I liked using Hiki and i actually found several really cool matches and connections but now I get 0 to 2 matches a month after the update and only 5 likes a day. but paying 45 dollars to get more likes still doesnt seem worth the expense. The idea of a ND centered app is great but this one misses the mark

Making an app for a population that can already have a harder time using conventional dating apps, and then one of the most useful features for reducing the exhausting swipe process is sitting behind a pretty aggressive paywall.
Potential ?
You can only like 5 people a day for free. You can only see the “for you” section for free (so you have to pay in order to see the people just near you. Most people this app is giving me are in other countries). I think this is quite ridiculous. No dating or friend app limits you as much as this one does and no one needs another $10+ subscription. It’s hard enough making friends & dating when neurodivergent , it seems like this app would make this a bit more accessible if you wanted to use it for free

Looked great at first and "online reviews" claim you can use it for free with a small number of free likes per day... NOPE. Zero. And you can't connect to the community either. Attempting to results in immediate temporary or permanent ban like the community note at the very top says.

crazy price
I love having a neurodivergent centered app. But $20 a week for some basic features is honestly insane. No other social app charges like that. It’s technically free but not nearly as good or worth it without the premium. I would be willing to pay some money to support an app like this but that’s way too much. The price probably drives a ton of people away

Protects predators
The moderation department on this app leaves a lot to be desired, they actively protect predators and punish people who try to bring said predators to heel by banning them instead. They will silence people when this problem is brought up and they were caught reinstating an account that was caught soliciting a minor inappropriately. Do better Hiki. Not to mention many updates that cause more bugs than they fix. Plus the recent update removed the red flag reaction which was key for the community to alert other members of predatory users or behavior. So let me ask… Hiki, you want to explain yourself?
Disappointed
It started as a very good and needed app in principle but it appears that beginning sometime in 2025 they significantly expanded the features that required either a premium subscription or the purchase of "special" features like Boosts and Sparks which required repeated payments and offered little observable substance in return. I guess they needed a new revenue model but Hiki now resembles, in my opinion, the familiar monetization pattern common in "free" mobile games aimed at kids (but in this case potentially vulnerable persons with disabilities): low-cost entry, then repeated high-priced "coin bundles" designed to exploit impulsive taps, weak friction, and unclear real-money framing.
Safe Space for Neurodivergent Dating
Hiki has been a great space to connect with other Neurodivergent people. I came here for dating, but have also been also finding some good community.
Paywall to See Near Profiles
Seems a decent app, but no real way to test it out without paying first. My closest recommended profile was 500 miles away, and several were on the other side of the world. To see if there are any profiles nearby you have to pay. Not worth the risk.
good app, a few negative specks
this app is good for friend making and connecting! however it’s hard to see who’s added you and the amount of people you can message if you don’t have premium for whatever reason. that’s a bit unfair i believe…especially if it’s an app for neurodivergent people not all of us can afford premium! otherwise - amazing app

When I want to meet a woman that excludes humans that used to have a penis. Immediately delete and tell anyone I know not to use this app.
Pay wall
I enjoy the community Hiki has created for people who are like me, and I’m happy this app exists. But I really can’t stand the pay walls I have to jump over to talk to anyone! There is a total of 9 guys who clearly want to talk to me. Although I can’t see them because their profile pictures are covered with a blurry filter. 4 of them have even went as far as to message me and try to talk. I can’t talk to any of them though, because I have to pay $19.95 in total to have a conversation for a full week. I don’t have that on me! It’s creating a barrier that I am not enjoying having to ignore. It’s not that I don’t wanna talk to anyone else on the app. I just would like to give these guys a chance to get to know me. Although, they can’t do that if we can’t have a text conversation. I hope this can get addressed and there can be a change in the works so I can fully enjoy my experience. Thank you for reading. great concept

Overpriced
I was really excited for this app. It’s been challenging for me to make friends and I had a lot of hope. Unfortunately that hope was crushed. This app charges $20/week!!! For all the features that make cultivating genuine friendships possible. You can’t see likes, adjust your preferences or distance ect without paying. There’s a bit of a “social media platform” aspect that some seem to really enjoy. This is useless to me as I do not struggle finding and making friends online, that’s incredibly easy on other apps just using search/hashtags. I joined to make real, physical friends and am severely disappointed.
It's a cool app!
I love the post side of it. It's dating and finding friends all in one. Takes the pressure off and that weird swipe culture away. You have more opportunity to really connect.
In-App Purchases

It’s okay if you pay
If you don’t pay, none of your likes will appear on your feed for matches. They kind of force you to pay for premium. Maybe give a trial period or something. Other than that you can chat with others in Circles or by posting on the wall. Hope that you’re not shy.
This is a great app to find the right one
Finally met my girlfriend on here in October and I started dating her in March and it’s amazing
BEWARE
Besides the app basically forcing you to pay to have a decent experience on it, There are many NT’s and foreign scammers that come on this app to take advantage of ND’s. The app doesn’t do anything about the NT’s, m!nors, and bot accounts joining. There are racists and just straight up creeps. A few days after joining with no matches I swear to you I saw a group (circle) named “Trump Supporters” and “MAGA”. The app Moderators are very prejudice and if you bring attention to any problems on the app, they ban you. The app has a very low user count, so your home page will have about the same 10 people posting. To the ND’s, honestly I don’t recommend the app.
Great People, high price
I just started using the app, but there seem to be a lot of nice people I connect with. The problem is that the app cost a minimum of three or four dollars a week and is a lot of money to spend $200 a year to use an app.

i really enjoy the app, just wish there were more people, asexual & schizo-spectrum areas on the “interests” bar, a way to filter out other’s based on sexuality (makes it easier to find other asexual people) & wish it had less of an emphasis on buying premium to see who liked you. overall really enjoy it & am soo happy i downloaded it :)
Very Expensive and Extremely Restrictive
$44 a month is very expensive, and is kind of backwards for neurodivergent people like myself, who struggle to find a job to pay even half that. Furthermore, it is pitiful to lock even filtering distance at all behind the paywall. I could understand locking the distance to say, 100 miles, but locking out any sort of distance is ridiculous. It’s also a complete joke that you’re limited to *5 likes per day.*

34$ for a subscription to be ghosted by people and have my heartbroken by a scammer. Hiki is an app that is absolutely riddled with scammers and creeps preying of neurodivergent people, this app was a fun idea in theory- but in reality it sucks. Don’t even bother at this point!
Why 18+?
Why is this only for people 18+? There are many autistic, ADHD, and ND people out there who would like to use this app. But is that an option with this? No. I tried signing on again few months ago, and it said it was only for people aged 18+ but it said 17+. I would have left a 1 start but I wanted to make sure my review was seen.
Full of catfishers
The app is full of insidious fake profiles and catfishers; I see no evidence of Hiki doing anything to resolve this or putting any measures in place to make it safer & more user friendly. You won’t find anything meaningful here…I wouldn’t bother.
Unrealistic fees for pro
My therapist is cheaper for a year than using this app .seems like a lot if coll people tho now we can only like 5 people a day and can’t see anyone that likes you !!what a scam taking advantage of all Of us with Neuro divergence

I was unfairly banned, I’ve already sent an appeal. They didn’t tell me why, even though I have an idea. (I guess calling someone out on their BS.) it started out a good time met some people and absolutely adore them, but the admins are stupid. Taking my freedom of speech away. Not ethical!

Good premise, too expensive
I so appreciate the goal of this app, but the features that make it worthwhile are way outside my budget and the budgets of most neurodivergent people I know. I’d rather have a few ads than have to pay $30-$40/mo to use the app. It is absurd and borderline predatory.
Hiki at night
As an individual on the spectrum past 15 years or so, I find this app refreshingly original. Facebook is getting rid of many groups for us on messenger. It is about time that we are heard and understood better! I truly enjoy the way I can act like myself whether it’s crazy or not.
Mods don't do anything about harassment and bullying
They allow harassment and stalking within the app, from groups who coordinate attacks against others, mocking them and scrutinizing their posts.
