Accesses photos without permission
This app wants it all, address, phone, gps location, camera access and without asking accesses your photos. After all that wouldnt register a simple managed switch because of US feature denial. Works in the rest of the world but in the US you have to pay a hikvision installer to do it (or a remote technician) Works better on nvrs and cams. But the thing is so full of ads, cant click twice before a link trys to make you buy some add on service. I bought the gear, isnt that enough?

The best
Poor performance for money
Why is it that when it was free it was amazing and now you’ve got to pay for setting privalidges it’s now absolutely useless! Can’t even set the time on a recorder remotely! Shocking
Comprehensive system
The system is really great and durable. There are some basic keys that I could not reach such as rebooting the system and checking the IP address remotely is not available. Sometimes the user would like to suppress all or part of the system and there is no suitable keys that could do that job.
Connection and ops
The connection to sites settings is too slow and can not make modifications to settings. Its always fails

Don't work
I'm trying to set up some 4K clourvus But it asks for verification after scanning the qr code The sticker has no verification number like it's shows a example on hikvison help site. It sets up on Hik-Connect ok but can't choose h265 or record to sd card. Was told don't need separate nvr Anyway does hikvision have a contact number to work out issues?

Gone off
Keeps going offline and then won’t go back. Keeps saying you need code. ,,, have given up waste of money.
Latest update broken
Useful software but the latest update seems to have broken advanced events. Some are now missing such as line crossing and intrusion detection. Without being able to access these it’s impossible to adjust settings such as sensitivity.
