Packages don’t deliver or stolen
Used buyee a good amount of times. Sadly the new shipping company They are using to deliver packages in the states are terrible. They just throw packages out in the open to be stolen. Would not recommend buyee unless you don’t mind a chance for your package to get stolen and never delivered. Avoid at all cost because I know I will be
App is just the website made to fit on an iPhone
Great way to tap into the Japanese market and find some good deals if you know what you’re doing. App works fine but is a little clunky since it is just a condensed version of the website.
Unclear fee structure - beware
Great inventory, reasonably functional site, reasonable merchandise transparency, and provide a necessary proxy service. Issues are around inconsistency in actual inventory availability across some sites vs. Buyee sites (SNKRDUNK is particularly out of date on Buyee), and the shipping fees. Customs duties are levied, whether they apply or not and there is no refund or recourse to recover them. You need to assume a flat overhead percentage added to the item pricing, that will depend on the country you are shipping to. This is not clear anywhere on their site, nor in the ads or auctions, or in their email responses. I had another person look at it with me to verify, and there is complete inconsistency in verbiage, fees, communications, etc.
Slow in response
The bidding price did not update automatically and overall app response time a bit slow compared to other bidding apps

A seller defrauded me, company did not nothing to protect me.
I cannot give a high enough vote AGAINST buyee. When a seller defrauded me, obvious fraud, I spent hours giving buyee the requested pictures, weights of the emptied boxes (they took the cards out of box sets and retaped them empty, and the weights alone i thought would prove this- big difference in weight). After all this they said they cannot refund. I spent over $30k in a short while on Buyee, and this one time I encountered fraud (all from a single seller) Buyee was worthless in doing what’s right- they do not protect the buyer against fraud. The fraud was $700-$1000 total, and I’ll be just fine eating that cost, but I will never shop at buyee again and I will adamantly discourage others from doing so as well. When you would expect them to do what’s right, like ebay etc would, they will leave you screwed due to their incompetence and inability to detect blatant fraud.
Pretty good
I downloaded this app a while ago and made my first 2 purchases, everything went well and I just got them yesterday, it’s easy to buy stuff! The only things that slightly bother me is how slow the mobile app is, but I have a computer so I’m not too bothered, shipping is a lot though, but that’s understandable considering the high tariffs.
Could be a great App and service
I just recently found this app and used it right away. The idea is amazing, but fully learn how to use it before you order. If you are ordering multiple items from the same place, you may have to add it to your cart, then reopen store from the drop menu (you know the way we had to do it over 20yrs ago) then you’ll only be charged one service fee instead of multiple. Wait until all of your things are at the warehouse before you choose shipping, so you can consolidate your shipping. Once you pay for shipping they cannot change anything. Do this things and you hopefully won’t have to pay double fees for everything like I did.
Glitchy app and terrible customer service
Never before in my life have I purchased something online and then been informed I can’t have it, it will be disposed of, and I won’t be receiving a refund. Unethical. Buyee takes no responsibility for the customer experience and the app is laughably bad.
Great app to shop for Japanese product
Love the app, many popular japanese stores available within the app. Because of tariffs and the high shipping costs i would suggest making a shopping list, if you buy too frequently its gonna get expensive. I would also suggest avoiding ECMS for delivery. They use a last mile delivery company in many areas called speedx, and they will lose your packages, its happened to me every time they were the delivery company. Choose buyee air (FedEx) whenever possible. Expensive (depending on weight) but 100% reliable and arrives within a week usually

I ordered a Godzilla said it would arrive in 14 days and its been 4 months I do not recommend
Overall good app!
Very great app especially if you’re also American and getting into gyaru fashion! One glitch is that when you open the app it’ll sometimes say “403 forbidden” and you have to refresh repeatedly for it to stop, hopefully this is fixed soon!!
App barely works and won’t let me make an account
There is no way to make an account on this app if you don’t already have one. It says it will send you an email to set your password but it doesn’t send an email (yes I checked my spam) the app is also very glitchy which makes it hard to click on and browse items

Desde el momento en que se abre la app, la pantalla de inicio tarda mucho en cargar, y al intentar navegar entre secciones, cada click tiene un retraso notable. Esta lentitud constante afecta la fluidez y hace que usar la aplicación sea tedioso, especialmente para quienes buscan hacer compras rápidas o gestionar varias subastas al mismo tiempo. 2. Costos de envío elevados Una de las principales críticas hacia Buyee es el alto costo de los envíos. Si bien es entendible que el envío internacional tenga su precio, las tarifas que maneja Buyee son notablemente superiores a las de otros servicios similares. Da la impresión de que una parte de esos costos podría estar siendo utilizada para obtener ganancias adicionales, lo cual, aunque comprensible desde un punto de vista comercial, se vuelve un punto en contra al compararlo con su competencia más directa. 3. Falta de autenticación de productos Aunque la plataforma funciona principalmente conectando usuarios que venden productos de segunda mano o nuevos, sería muy beneficioso tener una sección dedicada exclusivamente a productos autenticados por Buyee. Esto aumentaría la confianza de los usuarios, ya que actualmente todo queda a discreción del comprador, sin un respaldo oficial de la autenticidad de los artículos más caros o de colección. 5. Interfaz de usuario poco optimizada La interfaz actual parece ser una simple adaptación de la versión web, sin una verdadera optimización para dispositivos móviles. La disposición de la información es abrumadora y poco amigable, los colores no ayudan a destacar las opciones principales y los botones no están ubicados de manera estratégica. Una aplicación móvil debería ser más limpia, intuitiva y visualmente organizada, algo que en su estado actual Buyee claramente necesita reestructurar.

Impossible to navigate
Your regular browser will work much better than this. The app itself is virtually nonfunctional and constantly locking up or giving errors.
Slow, Buggy
I purchase items from Buyee somewhat frequently and the app is handy. However, this app is like moving through molasses. Every page or action takes 10 seconds of loading time. Also, the app loves to log me out multiple times a week for whatever reason. It’s handy, but slow and buggy.

Needs update
Every time I search something then want to search something else it says error. So I have to click the homepage everything I want to make sure I can’t just keep searching something different. Search. Homepage. Search. Homepage. So annoying. Please update

Horrible and cheap proxy
1. Buyee is using this new shipping service called “Speedex” let me tell you that this service had my package out for delivery for 3 days then I recheck my phone and I see that the package that was out for delivery was shipped to Illinois, why is my package that claimed to be out for delivery for 3 days suddenly in Illinois??? And I still haven’t gotten an update it’s genuinely lost, and I paid $200 for shipping services and you give me the worst shipping service ever, to be honest I won’t be surprised if they lose my $500 order, 2. I wasn’t aware of the shipping fees I had to pay to get the item to the storage, one of the items shipping cost was too big so I wanted to dispose it right? They made me pay $16 to CANCEL my order, would’ve been nice if I paid for it from the start or something 3. I lost a bid cause the bid system was broken, please tell me why the bid time is like two minutes behind the actual bidding time? I had lost a bid because buyer’s timing system wasn’t correct 4. I bought the protective packaging that you could buy for $10 to apparently protect your packages, when my packages arrived they were torn apart and the bubble wrap was really thin and was only one layer 5. I had to pay to literally see pictures of my items, there are many other jp proxies that will do this for free 6. Don’t buy from buyee, there are many other jp proxies that won’t scam you out of your money

Best Handheld Marketplace!
I’ve been to multiple gaming stores near me and they’re prices are way to expensive for my budget. A Game Boy Pocket is $150 Just by itself. and on this website, it’s only 30. Ive already bought a Black Nintendo DS For $18 with a charger and game for no extra charge. I recommend this app when buying handhelds for your collection :D

Requires you to put down your address, full name, phone number, gender, and CREDIT CARD before you can even access the app. That’s way too much personal info to request the second you log on for the first time.

Don’t buy from here
I bought a five dollar backpack and payed for the fees but when it arrived to the warehouse it said I had to choose a different shipping method and the shipping was 45 dollars this is not worth it don’t buy from here
