. It’s been long enough I can’t entirely remember the previous version, but this new one feels like everything is bigger, so I have to do more scrolling to chart and notate in certain areas each day. But my biggest issue is how much slower this all is and how frequently it asks for my encryption key. I certainly don’t mind security, but whenever the prompt is there it seems to further slow down the apps ability to load the chart. It’s a small complaint, I know. But, compared to how quickly the previous version would load, this one seems slower. I’m also just not a big fan of change! But if the change had led to a more visually appealing design and kept the same speed, I wouldn’t mind so much. It’s just my opinion though! The purpose of the app and the affordability of the app are excellent and I will continue to use it. But hopefully the creators will see this review and reconsider some of the recent changes to the app - or at least speed it up!
Intuitive and Helpful
I wish I could pay these creators to make another app for general health, exercise, and foods. It so helpful to be able to track symptoms and correlate them thorough out my cycle

Good app for tracking
Love the ease of the app. Takes some practice but easy to use. There are a couple of weird quirks that don’t really affect usage but are annoying.
I know my encryption code, ok!
It asks me so often I’m frustrated. I’m already in the app. I confirmed that I remember it last time I used the app. This is not a banking app. This a cycle tracker. I do not need to retrieve any encrypted data. I just want to see what day of my cycle I’m on. Please and thank you!
Doesn’t sync to iPad
I’m struggling to get my phone and iPad to sync! Otherwise it’s great.
The Best
This app is easily the best app I’ve ever downloaded and worth paying for. Whether you are charting bbt or not, it makes it to easy to look at your cycle symptoms over a month and see patterns. I would recommend this app to anyone who gets a period and wants to track their health and lifestyle indicators.
terrible ui
The UI of the old version of the app wasn’t great and unfortunately the new app is even worse. The design is completely unintuitive, it’s hard to get an overview, it’s difficult to find settings as the same settings can be found in many different places and the icons don’t make sense (the icon for “Menu” for example is a cog wheel, which everywhere else usually means settings…). Please, hire a UX designer!!
Normally pretty great.
I like the LH differentiation for positives.. But it won’t let me integrate with the Tempdrop since the update. I login and use the password online just fine, but when I connect with readyiurbody it says it’s invalid and I KNOW I’m typing in everything correctly. It’s not a problem on Tempdrop’s end. It’s with this app. Idk why it won’t let me put in the email and password.
Won’t let me log in
I had to restart my phone from lack of space, so when I tried logging in it says to subscribe for monthly or annually; problem is I’m already subscribed and it won’t let me restore my purchase. A total waste of my money and time.

There is no other app like this. If you want to track all your symptoms, and have a customizable chart, this is the ONLY app that does it all! A Fertility Awareness Method ESSENTIAL!
It doesnt let me restore
I updated the app and now it won’t let me restore my purchase so I haven’t been able to use it for the past week or so. I love the app more than anything when it works though <3
Love it but it's kind of slow
I love this app and appreciate that it's marketed to a very small niche group of people so I only took off one star for this but it is so sloooowww! I get really tired of the "one moment while we work our magic" screen. I feel like it's a little too slow for what it is doing which is simply loading a chart. I do hope this is optimized later on but the last update was 3 months ago so I'm not feeling terribly optimistic. I guess I just hoped for better especially since it requires a payment upfront.

Comprehensive and easy to use! Well worth the price I pay annually
Premium version is worth every penny
I love the RYB app and I truly believe that if you know how to properly chart, then you will be able to attain your fertility “goals.” However, I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because I absolutely do not like the new update. You can no longer see the whole chart on the screen, you have to scroll. The print is too big now and it just looks too busy. I liked it better when it was simple.
Great for FAM Tracking
This app lets you customize which modern fertility awareness method you use or mix and match in case you were trained on more than one. It’s really helpful in providing you the tools to keep track of the health of your cycle.
Customizable
I really like how customizable the chart is! I got my chart almost completely set up the way I wanted! I do wish there was a way to change the icon on my Home Screen to something a little more subtle than a uterus on a book. I would just like the option to be more discrete. I also would like some more emoji options, I use a charting system with plus signs and negative signs and I am unable to find those emojis to chart with.
