Still not working
I’ve redownloaded the newest version several times and it still leaves me stuck on the loading menu before crashing and taking me to the iPhone Home Screen. It’s been like this for about 1.5 months for me
Unicode font support
It would be great if the text notations supported U+1D100 - U+1D1FF (music symbols) and a bonus would be U+1680 - U+169F (ogham ᚋᚌᚍᚎᚐᚑᚒᚓᚕᚁᚂᚃᚄᚆᚇᚈᚊᚖᚚ᚛᚜). Being able to note these would help immensely. While editing notations, many of these are supported, especially ogham. However, when you are done editing, they turn into boxes. Appreciate the app!
Absolutely awful annotations feature
Annotations feature is the most buggy and clunky thing I’ve ever used in an app. The app is great for isolating parts during practice in the week for Sundays and on Sunday it’s great to have if you are an instrumentalist (other than the drummer, I’ll get there) who needs a chord chart. The synchronization feature for Sundays is great. When making annotations on song charts, the app makes it so you can’t put them anywhere but on the lyrics and with the limited space to annotate and awful navigation which will skip and think you want to add a note in annotation mode if you try scrolling, it really becomes an awful experience. This means if you are a drummer like me who wants to input transition notes into a song map or lyric rundown, you’re gonna have a bad time. Then when you get to Sunday service, many time annotations don’t load at all, meaning any important notes you had to remember are privy to being forgotten and manually switching to showing the annotations mid service is not a viable alternative many times. The app during personal practice has many and countless unintuitive interactions as well (it took me 2 hours of using it with just an original mix instead of what I wanted which was the part isolation that I had to pull up the card while playing the song to get the options you see for playback in the screenshots on the App Store listing for example… I’m a very tech versed guy as an app developer myself so I know how to use apps). App is good when it works, but most times doesn’t. This 100% needs way more work before I’d be comfortable using this in a Sunday service, luckily I’m a drummer and can make my part up if annotations I wrote don’t show up but other instrumentalists at my church have to use this and it was a clunky transition process to configure and took way to much digging to figure out how to actually use the app due to its unintuitive and awful UI/UX.
Suddenly won’t work
When I try to open it for practice, it doesn’t open. ChatGPT took the data from my phone and indicated the app is taking too long to launch and my phone shuts it down. Any assistance on this weird sudden app behavior?
Super adaptive, intuitive, and profesional, also a lifesaver
When I first got this app, I was a little worried, this is because we had very limited resources as a new church; however, as a guitarist and worship leader, I was aware we needed tools to help give are musicians the best experience possible to be able to focus on God during the worship service but still play with excellence; ChartBuilder was the answer: ChartBuilder has every song I have looked for, it has many languages and is very adaptive, with it syncing in real time with the setlist we can change keys and it auto updates on the chart, if we ever need to play a new song because the pastor or prayer team requested it ChartBuilder has the charts and ability to adapt. Whether you are a church that has all the songs ahead of time or one always changing throughout the service ChartBuilder has everything.
App still crashing
App still crashes on the launch screen. iOS 26.3
Love it… scrolling needs improvement
1) Can we change the way it scrolls? On songs with longer sections (like a chorus), sometimes it will scroll to the next section too early while you still need to see the next few chords or last lines of that section. 2) After making annotations, they do not reappear if you are scheduled for the same song in the future. It would help if they reappeared every time you are assigned a song you’ve previously played.
Poor performance and constantly buggy
Good bones, nice ideas, but this app is constantly buggy which makes it completely unreliable for consistent use. It takes minutes or hours to sync changes when made, sometimes even delaying for days. It means I wait until a few days have passed after a leader makes a setlist final before writing my notes, because otherwise your notes may be deleted if the song version changes. The handwriting support is poor, not smooth at all, making it hard to read. It’s buggy, laggy handwriting means you’ll be writing a note and it will turn into gibberish because you went too fast, or it will jump ahead when writing a note and listening at the same time, meaning you constantly need to pause songs to write notes. You can’t move the vertical scrolling screen with a finger when taking notes with Apple Pencil, you are required to use the play scrubber at the bottom. Would be a simple fix to have a setting to turn off finger writing input and only use pencil. The pause play button is way off to the side edge of the screen, and the hitbox is extremely small, meaning misses are easy to make, and music will keep playing when you need it to stop. And the library takes a very long time to load (sometimes literally minutes) each time when selecting a playlist, so good luck if you need to load one urgently. Also, don’t let your screen fall asleep if you are connected to a host and want to maintain the connection. It will drop (like during a sermon) meaning when you go back on stage, you must reestablish the connection, which can take minutes of fiddling around, which live settings don’t allow for. Using this app is a risk, and one that will bite you 1/10 times you use it, even if you know all the tricks to avoiding its shortcomings. Have a backup if the set is important.
Not working
The app is great but all of a sudden it stopped working. It worked properly for few months then out of the blue the app won’t start up and it just closes on its own. Nothing seems to help.

Many pros, a few cons
As a music director this app is great. On Sundays this provides most of what you need. A lot of my issues are with the pre-Sunday process of setlist creation. There is not total parity with the MacOS application and the iOS application. No choice to add a click track on iOS, but you can add it on MacOS. But, whatever custom name you give it will not show up on iOS. This results in me jumping between devices just to make a coherent setlist. This is one example of tiny features that need to be more consistent so the workflow is manage-able. Outside of setlist creation, the app will yell at you if you take a screenshot. This is of course to protect the IP of the artists they're merely licensing the songs from. That's understandable, but iOS apps have developed a system to blank the screen when screenshots are taken. For the UX, blasting the user with a warning that their account will be disabled when taking a screenshot is excessive. Developers need to implement the screenshot blanking feature that will circumvent the problem entirely. Again, a lot of these things are really just minor issues, but it adds up when you're consistently working with the app. For as much as it does wrong, it does twice as much right. It is the most robust app for such a niche use but it could use better feature parity and better UX overall.
Helpful but buggy
When it works as intended, it’s indispensable. However every couple of months, it will lock me out of everything, not letting me listen to stems or view the charts. When I restore in app purchases, it sometimes works, but I usually have to delete the app and redownload. Support is not very helpful either - it took hours for them to understand what was wrong, even after sending them multiple screenshots. Once they realized the problem, I got a “sorry, good luck!” And that was it

The app is crashing
I don’t know what is happening with the app. I tried to login but it only show the logo for about 20 seconds and the the app closes. I need help fixing this. I tried to uninstall the app, reset the phone and still happening. I really love the app bit lately a haven’t been able to use it and I really need it

When it works.. it’s great
I can’t believe how many times I’ve tried this app for practice.. and it has SO many “server connection” issues. When it works it’s fantastic - but I’m flipping a coin each time I try to practice with it (using my phone). Feels like this has be on the software side. Can’t even submit a ticket because of the connectivity issues to their server lol.
Great app if you don’t use a computer
I didn’t purchase the app, my church leadership did. I will say the use is very easy and customizable! However, I prefer to see a full sheet of music in front of me, so using it on my computer isn’t an option. Even a full sheet on an iPad isn’t an option. I cannot play keys and swipe through a song for the next section while playing. I need an extra hand. So that’s why the 3 star review. 💖

It is so great, I like it a lot. I wish it was free for the tracks I’ve purchased without the chords. But for the rest is good.
Scrolling Issues
I paid for the subscription and I’m mostly satisfied with the app. But it keeps glitching when I scroll? It sends me all the way to the end of the song sometimes and it can get a bit frustrating to try to scroll back into place on time while playing an instrument live.

Inaccessible to a blind musician
I am a blind musician, and regret to inform that several key aspects of the app are inaccessible with OiceOver. Contacting support has given me a non-committal timeframe for working on this, but the app remains mostly unusable for me in the meantime, until this is done. I would love to revise my review and say that the developers are responsive, so please show me this, because for the moment, the most basic features of the app, like playback and part selection, remain unusable to me, when there are many media apps that work perfectly with VoiceOver. Thankfully the website "sort of" works, but of course that doesn't accomplish all that I need to be a fully participating and contributing member of my worship team, allowing me to serve. Please do better and be accessible from the start, there are several blind musicians I know that would love to use their talents to glorify the Lord through worship. Thanks.

Annotation’s
I hardly ever write reviews none at the most but this is an ongoing problem that never seems to get fixed. Every time you put in notes and actually save (this is not user error ) it never saves ill have all my notes down for what I need and go to church the very next morning and boom they’re all erased every single one of them this is annoying having to scramble very last second to just add everything please fix this it has been going on for over a year now !!!!!
annotations is broken
latest version busted the annotations feature. after saving annotations, they all disappear when you switch to another song and then back. kind of a differentiating feature that should be part of your QA test plan prior to release.

Not a fan
I’m sure it will take time to get used to it, but I’m not a fan. I don’t like the layout of the chord charts or the options for rehearsal tracks. I also despise the clicks. Just like my old Music Stand and tracks. Also—just needed to vent my frustration with this setup.
Great App
I have enjoyed the app. It has given me freedom as a worship leader to practice and find suitable keys. Sometimes I have found it a bit difficult to navigate in understanding it, but I have figured it out with just trying it out. Now I get it I def. I think every vocalist and musician would benefit from accessing this app. 💜✝️👍🌻

Time signatures
Please make time signatures more easily available. Going all the way out and back in, is not realistic. Eraser tool, why is so large? Please either make it smaller or provide the option of different sizes. It is basically useless for any kind of precision editing. As drummer, I write out my drum charts, which makes using the tool impossible to use.

Too many basic features missing
A decent practice, and okay charts. Chart issues that need fixing is when wanting Nashville numbers they’re all jammed together and hard to read. Simple usability features missing like a search history, ability to make a user play/practice list and have to repeatedly search for the same thing over and over. When using live it disconnects and won’t resync making it less than reliable… Great idea that needs work. And yes, I have suggested these and other fixes that were accepted with enthusiasm then promptly ignored…

Parabéns equipe Multitracks. O aplicativo está muito bonito e tem funcionalidades preciosas, como mudar as tonalidades, mapa da música e mudar de cifra para acordes ou os números dos graus. Combinado com o serviço de nuvens ficou ainda melhor, agora que posso subir minhas próprias cifras para a equipe de louvor. Gostaria de fazer duas observações: 1) Seria muito bom se vocês nos dessem a opção de imprimir a cifras que nós mesmo (usuários) subimos para a cloud. Isso, porque nem todo mundo do ministério tem dispositivo Apple. Então, se pudéssemos imprimir em PDF as cifras que nós mesmo montamos pelo utilitário da cloud no site seria muito bom. 2) No ministério de louvor da minha igreja temos quase 20 músicos. O preço de uma assinatura não está caro, mas a igreja não consegue pagar 20 assinaturas... não é desmerecer o trabalho de vocês, porque está incrível, principalmente a sincronização com o app Playback, mas acho que os valores ainda estão um pouco fora da realidade da igreja. Eu espero que um dia todas as igrejas possam ter acesso a tudo o que vocês produzem, porque são ferramentas que fazem a equipe evoluir muito e abençoa toda a igreja. Que Deus abençoe. Parabéns! Estou ansioso para ver o que mais vocês trarão de novidades para nós.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Even though I pay for the subscription I can get it once in a blue moon to actually let me view a song. Otherwise it tells me to get the subscription, for the subscription I already have. When I click to subscribe again…it tells me I already have the subscription. Reinstalling, signing out, and any number of hoops makes it work about 1% of the time. Horrible app, poorly developed, and basically free money for the devs for how little it actually works.

Great, when it works
The app is fantastic when it works, however, that’s about 40% of the time. It’s so buggy,that I have to constantly restart it. So frustrating and not really acceptable when it cost £6 a month. I really expect better.
Suddenly not working
I pay $9.99 a month for the solo bundle. Today it won’t let me change keys and says I need to upgrade to access this. I check my subscriptions, it’s active until 13 March. I tried deleting the app to reinstall and it prompted me that I was deleting an app with an active subscription. I redownloaded the app and still can’t change keys without being prompted to get a subscription. I have tried logging in and out. Please fix :)
