Won’t stop asking me to login
Got this to share my podcast via RSS feed. Have now done this eight times. Each time getting a little pop up confirmation, sharing my phone number, claiming my podcast and still it just stops. Confirms claimed podcast then just stops and fails to proceed. Sort this nonsense out

Huge caveat
This would be my favorite podcast app of all time but there’s a big where I can’t select seasons past season 6. There’s no way to scroll further. If this could be fixed it would be a 10 star app for me.
UI quirkiness but decent ideas
Fine idea for an app, but low usage hurts ideas such as the recommendations section and the overall social media aspect. The big UI concern is that the all screens can be zoomed in and out. It is way too sensitive and unnecessary in many situations for this to be allowed. Having a static zoom level would tremendously improve the UI instantly.

And this was the worst of them all
Terrible
Terrible app. Podcasts don’t refresh after release for hours. I listened to a podcast live and it didn’t show up on Goodpods until the next day. Uninstalling.
Too slow
I wanted to like it but the app is too slow. New episodes would take ages to show up and episode playback controls are glitchy too. A shame!
Social podcasting
Really the only podcast platform with a sense of community and recommendations from peers. It really is the Goodreads of podcasting.
Horrible UI/UX
Way too many personal questions. AI is a waste of time.
Clunky
I like the main features and the aspiration to be a Goodreads for podcasts. However, the overall impression is quite clunky, and the app is lacking in finesse.
Constantly glitching
Not a great UI to begin with and the past week it’s just not worked at all. Will sit endlessly buffering, or ‘play’ when it’s loaded but the podcast doesn’t actually play at all. Unfortunate since Apple Podcasts is trash and takes up huge amount of space for no reason. Wish this would get better.

Unwanted AI
Title says it all. Why do we need AI crammed into every single app. Disappointed to see it here. Won’t be using it going forward.
Great Podcast App with Room to Grow
Goodpods is a really solid podcast app — the interface is clean, the recommendations are genuinely helpful, and I love how easy it is to discover new shows through the community. It’s definitely one of the better apps for finding content that matches your interests. That said, I’d love to see broader device support in future updates. Adding compatibility for iPad, Apple Watch, Amazon Echo, Fire TV, and an Alexa skill would make the experience even better and more accessible across all my devices. Overall, a great app with huge potential — I just hope they expand support soon!

Asked for too much info
I’ve been using the Podcast app for years because it was easy to use until they started adding popups and having to skip apps which was not ideal when driving. I searched for a free app and found yours. I’m not a podcaster but I am an avid listener. That said signing up for your app was getting a little ridiculous IMO. After selecting my favorites, I could not go on until I picked 3 strangers, or, sent a text to 3 people in my contacts. Why?? I immediately deleted the app.
They removed groups
I signed up for this app to use the groups feature for organizing a podcast club. But they removed that feature from the app in v5. The UI is buggy and clunky. But overall this is a promising app for socializing with fellow podcast listeners.

Too complex to register
Too many prerequisites to use the App.
Problems right out the gate
Every time I try and open my profile, it says a problem has occurred. Deleting and reloading doesn’t work. Not a great start.

One small issue that ruined the experience
Let me make it clear that I really like this app. The design is beautiful and minimalistic without being boring, and it works really well. It’s not invasive with advertisements, and it’s easy to search and do what you need to do. But it does have one problem: It refuses to keep podcast episodes in the order in which you sorted them. This means that your queue does not automatically go to the next episode in the podcast. It also means that when you hit “back” in order to pick the next episode of the podcast, you instead have to spend time resorting it away from best episodes and newest episodes, then scrolling, to find your place again. This may not sound like a big deal, but it got incredibly annoying after the first six times. Without a doubt, I would give it five stars if it didn’t have this particular annoying behavior. Here’s to hoping they fix this in the future.

Let’s face it, there are tons of podcasting apps out there. I personally prefer Goodpods because of its ease of use and how they really seem to rally behind podcasters to help them grow. I also love the user interface. Keep up the great work!
Bad
It’s like the devs tried to make it a social media app that also plays podcasts. Playlist functionality is nonexistent. There’s no option to add every downloaded episode to a playlist, nor is there a way to delete every played episode. It also goes back to the first episode in the playlist every time an episode ends, so I have to manually select the next in line.

1 sucky feature ruins all
an example of one awful mistake designer made causing otherwise decent app to be useless. in this case, do a search. click on a search result to check it out. do t like it so click back. THE SEARCH RESULTS ARE GONE. you have to retype the query.the designers don't give a shout about UX
