Firmware update does not work
The app can detect my Daikin air conditioner and shows the unit’s IP address, current firmware version V1.0.3, and normal network information. However, whenever I try to update the firmware, it fails with the message: “Firmware update failure – Fail to perform firmware upgrade as unit is disconnected from network.” This is confusing because the unit is clearly connected to the Wi-Fi network and is still visible inside the app. The app version I am using is 2.2.85 (306), Region: Malaysia. Please fix the firmware update function or provide a clearer explanation of what network requirement is failing. It would also be helpful if the app could show whether the problem is with the router, internet connection, Daikin server, or the Wi-Fi module itself. The air conditioner can still be detected, so the current error message is not very helpful. I hope Daikin can improve this in a future update.

The app is getting easier and better but please add night mode because I’m always blinded by the app when I’m trying to adjust the settings in the middle of the night 🥀
Usage features
Why I cant check my previous day usage anymore? Before this, when I click on current or previous day, it will show that specific day/date usage. It is not working anymore. Give back the features. The app also frequently error. My previous years of record also gone.
Data saver got bugs
Need to fix at the data saver pages some bugs need to fix. Mnot able to select or view timers.
Bad update ever (2.2.85)
Everything was great until this latest (2.2.85). Usage monitoring chart guideline is gone like temperature on the left and kilowatt on the right and day or date on bottom. Even worse we can’t even click for detail or compare anymore. Before we had everything useful and now only useless empty chart. I am not kinda person usually comment review on app store. But this one really hope developer brings back the future. Still giving you 5 star on this bad review as a daikin fan 🥲 in order you bring back the old functionality 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hi i frequent user of daikin apps to do basic remote on aircond. But today all my 10acs registered are not in the list. I tried to refresh but not working and written last update 09:08 at smart control tab and now is 11am. Pls advise
Always session gone
All my unit gone, solution need logout and login again to get back all my connected Aircorn, Infact long term, one of the Aircorn not able to connect again while other unit still can under same group, need delete and add back again very inconvenient
Daikin App error
Why does the app works like a cheap company? Why it’s always shows error to change the time settings? You said that the update is to resolve the issue. But it’s not.

Quick Timer Issue
Why the quick timer hard to move the number to set time
App error
I was on my way back home. I wish to cold down my room before i reach home. I open the app. Then the apps appeared error. And all registered appliance in smart control had been lost. The app ask me to register back my appliances in the smart control. Please improve your apps so.

Slow & Unresponsive After Latest Update
Everything has become so slow after the latest update, especially when setting the timer. It’s very laggy and sometimes doesn’t function at all. Please fix!
Schedule on off has limit
I cannot add auto on off schedule more that 7 slot within a day. Can you increase up to 10 slot? Also capability to lock all front panel button including on off

Good App, but Needs Fixes for Timer and Electricity Cost Features
Unable to set the weekly timer – This appears to be a bug, as the weekly timer cannot be configured. Electricity bill calculation is inaccurate – The app does not allow users to customize the electricity rate (cost per kWh) to match the actual rates in the Philippines. As a result, the estimated electricity cost is inaccurate and less useful.
Working Remote App
At first I do not have expectations that it would work based on the previous reviews this app had. However after trying it, I successfully added my AC unit and can control it without problem. I added my unit via QR that is like a sticker under the indoor unit.
Quick timer not working & removed graph scale
Update#1: In this version you removed the graph scale and user cannot tap into graph column for details anymore?? Come on! I bought your products for convenience like the way you advertised! Now you removes the good functioning feature?! Update#0: I set the quick timer then a loading flashed saying “setting up timer” then “removing timer”. This results in my timer is not being set. Do your software test unit before publishing new update.

Need more effort for apps stability
Very often the apps will lost connection with their database it seems. All of sudden, all the aircond units become unavailable, profile becomes blank.. will need wait for days before it recover.
Pure garbage
When an app actually makes a device worse, it should be possible to rate it negative. Difficult to connect, then it will randomly disconnect. Not only that, you will need to delete and re-pair it. It will also give random commands to the AC unit, unrelated to what you’ve requested. It may change the temperature, but will then wildly change fan speed, louver direction or oscillation…when all you’ve done is change the temp. Yes, I followed instructions. I thought their remotes that come with the AC were bad, but they’ve really tried to make a horrendous app and they’ve succeeded beyond their wildest dreams.
