As much as their equipment costs, you would think there would be a working app.
Great but update with flaws
Its a Great App, but After the Update there Are 2 Major flaws. 1. the Connection is Not saved and it doesnt stay allways on Like before, so you have to configure the ip address new every time. 2. before you could See Output gain to figure who is the One making Noise. Maybe its just us and you can help but besides Great App :)
Bring back groups
Some parts about the update are a little smoother but overall this update was a step back. I use it as a church drummer and previously heavily used the grouping feature. For example I had all the drum mics grouped, our leader and his guitar with click on another, all the instruments grouped, etc.. it’s mildly challenging now to scroll back and forth while playing. Seems to be a universally agreed upon this update needs an update.
The app was good when it worked
I enjoyed this app as many other apps like this when they worked most of them don’t work won’t allow you to connect wirelessly or with IP address assuming they’re not compatible with iOS 26 if the developer could please update their app so we musicians can continue using it
Ruined with update
The update has ruined this app. It no longer has meters for each channel that shows the signal levels. Change it back
It was great!
After the latest upgrade, everything went downhill. Please fix. All of the settings get reset after phone or iPad goes to sleep.

Need option to keep phone from going to sleep and needing to reconnect
I like the 2.1 update with more sliders on the screen at one time, but it is almost useless because the screen won’t stay on, and then I have to go through the whole reconnection process after the screen goes to sleep.
V2.1 better, but a request!
Thank you for the v2.1 update. Would it be possible to reinstate the feature where (prior to v2), when the app was open it remained in the foreground and prevented phones from locking, please?
Screen lock
Love the app. But since the update the screen automatically locks, which sucks when playing guitar on stage. The screen should stay on, please fix this. Thanks.
App does not stay active while
Major problem is the app does not stay awake while in use. The iPhone screen goes back into lock mode. There was no issue with that with the earlier version. Now suddenly, you have to turn around get a second to open your phone so you can make an adjustment. That’s not any good at all. While on a gig using both hands. The old version of the app stayed open on your screen without having to make any phone adjustments. Now every 30 seconds it closes out and it’s rather difficult in a life playing situation to have to put your password in every 30 seconds.
iPhone app not working
Used on the IPad works wonders (as a drummer it helps on the iPad) As a guitarist I use my iPad for music and wanted to use my iPhone for this app but it won’t scan for local stuff
Please Fix🚨
New update is trash. Screen doesn’t stay open like the old version when it closes you have to reconnect. Also, when you separate your mix in 4 categories, it doesn’t allow you to have those faders in one group. lastly. choosing your mix before you went into it makes it easier to navigate. it kept from having someone accidentally messing with the wrong mix settings.
This WAS a great app.
Before this last update, the app was almost perfect. After the update, we lost the audio meter on individual channels, we lost all preexisting EQs, the volume on each channel has to be at unity or higher before you can even hear the audio clearly. Just leave well enough alone.
O melhor APP para Midas e Behringer
O melhor APP, mais prático e funcional para monitoramento de áudio e ajustes de palco. Você mesmo controla os volumes no seu fone, e ele Permite que todos tenham acesso, evitando aquela situação chata de ter que chamar o técnico de palco toda vez. X32, XAir, Midas. Vai sem medo!!!
If trash was an app!
This app was pretty good until the last update! What needs to be done to get it back the way it was.

Update made UI worse
No complaints about the connection to the board (seems to have stabalized), but the user interface is a downgrade compared to the previous version. Having the bus level alongside the mix view makes it frustrating to swipe and see more channels.
Being back the VU meter
I like the update - clean and works nice - BUT I CANT SEE THE SIGNAL ANYMORE SHOWING THE GAIN! Please bring back the level meter / VU meter thanks.

New update is a downgrade
We use this for worship services & it used to remember our IP address but now has to be manually recentered each time. Frustrating!
Good, but an update is long overdue
I use this app regularly and it does an ok job but it has a couple of bugs which are annoying and visually it’s not brilliant to look at. An update is long overdue
New update stinks
Now everytime you close the app or phone goes to sleep you have to manually enter the IP address… So frustrating you can’t get to your mix right away now.. entire worship team has ear monitor issues now

Huge step backwards. Horrible app
The update is horrible. The groups are gone and it doesn’t repo d to touch anymore. Made a huge step in the wrong direction. This is a mixer that is very popular and not sure If you guys did any testing prior to the release of this new app. Please fix.
Super App und bitte noch weiter verbessern
Wir haben als Liveband die App von unserem FOH Partner empfohlen bekommen, damit wir unseren Monitor mix selbst einstellen können. Soweit funktioniert das sehr gut und der Soundcheck gelingt auch viel schneller und komfortabler. Damit das während des Konzerts noch besser zu handhaben ist, wäre wünschenswert, wenn man die Anzahl der angezeigten Kanäle und somit auch die Größe der Regler anpassen könnte. Je nach Endgerät ob iPad Smartphone etc. könnte man das dann übersichtlicher gestalten und das Display besser ausnutzen. Alle Regler bitte als Schieber gestalten, damit man den eingestellten Pegel besser sehen kann. Dann wäre noch super, wenn man seinen Mix offline bearbeiten könnte. Zum Beispiel backstage wenn die wlan Verbindung nicht mehr vorhanden ist aber man noch Änderungen vornehmen möchte. Denn auf der Bühne muss es meist schnell gehen.
Undesirable update
Tried to go through the contact options, but those aren't working, so sending info through review instead. Could we please get an update that overrides the phone's auto-lock function like it used to? Each time it locks during practice or performance I have to unlock the phone, I then have to re-select the board, transfer parameters, then go to the right sliders. This new layout is not my favorite.
Funções não mantidas na nova versão
O visual está ótimo, mas não é possível ver o sinal em cada canal como antes. Incluam novamente era muito útil para feedback de sinal nos canais.
Super App
Nachdem die bestehenden Apps doch etwas in die Jahre gekommen waren und die Verbindung oft nicht sonderlich stabil war läuft es mit der MX-Q endlich wieder richtig gut. Zudem ist sie deutlich moderner und hat eine bessere Usability als die Vorgänger. Gut gelungen ist auch das Feature mit den MCA Gruppen. 5 Sterne - weiter so 👍🏻
Cannot filter mixes to MCA assignments anymore
The latest update is unusable. We used to be able to filter out the mixes according to MCA assignments and now that is not available. Have to scroll through all the channels to get to the ones desired. Please reinstate the filters! Thank you

Update the bug fixes
This was poor execution on the company's part. Hundreds of churches use this app. No warning or email was sent to users about the new update. So, on Sunday, it caused major issues for people. No video on how the new format works. The touch screen options are frozen half the time now. Next time please test and fix the bugs before rolling out an upgrade. For those who are still struggling with this app. I’ve tested another app called MXBus. It synced up perfectly to the X32. It cost 3 dollars for the advanced features. It’s way easier to navigate and you have EQ options. Plus for those who use an iPad. One button by tapping up or down will move your entire mix up or down. The channels are split into two groups now. So you don’t have to scroll endlessly to get to your other channels. And you can customize what channels you want per mix bus. Until they fix this app. We are moving on to MXBus.
Good app ruined by updated interface
This is a good app, solid connectivity and lots to really like about the functionality, however the new update (2025) has ruined the interface. The previous interface showed the signal strength bars and was a lot clearer in terms visibility of channels, etc. - I hope the developers see this feedback and change it, because the underlying features of the app are great - but the new interface is terrible and really impacts how usable the app is, particularly for quick changes when on stage.

Nachdem Behringer und Midas ihre Apps verkackt haben, hätte ich ja nicht gedacht das nochmal eine gescheite App raus kommt, vielen Dank dafür. Eine Sache hätte ich aber gern noch. Auf der MCA Seite hat man nur die Rollen Regler, kann man da nicht auch die normalen Regler einfügen. Man hat bei den Rollen keine wirklichen Linien wo man sich orientieren kann. Bei der Behringer und Midas App konnte man in den Einstellungen selber entscheiden wie man es haben möchte. Wäre cool wenn ihr das auch implementiert.

Super App
Super App und deutlich besser als die Alternativen. Das einzige was ich noch super fände und deswegen gibt es nur 4 Sterne wäre, wenn man bei den Fadern noch den Pegel in dB sehen würde, wie bei der MonitorApp von Yamaha. Weiter so!

Canais não estão modulando, ou seja, não dá pra saber se o instrumento ou a voz está saindo de fato, e se sair do aplicativo a conexão perde, tem que conectar novamente, transferir parâmetros...
Can’t connect to the x32
The app won’t find my x32. Anyone the same problem? Old app works well though.
New update is awful
We use this app for our singers’ in ear monitor mixes. This allows them to use their own personal device and control their mix bus. This newest update moved so much, and hid critical things that has left many singers confused. Unfortunately this confusion has led to multiple people changing the wrong mix bus and even the main mix on several occasions. We are now hunting for a different solution as this app can no longer be used in its current state. Horrible UI redesign.
Works Well
Nice not to have to enter the desk IP address anymore. Would be better if you could restrict access to certain mix busses with a a simple pass code lock like in the Mackie Master Fader app, as several have accidentally adjusted the wrong mix. Plus, option to keep screen on would be useful. Still a decent app though.
Terrible update
At a gig right now, and I updated the app without realizing that the groups are now gone, and the metres are now gone. It wasn’t broken before, please restore functionality to groups and meters.
Upgrade made is less user friendly
I’m using the MX-Q app for over 3 years and have always had a good experience. However, after the update to version 2.0, a few key features were removed, which in my opinion is a downgrade. First, with the app running, the phone screen no longer stays on as long as the app is open. Instead, it follows the phone’s general screen timeout settings and turns off automatically. Even worse, whenever you wake and unlock your phone, the app needs to reconnect to the mixer, which takes a while — noticeably longer than in the previous version. Second, I miss the level meter on each channel; it was very useful to check whether we were truly connected to the device. Despite these two points, I believe the addition of a mute button was very good and much needed. If the first two issues I mentioned could be addressed, the app would become much more user-friendly.

Can’t save manual IP entry
Rescan doesn’t work, so I have to enter the IP manually, but then I can’t save the manual entry, so I have to enter the IP manually each time I leave & go back into the app or if my display times out.
Auto-connection is good however...
Auto-connect is a good feature. Tried using it this morning and the screen wouldn’t stay on whilst using the app (goes into lock screen mode£ - are you able to update it so that it keeps the screen on the whole time please?
