- Updates often break the app or features
Such an incredible app
The app looks so simple when you open it up that it’s surprising just how much it can actually do. If all you’re doing is loading tracks and hitting play, I strongly suggest looking up videos on how to use the app and all its features. The fact that you can do so much even on your phone is amazing. Some small suggestions I’d like to add: I’d love a feature to double tap a slider to return it back to its default setting. Occasionally, I’ll remove or edit a track level and wish that I could return to the original, but it’s near impossible to get it perfect. Also, on mobile, adding an automation to the very end of the song is pretty difficult because the wave only slides so far. The fix is to do it from other devices and save to cloud, but I’m hoping such a tiny fix might be fairly feasible. Lastly, the ability to zoom in or change the scale on the wave would also be helpful. Especially on smaller screens like mobile. Perhaps it could be a feature while the track isn’t playing just to simplify the demand while it’s active, but I digress a little. All in all, I love Playback and all its features. I took the time to learn it all and the team absolutely loves how much we can do with it. Keep up the incredible work!
“Premium”
DO NOT PAY FOR THE PREMIUM through the Apple Store!! I paid for it and it would not give me the premium features inside of Playback! It messed up our Sunday morning setlist due to not being able to edit sections within the song which is a premium feature. Reached out to customer support and they did not care to refund me even after showing proof of the issue. Buy the subscription through the actual multitracks website instead!
Love the app
It’s an amazing application. I just wonder why I can’t have the same settings as my worship leader when I plug in my device to the Playback device.
Hoping for an update to fix issues soon!
This app is great for our church, but on its current version repeats sections and frequently struggles. Wishing for the stability of the previous release once more!
Needs a minimal demo or trial mode
I needed to open this to play with it before I need to run it this week at a new location, but there’s no way to run it on Mac without paying for the subscription. Even just a limited demo or trial mode would be fine.
A tool that opens up new possibilities
When you get a tool in your hands that can do everything you really need cloud songs, section editing, etc you find your small church is empowered to sound big, I love the simplicity of the app for intermediate beginner church musicians also.
Contact Support terrible service
Do not pay for subscription through Apple. They take your money and multitrack Contact support will not refund. They just tell you to pay again through their website. Even if you send them all the proof of active subscription and payment information.
Need more advanced features
This app is a great tool for a starting team, but lacks features that more advanced users miss coming from Logic or Ableton. The ability to fade tracks individually, or output the audio to an interface using separate channels or even pan left and right with a third out for the click and guide would be super helpful.
Will Go Back to 5 Stars if they fix it!
The December update has introduced many glitches, most notably unexpected repeats in sections of edited songs. Our Church has had this issue on both IPads used almost every week since the update. Praying that there will be a fix soon!
Let us add the click to anything if we solo it
When I was using playback I realized that the click/guide only works with all tracks on. Can you please make it were we can solo an instrument or the reference(the actual recording of the song) with the click and guide.
Broke atm
Writing this review to let the team know that our app is broken - it is overlapping songs when not selected, repeating section when not asked - not on one device, but all the ones we have. hopefully a hot fix comes out before Christmas Eve!
Corrijam pfv
Great app!
I think this app is a great app, and have no complaints about using it even tho I don’t have the premium, and I hope it stays that way. I just have a question. How do you make it so the PAD setting doesn’t keep turning off every time it plays the next song? A response with an answer would be great. And soon pls, if you can. But there’s no rush. You can take your time if you want.
Audio editing
I have to log in. Waste of time.
App
Easy to use and simple to manage, the best app for beginners who are developing background tracks in their churches
Atraso
Great App
As a traveling musician and artist with multitracks, I use this app daily. Great way to help share the Gospel through music!
money hungry Christians
They just removed the ability to edit a Sunday set list remotely uploaded to the cloud without a second seat of playback premium. I was using this to help them remotely because I don’t even go to that church. I just help because they have no one to help them. These people are vultures. it was literally perfect before they had to go and mess it up, now I can’t even do favors for my own tiny local church. They don’t have any volunteers that know how to do this. These people are just praying on whoever has the Church pocketbook. literally other churches that I volunteer at we’re doing the same thing so it’s not just my Church. Literally every church that I go to that uses playback was doing that. Do y’all really think I was a good idea? This was the perfect app for tiny churches. That one feature ruined it for everyone that goes to small churches with a tiny worship team.
Playback is so flexible!
I love how I can make changes to the arrangement of a song and save it. I also love the keyboard shortcuts on the Mac
No puedo iniciar sesión
Playback prémium no me sirve
Best app for Tracks
It’s much better, similar features on Ableton but Playback has made my job easier for running tracks for services, and performances.

Too expensive and complicated don’t recommend
Great Program
I honestly feel like I graze the surface of what this program is able to do! I cannot wait until our church fully makes the switch over to this!
Potentially great app, but…
Trialing this (and paying for it) for our church as it seemed to be the dream ticket. Songs expensive, can live with that, but not having to pay subscriptions for basic features which really could be included with the raw app. Another greedy company milking everything they can, I completely dropped Abobe products for the same reason.
It’s my go to tracks player!
Love the simplicity! It makes rehearsing a breeze!
Inconsistent
Unreliable and often glitchy
Crashes
The app crashes sometimes, and it is not fluid.
Amazing, but…
This app is great! It has all the beat features and a lot of songs you can use in order to truly enhance and better your performance in worship! On the contrary, the app is overpriced and once you look out the overall money you’ll be spending, we realise that maybe the app isn’t worth all you’ll be spending. I’m extremely disappointed. I have deleted the app, and will be looking for better, affordable options. Please consider making the app a one off payment. Where you pay once and have access to it for the rest of your time using it. I’m sure it will encourage a lot of users to use it
No me permite explorar mis canciones
Playback is incredibly easy to use
If you want amazingly quick access to tracks and want it to be mobile and easy to use, playback is the way to go!
Chato hein:(
Erro no App
Very helpful!
If you need an affordable way to use multitracks for songs, THIS IS IT! And it’s easy! You got everything you need, you can repeat a verse, a chorus, bridge, or whatever you need! I recommend it because it’s also really good for beginners!
Rental issue
The app just made me use 4 rentals. I had 4 songs from a few weeks ago that expired, which was fine. But when I opened the app after telling the app not to use any rentals and pressing cancel, it went ahead and used 4 rentals anyways. Not really impressed by that.
Looking for something else (1 year member)
This app is great when it does not get updated and start crashing for no apparent reason after updating, the app wont even load, this happenend 2-3 times after an update was released.. right now it is useless and we rely on this for shows, ipad, 2 iphones m, same problem crash on startup
Useful and Powerful
The Playback app is a useful for playing Multitrack Stems and pads. The ability to sync with Chart Builder, edit sections in real time, and control via midi are powerful tools for any team, big or small.
Won’t open
Keeps crashing every time I try to open.
iOS 11 Splitscreen
Hello, the app is great. You want to make it greater? Add the possibility to splitscreen.... I would like to use Playback and Onsong at the same time on Sunday mornings. Looking forward for your feedback... Thanks
Could be good...
By the looks of the app, it looks great, but it wont allow me to use it since you have to pay $10 and i dont want to pay
