🤩🤩🤩😍😍😍
🤩🤩🤩😍😍😍 I LOVE THIS APP
DO NOT UPDATE!
App is unable to work properly, missing files, unable to rename files, library is completely unorganized, unable to copy, unable to duplicate, app crashes every few minutes. Ipad OVERHEATS now!
Pretty good
I really like the app, but I’m waiting for some more tools. I also wish we had more coloring pages and stuff. But overall, it’s amazing considering it’s free.
Bug report 🪲
I recently updated the app, and I have no idea why, but suddenly half of my artwork disappeared. Now I have no idea how to recover them. This is really frustrating, especially since these are important drawings that I’ve spent a lot of time working on. August 28, 2026
5 stars if only export vector worked
Love this as a drawing app - motion graphic ability is excellent, I can use my custom photoshop brushes, and many more great features. However I just tried making a vector piece and sharing editable vector art work to my main pc was practically impossible. Sending to illustrator didn’t work, saving as psd lost some layers and opening in Ai wasn’t a smooth operation. I had to save as pdf, send the file to my MacBook then open the pdf in Ai and I still lost layer/artwork information.

I wanted to animate so i spent a few minutes probably like 32 or something like that. I finished and wasnt able to see it 1 star Im actually mad right now
Physical media alt
Excellent app for someone that’s not graphics design or tattoos… This app is for people that want to create art with physical media. We don’t have the time to purchase physical media.
This app needs to be overhauled and improved
Updated: Adobe Fresco lacks basic features that would make it much better, not to mention they now charge “rent” to use their other compatible software/apps. Now since they erased my previous review, I’m writing it again. My issues with Adobe Fresco include the inability to export a vector drawing as an actual vector file. You also cannot import vector files INTO Adobe Fresco. I draw in vectors, mostly, and if you want to work on your vector art as-is out of Fresco, you have to import it into Adobe Illustrator—that they now charge a monthly rental fee for (basically a utility bill); otherwise, your art gets converted to a raster file when you export it. I don’t mind paying once, but I’m not renting software👎🏽; you literally get the same Illustrator features in Affinity Studio, but for free. Next: Fresco corrupts transparent backgrounds and makes them white when you upload a transparent bg file (experienced this issue yesterday after I wrote numbers on each transparent image with my Apple Pencil and imported them into Fresco—the background turned white in Fresco). Another problem: when you color-fill a vector layer in Fresco it (still) leaves behind an unfilled empty artifact line all the way around the fill regions, that you have to go back and completely re-fill-in. They’ve known about this issue for YEARS but never fixed it! Imagine having to MANUALLY re-fill unfilled lines throughout your entire canvas, by hand! No; that’s just creating extra work and wasting my time. My favorite completely free drawing and illustration app is Affinity Studio (Affinity Designer). Fact: You CAN import/export vector files into & out of Affinity. You can also draw and paint. They are currently updating Affinity to work on iPad, so the old Affinity Designer 2 app may no longer work, but the current updated desktop version works great on my M5 MacBook Air with Apple Sidecar for iPad. Fresco is still okay for short animations, but Fresco developers NEED to FIX the issues with vector layers not color-filling completely to the edge, and stop the app from removing transparent backgrounds of imported transparent files—Affinity does not have these problems. They also need to equip Fresco with the ability to export as vector. Fix the issues and then you will earn the stars ⭐️ and I will gladly update this review, because free apps/free software does not equal good.
Question
Can you animate on here if your on a phone?
Better than what u think
There is so many thing you can do!🤩🪽
I loved the app, but it’s so frustrating I don’t even want to use it.
Honestly, I’m paying for the next half a year because- well I don’t even know why anymore… Every time I open the app and try to use it, it complains at me there is no room on my storage to save my art. What is the point of having things save to the cloud if the things I’m trying to save are filling up my internal storage so much anyway. I’ve deleted projects trying to clear THE APPS SPACE. I’ve deleted other apps trying to make more space for my art. On my iPad, this is the single most absolutely engorged app. I loved the UI, I loved how crisp I could get photos and how they automatically went to photoshop. I loved using the app in general, which is why I wanted to pay so much for it, but geez… if I cant even start a new project without it crashing, or have made progress on an older piece without it corrupting the original file… I’m just going to move on to something else and learn a new program. There’s no point.

Ummmm so I was drawing and then inside of most apps like ibis paint you can’t go out of the lines, but when I was drawing, I was trying to do a straight line for the head, cause I was trying to draw a person, and it went out of the line and it was really weird. I don’t know if it’s meant to happen or something, but ok….???
Great App, overall game changer missing some basic features for artists.
I prefer this over other freemium applications, as well as procreate. The vector brushes and live brushes are a favored bonus to use in this program. I do feel there are some pivotal, and necessary features that could make this a program to fully switch to; I feel despite the suggested features, that are recommended, the implementation of reference window(s) when it is added will be sensational. The program at hand I could compare to Krita with the multifaceted options that are presently available, I do feel some of the rigid features due to the UI being changed in a more “recent “ update while impactful personally I miss the old UI, but that’s preference. I look forward to more vector brushes ultimately, it’s hard to work with certain brushes due to not being able to edit the initial shape. Though I do prefer this app ultimately and I have recommended it to others as of late.
Noice
Really good app. Only complaint is why do you have to sign in to export your work!?
Why tf won’t it let me in this app every time I press both of the things it doesn’t let me in
I don’t think your app is completely nice every time I log into this stupid game it won’t let me. I just want to draw in my peace and quiet but no this is all you ask for is to rage bait and make people mad. Why can’t you fix your stupid game just fix it before I give you a three star review or worse, please I just want to draw.
Not bad
Switched form procreate to here, honestly I like it. It has endless layers, tons of tools, and can handle big files. My only concerns are; I wish the eraser and blend tools had more versatile options, and I’d love if there were blur modes like Gaussian blur and motion blur.
Fbvvbc
You should be able to select 1 thing and rotate, move or make it bigger.
Better explanation
I barely understood the tutorial watched it a few times.but still made a good animation
BEST DRAWLING APP EVER
This gives you a lot of freedom and it’s super easy to learn how to do or work the buttons totally recommend the only bad thing about it is it might not have the most of what I want, but it does perfectly fine
Trouble
Never enough memory and have trouble opening my artwork.
T’is good
It’s really good it’s just, I got this app to learn how to draw cats better and it works great because you can upload an image on your drawing and you can trace your image you uploaded , there’s just one thing…..sometimes when I put on “paint inside” like, 70% of the time it doesn’t work even if I check my line work. And like on the 2nd day I got this app whenever I upload a picture it doesn’t let me draw on it. And I feel. Like there should be a quick tutorial on how to use the stuff on the app. Other than those problems I keep running into, its a great app!🙂
App uses your work to train AI
Too good to be free, check the terms and conditions because it is not free, uses your information to train AI. If you're okay with that then it's great.
A little problem….
I can’t do lettering through my own created colour combo… I wanna do it 3d… Although it’s very good app for making digital art…
Brushes
I absolutely love this app because the free brushes
My fav app steals my art and lags nonstop because it has to always be online or else
I love the app. But adobe is too evil to even let it work.
Great as far as I can tell
I’m more into drawing than animation, I’ve tried animation on this app but it slightly confuses me, what I did understand though it worked out pretty nicely, I’m not a genius in the field but I belief it’s called onion skin, that ended up helping me a lot and genuinely made me feel more comfortable knowing I have that layer. For drawing I really enjoy the app, it’s free and worth it in my opinion. There’s a whole bunch of different brushes and took me a while to figure out which one I loved most but honestly worth it. You can adjust the size of the page, how it’s laid out, and can zoom in and out as much as you want. I’m obsessed with the layers as well and definitely made drawing and coloring what I drew easier. It as well has tutorials and examples, haven’t really tried them out but what I know, is that it’s helpful, and goes step by step at your own paste. I rated four stars because again not a genius in animation, but I do really enjoy drawing on it. Thank you if you got this far reading!!!
Why does it keep crashing and saying my work is invalid I can’t access it or delete it
Please fix this annoying bug its actually taking the mick now
Please make CH for IOS
Make or Put CH/Character Animator on mobile please
Pretty good
I haven’t used any other drawing apps but it’s free and has been very reliable so far!
Changing User Interface Constantly
It’s frustrating that Adobe keeps modifying the User Interface to move things around without keeping them in the constant location they usually kept it without any logic. I would hope you would allow users to keep a customisable UI that other Adobe products have.
Easy to draw in for mobile
Easy to draw in while I was using my phone
Nice app but
Umm look at the data linked to you it says location and other things WHY DO YOU NEED THAT ITS A DRAWING APP
Great app, but has really gone downhill.
I’ve been a fresco user since 2023, but it’s been such a shame to see the app become more and more slow and unable to complete basic commands. I have 20gb of free storage, yet the app works extremely slow and won’t allow me to export animations anymore, which is very disappointing as it’s been for a long term project. The quality of the files are great, but I always have to duplicate a piece to ensure the app doesn’t decide to crash out of nowhere and lose my days of effort. If the slowness, crashing and inability to export would be fixed it would be perfect.

Dancing on the ceiling is NOT the feeling
Why are all the tools now situated along the top of the screen? I thought everything from the UI was missing, googling a bunch of different search terms only to find everything wasn’t where it should be. Why did you have to ‘fix’ something that wasn’t broken? Can we at least have the option to switch it back? :(
Would have given it five

I like drawing
This was a great app for drawing as a beginner for digital art I highly recommend it
Bad
I don’t like that it’s pixely
Second best app for art (first procreate)
Im 11 and im sooo good at art my art teacher says I have a high level of skill and creativity and that Im at a level of a college student so she recommended this app and to whoever is a very good I definitely recommend this app it has an animation it has a bunch of cool settings you can move objects around which really is fun for me at my age so I really recommend this app for any really good artists whether you’re mid or you’re like my age which is young but also it’s like really it’s really fun to let out your imagination definitely recommend this app.
i’m only using this for the pose feature.
it’s an ok app but ibis is better
Understanding
Very nice app but the tools r a little confusing but now I accidentally started a business for writing people’s names and then drawing a mandala art lol U SHOULD TRY IT TOO FOR MONEH
Amazing!
The app is free! I also have all of the like Adobe’s apps. I have adobe photoshop like ALL OF THEM! Everyone should try it! I love the non ok maybe limited… brushes!! Amazing app! Also, I love how the brushes, um there are like sooooooo many brushes. Awsome
UI layout design changed!
After using the same layout for years, they decide to move all the tools around. My main issue is the undo buttons being on the complete OPPOSITE side to its original placement! I hate it so much, I hardly use the app ever since the update! Even worse that there was a lack of warning, I would never have updated! I may have to go back to procreate because that’s at least considering the user experience. Bummer because I actually pay for adobe creative cloud, which is due to expire soon so I will not be renewing it! Another issue is syncing projects to the cloud which is a different complaint. One star until they update with customisable layout so I can at least have features back to its original place!
tuff
it was perfectly fine until an update i didn’t know about deleted like all of my drawings
Comfusion
Why is this so confusing? Like how do you supposed to draw and type tell me how to delete drawings in this version. Like where are you supposed to go to delete?
Update
I have been using adobe fresco for a few months and now there’s an update and no warning prior this update. I’m autistic and even though these changes may seem minor, to me, they’ve changed the way I work, the way I was used to the layout. Now I don’t know whether to delete this app or try and use it despite the change of the layout bar which I can no longer move, the tool bar doesn’t look right at the top, I preferred it when it was at the side
