It took some time to get stats that help evaluate my health but it is good information. It notes what should be worked on and what is successful.

Great feedback. Won’t sync
Getting great details on my health progress. The beta fitness though won’t sync to my band since gi ware update and requires me to reboot my iphone daily.
Not that accurate.
Data is only 30%accurate. Moreover there is 99$ charge for a report.
Connection problems
We just purchased two bands and it seems like they’re measuring everything as promised. Unfortunately, the app doesn’t want to connect with the band very well. Every time I go back to the app after leaving it for some time, it disconnects the band and will not reconnect to it. The only thing I have found so far is to log out of the app and then sign back in. It seems to fix a temporarily and it updates my app. I hope there is a fix for this and I’ve contacted support for a resolution. Other than that, it seems to work fine so far.

Updates break this app on the regular
Health scores and weekly reports have been broken since the last update. The app is unreliable, even as a premium subscriber. What am I even paying for?

Overall, I’m quite satisfied with the Hume pod. The Hume band that I bought with it is still hit and miss. It under reports sleep. I also have difficulty integrating with the Strava app that I use on my bike. The integration with Strava, Apple health and Hume is clunky.
Not complete … and accurate !
I bought the full combo .. the plan , the pod and the band2.0. I was hopping for a great experience and precise data but in fact it doesn’t work as expected and to make a story short it is not precise sometimes missing data … it is a lots of money for something that is just average (-) I am so disappointed .. so think twice

I haven’t been able to log for over a month due to the Bluetooth not connecting to the app.

All gone wrong
I own both the scale and band and up until 4 weeks ago it was working fine then all of a sudden, no more sleep, activity or health analysis even though the band 2.0 is logging everything correctly. Reached out to support and they suggested updating to the latest app version but issues still exist. Waste of money.

Use Oura. This app ask you to rate the app while inside it, but won’t let you chose anything but 5 stars. Anything else errors. That should tell you all you need to know about Hume. Analytics are terrible and just estimations at best. Sleep metrics are where you see these averages the most. Nothing is an accurate measurement, just an estimate based on poorly collected telemetry.
Goals and bodyfat
I’d like to be able to set body fat percentage as a goal instead of just weight.
Not worth the money
The app needs work. When you log food on it, your only option is to take a photo and it never comes up correctly and you cannot physically change it. Also, cannot type in and log it manually. Also, sleep does not sync over. Scale is priced high, I’ve had a much cheaper scale that works better and gives the same information.
Hmmmmm
I'm a bit disappointed. As a nurse I have to wear the band around my ankle and it doesn't seem to register my steps (today I've done over 7k and Hume only registered 1k). This means that the data is associated with me being inactive which makes it inaccurate. 3 days in. Any suggestions?

I highly recommend the Hume Scale and I just started using the Hume Band. Learning valuable insight for my health goals
Poor customer service
The app does not update. And when I send a message to them, I get a bot reply saying I need to update. Then I get another message saying that it’s a known issue. My band has issues connecting sometimes and when I try to get customer service to help me. All they do is tell me that it is my responsibility to send a units back. That should pay for it. Stay away from this brand. Update. I got a reply. Now I will see if they’re really going to help me. Why did I have to bring my dirty laundry on here for all to see when they could have just replied to their support emails for help.
2.0 improved
Finding the 2.0 version an improvement over 1.0. Better ban, better understanding.
Band & Scale
Scale is great, band is hit or miss some days, sync issues. Would be nice to also have more options for tracking exercises.
Update since October 2025
It took a while to calibrate and with new updates, seems to be pretty stable and I just follow the trend

Data export is not possible
Let me take my data to another app!!! I paid for the scale, you cannot gatekeep the data just so i pay for subscriptions. Also data is often very inaccurate, how can my fat % vary by 2% in a matter of days?
Recent update sync issues
Last update was meant to improve sync issues but with the band 2 I have to keep closing and restarting the app as the sync function keeps hanging.
Measure it and improve
If contractors measure twice to cut once there’s a reason. Hume does this through our consistent use of the scale, weigh ins, and the band. All measures with precise actions to improve our health. It’s not a silver bullet but rather part of a Batman utility belt of health tools! Start today.
Could be better
Logging food intake is time consuming. There could be a way of using the same meals from previous days in a simple one tap instead of having to add in all the food/ingredients again. Nutrition and activity reports are not readily available even with the Plus subscription. Daily reports seem like repetition of each one with just the numbers adapted for the day.

Overall great. Wish it could be registered for different users on the scale. My phone will sometimes grab my husbands weigh in, even when I've weighed in for the day

confused
the band keeps losing it’s connection, and i am lighter and fitter but the body fat says i’m getting more not less. what’s the explanation. also when i tried to send the review. It took 3 attempts as it kept saying oops try again x3 so please give explanation in english for the readings and how we can make real changes
Great equipment
Very happy to track all body measurements on a daily basis. This equipment is an excellent and provides numerous body measurements to keep track of your goals.
Not Great
So initially the app was giving me sensible reports every week but once I left the free trial period it has all stopped working correctly. I wear the band correctly every night, no sleep report given for three weeks in a row, same with body composition and activity. I email am assured I am not doing anything wrong yet their app does not provide me with the insights it promises. Caution! an expensive investment that hasn’t delivered… emails to and fro have not resolved the problems.

Depuis que mon conjoint a réactivé son compte sur la balance, impossible pour moi de me reconnecter dessus. Malgré plusieurs tentatives où j’ai désactivé son compte etc. Pourtant sur l’ancienne application il y avait aucun problème. Si vous avez une solution, je suis preneuse !

Initially confused, thinking my scale was broke. YOU HAVE TO HAVE YOUR SOCKS OFF!!!. Once I realized this, every weigh in was flawless! Lots of interesting measures. Helps keep focus by being consistent with weigh ins.
Password issues
The amount of times I’ve tried to create an account — and it doesn’t like the Apple created ones for some reason “needs a number and a symbol” what symbol !?! Tried everything. Then went on website to change password that way but the app doesn’t acknowledge the password having been changed or whatever. Honestly such a massive hassle.
Would have been a 5 star
I would have left a five star rating , however, once you purchase the device you only get access for a few months once that trial is up you have to pay. It should be complete access for the first year then if you choose to keep using the scale after that then choose purchase the in app experience.

I love the band and scale, it’s very motivating to see the changes! I can see the where I am losing fat verses muscle. I’m sleeping better but I wish it alerted me with the battery is low.

Great Way to Track Trends
I have had a great deal of success with tracking trends in my habits using the Hume Body Pod. It isn’t perfect down to the .1 of a lb, but when my habits are better, the scale trends better. When they are worse it trends worse and I can see how my daily choices affect my body composition, heart rate, visceral fat, etc. I would recommend using this consistently for the best results.
Update broke hume band synch
Was fairly happy with the app but the latest update totaly broke the hume band synch hope they fix it because at the moment the band is useless. No way to get it to complete the synch process
Not very accurate but may be useful for some of the readings
I really enjoy the idea Hume have, I feel that, for the pod, there are some genuine areas that have trends I can track. The accuracy of the fat distribution for me is very off, but consistently so, which means I can use it for trends. The band has some real benefits but the blood pressure is way off with no change ever, so really not useful. I like the live tracking. I am aware the band is potentially very cheaply made, but it still gives me value. I really dislike that the app kept prompting a review but if you give any less than 5 stars it gives an error. In order to leave this review I had to press 5 stars, it then allowed me to proceed, and then I could adjust the star level appropriately. This does not sit well with me and I have seen other users state the same. For a company I would like to rely on to provide me meaningful health data, this practice is really not encouraging.
