This was one of the best game I have ever played. I need more of it, I played it back in 2020 and I gotta say I am still coming back to it, I really hope they update it. I am sure it will we very very successful
Absolute cash grab
I really wanted to play a game with the same vibe as Elmwood Trail and the internet suggested this one. I have no idea how the game is highly rated. I’m interested in the story but you have no chance of ever playing it. Every 2 minutes you have to complete a repetitive, uninteresting and difficult game that has nothing to do with solving clues. Once you inevitably fail 3 times you have to wait for a cool down to attempt again. The game is virtually unplayable without purchasing the overpriced in game currency. Such a shame for a game that could’ve been really good if you ever had the chance to actually play it. Don’t waste your time.

I realized I never reviewed this game. I loved it so much! It's one of the rare phone games that actually has a true storyline. Even the mini games are fun, even if frustratingly hard at times.

отвратительная, мерзкая, бесячая игра. к сюжету ноль вопросов, я еще не допрошла, но какой имбицил придумал сделать основой этой игры ТРИ В РЯД!!!! я думала это умная игра на логику и мышление, в итоге все завязано на тупорылых прохождениях уровней три в ряд, еще и сделано отвратительно, все маленькое, постоянно нет ходов. все зависит чисто от удачи, хотя я хорошо умею играть в эту игру в нормальных приложениях. у меня свободная минутка, я хочу перед сном проходить сюжет и решать головоломки, но вместо этого я получаю непроходимые без удачи уровни тупорылой бессмысленной три в ряд, от которой уже прорешав три уровня голова болит и на сюжете уже вообще ничего не соображаешь. забрасывала эту игру раз сто из-за этой тупой привязки к этой такой же тупой игре. еще и уровни в неадекватном количестве надо проходить, три минуты сюжета и снова этот бред проходить. нет никаких улучшений хотя бы, чтобы можно было покупать и там фишки местами менять или чтото. никак эти уровни не пропустить. ненавижу и ненавидела разработчиков на каждом уровне три а ряд, сосчитайте сколько их и предположите, сколько раз вы были посланы.
REMOVE THE MINI GAMES PLEASE
The game itself is pretty good but the mini games lowkey mess up the whole vibe of it I had to delete it 3 time and restart just because of the mini games a humble request to the developers please either remove these mini games or have an option of SKIP after a certain tries thank you. 🥲
Fun, but a small problem..
This game is really fun and the story is really interesting. I’m enjoying it so far, but there’s a small, very frustrating problem: the minigames. I’m all for puzzles and matching up blocks, but the minigames are just frustratingly hard. Plus, the limited lives and the low amount of moves you get to complete the minigames just makes it worse. Could you maybe fix the difficulty of the minigames? Or maybe give us more moves and unlimited lives? It would make it more fun and engaging because the minigames just take too long to complete. I can’t even get past episode two because of them.
Mini games are a pain!
Love the actual game and story line, but I spend more time trying to get through mini games than actually experiencing the story. I probably spend twice as much time on the mini games than the actual game even though I paid for the multimedia pack. Kind of disappointing and makes me less driven to finish the game, which sucks because the story line itself is so interesting and creepy and fun
I LIKE the Mini Games
Unlike other games, the mini games are actually pretty fun and help go with this game because of the many times skips and such for characters. I hate the other review that said that they just wanted to play the game cause that’s literally a part of it lol.
Paywalls and Minigames
Core features locked behind a paywall and playing mini games is exhausting. I don’t mind paying for micro transactions when they make sense. Here it just doesn’t. Scriptic is a much better option in terms of gameplay. The dialogue is kinda “meh” and I lost interest fast due to being thrown into a story that made zero sense to start off with.

Can’t spend credits?
Think it’s abit silly playing 3 mini games for 1 piece of info& the fact you can’t view the media without spending actual money, I thought would’ve been able to at least use credits but there’s no way to like redeem them?? Maybe mines just glitchy but it’s such a shame as it’s a real put off to the game as there’s plenty other games similar to this that you can view the media etc without spending real money, maybe this can be fixed? Seriously debating on deleting the game just over this feature it’s a shame cos the story seems quite interesting but this just annoys/puts me off altogether, I don’t normally write negative reviews but thought it might provide some helpful feedback for the game production maybe watch videos to redeem or by playing the mini games to enable it as a free option?

Problema no carregamento
Eu realmente gosto desse jogo e já joguei várias vezes, mas alguns bugs começaram a ocorrer. Mensagens de erro do icloud no próprio jogo aparecem na minha tela. Não consigo avançar no jogo. E agora não pode nem ser carregado para entrar.
This app isn’t actually free
This isn’t a free to play app. The images aren’t available unless you pay £10 and even then that’s a discount. The “bejeweled” games are ridiculous and constantly begging for money if you run out of lives, getting increasingly harder to the point of being unplayable and making you wait hours to be able to play again if you don’t pay. Also, the story really isn’t that great. Or, maybe it is but the massive waits makes it seem silly. I understand people deserve to be paid, but this game is massively overpriced and shouldn’t be marketed as free if it takes most of the game away and just leaves the bones. Bad, bad game.

Not cool
I was excited to find another game similar to a favorite of mine while waiting for it to release the next episode. That was short lived when you begin the game and it’s about 30 min worth of chat which is a lot for an intro that could have just been a short video, but once the first clue comes in you have to pay to hear it. Huge bummer! Make it a paid game then. Deleted!
Hate the mini game!
I have a love hate relationship with this game.. I love the actual gameplay but hate the mini game. Unfortunately you can’t play the actual game without passing the mini game levels. The levels are too hard and after a while my eyes start mixing all the colors so I end up with anxiety and have to close out of the game entirely. Would be nice if the different colors also had different shapes so they wouldn’t melt into each other.

I usually prefer paid games bc I dont like ads and respect the work of developers BUT this game is an ordinary three-in-row game with an ABSOLUTELY FRAUDULENT SCRIPT that literally forces you to spend money on the last moves! A detective story is just a cover for this money scam and mostly consists of mindless chatter. I’ve never seen such a brazen deception! I’ve already spent more than $30 just for… I don’t even know WHAT. Don’t download this!!!

Interminable
I found the dialogue plodding; very Gen Z- full of half thoughts and unfinished sentences. The match 3 mini games are INTERMINABLE. Maybe it gets better after the first chapter, but I'm not hanging around or spending another dime to find out.

so far so good, been playing for half an hour and got to a video call. i struggle with audio processing so i couldnt tell what i was being told. if there was an optional subtitles feature on things like voice message, video calls etc i would be able to rate this a 5! 5/3/25

Just let me play the game
I would love to review this game based on its storyline and characters, but the terrible forced mini-games you are required to complete every few minutes literally prevent me from playing the game itself. I happily paid for the multimedia pack and thoroughly enjoyed what little story I have gotten to experience, but the game actively prevents you from playing it. The match-3 puzzles are designed to fail, and with a limited number of lives and a very long cooldown before you regain said lives, it sometimes takes days to progress to the next crumb of story. Five minutes later, and the cycle repeats. The only way to guarantee a smooth progression is to pay for overly expensive in-game currency. It’s such a shame because the story seems so interesting. I truly want to play. As it stands, however, I regret spending any money on this obvious cash-grab.
Fun but Frustrating
I am enjoying the story and mystery so much! The puzzles are annoying. They are hard to pass, and I play a LOT of puzzle games and visually they are very busy so it’s hard to see the different color beads. You only get through one text before you have to beat 2 very hard puzzles and then you run out of lives. The purchase of more tokens is way too expensive. I just want to play the game.

Good game but…
I think the story of this game is fantastic. But the mini puzzles become too hard and I will spend days trying to collect 1 out of 3 stars. This for me, ruined an otherwise fantastic game. There isn’t even an option to skip. So I’ve now had to stop playing the game and find another.
Best game ever
I am not the person who writes review to any apps or games. But this game, i have no words. First i was hesitate to play this game. Chatgpt suggested me to play this game and gave it a shot. Over the each episode i get addicted and started believe they all are my friends and i have to save them. Ugh, it’s like tv series but being within and experiencing everything by yourself. I really appreciate the creator of this game and effort they put on everything. Everything feels so real. I will say this is the best game ever, even the other games made by everbyte cannot bit duskwood❤️🫶
Is there a “game” or just endless text threads?
I played this “game” for an HOUR, and got to do absolutely nothing but sit through endless text threads that convey no information. And to get even that far, it took 4 rounds of tedious minigames and ads. I’m happy to pay money for good games, but I’m not going to pay for this to see if it gets any better. This setup is just offensive. If you believe in your game, give a decent free trial, instead of trying to frustrate people into paying. This is the style of game I like to play, and I would have happily paid if I could have a played a decent demo to see how the game actually worked.

Bad puzzle design
Started out as a good game and it was fairly interactive,but as you progress you get so little story interaction between section where you have to do X amount of cloud decrypting is ridiculous. I had 3 texts from 1 character then had to do another 3 puzzles that are so badly designed and overly complicated with so few move amounts for what you need to do for completion that it’s down to pure luck unless you spend an obscene amount of coins to get 5 extra moves that don’t even help. The puzzles are purely a honey trap for money spending, 20 moves to get 2 keys from 1 end of the puzzle board to the other while you can only move blocks up and down is such a stupid design or to gather 60 cubes of 3 different colours, wasted 50 hearts on 1 puzzle stage. If it weren’t for the really stupid and practically luck based puzzles the game would actually be enjoyable but no developers have to fill it with honey traps for people to spend money

Cool concept, well executed. But so many ads, pointless mini games that take forever and more and more ads! Elmwood trail is a better version. I can’t even close the ads having to refresh each time. Annoying.

Awful
Each section takes forever to complete. Plus you have to do mini games to continue in the actual game. These mini games are unbelievably difficult to pass once you get further on. Then the credits cost SO much money for basically none.
Great story but annoying/boring mini games
I’m loving the story and the mystery, but the “match 3” mini games you are forced to play in order to progress the story are mind numbingly boring and frustratingly hard at times. This really takes you out of the immersion of the story and kinda makes you want to give up. I can see why some people give up on the game. I would rather see a countdown timer to progress the story that can be sped up by playing the mini games (making them optional) or even have an in-app purchase to speed up the timer. Forcing these mini games on players who just want to play the story is a bad move.

the storyline, plots etc are very good but why the hell do you have to complete a million mini games just to play for 2 mins?? Then re do the whole game just to play for 2 mins again I deleted the app for this reason the games are wayyyy too hard

it’s a good game when you’re actually playing the main story, but you see about 5 texts then have to play a mini game, some of which can be really difficult, when you run out you have to wait ages until you can actually play the game again. 1/4 is the actual story the rest is just mini games! apart from that though the game is actually quite fun.

Boring and weird
I don’t think i could even finish an hour of gameplay, the conversations are too long and the typing is too slow then the response options are so different from each other but you get the same response from the other end it’s weird and not coherent at all.
Fab game, BUT
I paid to get premium content, then find out I have to spend more money when I lose all my game coins with the match 3 puzzles the I don’t beat. Sure, I can ‘earn’ points, but, I still have to make a purchase. I feel like it is akin to a gambling if you have to keep paying to play really tricky match 3puzzles. A shame, when you have already bought into the full game play - I would have paid more for the game. Can’t finish it without waiting for time to pass, if I don’t have the financial means to buy more ‘in-game’ coins. Syntax has a few errors, which is ironical as the character picks up on the ‘intended’ ones. Like I said, fab game, takes a while to go through the ‘in-game’ dialogues - nice concept, in principle, and lovely to have played.
Too many ads!
The game is good and I intend to stick it out to the end. The issue is all the ads and they keep getting stuck so I have to close and reopen the app to continue. Removing the ads would make this a lot better as the mini games to continue the story are so frequent.

It’s an amazing game, and I love the characters and the story just the unnecessary mini games completely ruin it like this game is supposed to be about a murder and we’re playing games in between. It’s just annoying.
