Great app
Great company and superb app. Ever since IKEA stopped doing physical catalogue this become very fast, efficient and sustainable way to check out new products and inventory. Thanks to the developers for making this possible.

It’s absolutely TERRIBLE. I bought a bed with drawers for storage underneath the mattress—and it doesn’t work at ALL. the wheels on the drawer do not fit—not even close. the drawers do not work at all, and i’m not sure what to do about it. the instructions are awful too. just sloppy pictures—no words. it’s awful. do better.

Grundsätzlich hilfreiche App. Kritik allerdings an der Stabilität der App (besonders bei hoher Besucherzahl) in Verbindung mit IKEA FREE WLAN. Shop und Go ist teilweise sehr träge oder reagiert nicht. Insbesondere wird nach dem Bezahlvorgang häufig die Mitteilung der Kasse nicht an die App weitergeleitet, wodurch der Vorgang offen bleibt und nach Erinnerung durch die App manuell geschlossen/beendet werden muss. Bezieht sich alles auf Standort WZ. Treubonuspunkte System ist gut. Allerdings nicht sichtbar welche/wieviele Punkte verfallen werden könnten.

In store scanning is great till you go to check out. 2 completely different times it says there is one more item missing. Yet you can’t click the message to het more info. Or bypass. Do not even get me started on deliveries. Never click the reschedule link and think that you will get a calendar. To reschedule to a date that works for you. Instead the push you out a random day in a week or more. They were about a month late! I ended up canceling my orders and going to the store which is a complete day with travel time back-and-forth and running all over the store locating all the big and little items. Big are easy! Lil ones, may the odds be ever in your favor.
Raumdesign kann nicht weiter geplant werden
Die App an sich funktioniert tadellos und ist gut gestylt. Allerdings habe ich ein Raumdesign geplant und möchte dieses weiter bearbeiten. Beim betätigen des entsprechenden Buttons erscheint lediglich ein leeres Design. In der App finde ich keine Chat bzw. Kontaktmöglichkeit. Im Web-Browser gibt es zwar eine Chat-Möglichkeit, aber da konnte mir auch nicht geholfen werden. Somit kann ich meine Planung nicht beenden und demzufolge auch nichts verstehen. Schade, für ein Unternehmen dieser Größenordnung ein dicker Minuspunkt

The app has an annoying bug
When I click the "rewards" button on the app, it says the content cannot be loaded. This has been happening for the past week, so I am unable to see my points or use any vouchers. Please fix this.
Einlösen von Punkten auf iPhone SE nicht möglich
Das Einlösen von Punkten ist auf dem iPhone SE nicht möglich. Sobald man einen Gutschein einlöst, werden die Punkte zwar abgezogen, aber der Gutschein nicht angezeigt. Es kommt nur die Fehlermeldung, dass die Seite nicht geladen werden kann und man es später versuchen solle. Auf einem iPhone mit Face ID, auf dem sich probeweise eingeloggt wurde, funktionierte es dann plötzlich. Bitte den Fehler beheben! Die App muss zu 100% zuverlässig funktionieren, wenn man am Kassenterminal steht und darf den Anwender nicht auf später vertrösten. Die Zeit hat man an der Kasse nicht.

We love shopping at IKEA globally. It’s our go-to-place to shop, have lunch/brunch, or a light dinner. We love browsing and getting ideas from the showroom displays. Everything is seamlessly organized, purposeful, and affordable which makes shopping a special treat!
Unable to login
I’m unable to log in to the app. When I try to sign in, the app redirects me to the website. After I successfully enter my email address and one-time password, it asks me to create an IKEA Family account, even though I already have one. If I try to create an IKEA Family account, I get an error saying that an account already exists. However, I’m never logged into the app, and the website doesn’t redirect me back to the app after signing in. I’m stuck in a loop where the app keeps redirecting me to the website, and even though I’m successfully logged in on the website, the app never recognizes the login. This is extremely frustrating. I deleted the app and installed the latest version. Nothing seems working.

Spent thousands, got nothing
They gave us c.£20-30 in vouchers after spending thousands on wardrobes but when it came down to it, they made it basically impossible to spend those ‘loyalty’ points. I’ve politely written repeatedly to their customer care but they’ve ignored me. I was never a fan of their bubbly wood furniture but their lack of care make me not want to spend a penny more with them. I’ll write another review somewhere else if they still want to ignore me.
Curbside Order
Spent hours looking at products only to return to home to place order and find products not available Anywhere. Wish I would have seen this in the store so I could continue to look. Very frustrating!

Update Buggy/Makes App Unusable
The newest update makes the app completely unusable. No matter what I’m doing, searching, browsing, etc, I get relentlessly bounced back to the home page. I can’t even open my list page without this immediately happening.
Freezes after 6-8 minutes
I like the app. It’s easy to use but it freezes up after 6-8 minutes of browsing every time I try it. It also lacks the information about items that I would want to know.
Amazing App!
Honestly, I think IKEA has one of the best shopping apps out there. I really love how convenient and responsive the app is, especially when I’m using it while shopping in my local IKEA. I love that I can instantaneously scan to look up items, for more information about them, and add them to my digital shopping cart, then all I have to do is scan a barcode containing all those items and pay, without having to lift heavier items on the self-checkout scanner. Additionally, the return process is an added bonus. When there’s items that I feel doesn’t fit my current aesthetics, or I changed my mind about certain IKEA products, returns via the IKEA app is such a breeze. I’ve been using this app for almost 5 years and it’s established itself as my shopping assistant.

Good Nav/C&C Frustration
Great app overall. Easy to navigate. The click and collect is my only issue. Not living in a city with an Ikea (also having an Ikea account), when I place an order, the location for pick up defaults to a city that I do not want. Once my location preference is set in my account, it should remain as is, unless I choose to change it.
Restaurant a Joke
More than 40 in queue for food and there is 1 person serving and 1 on till - food cold by the time you get to eat. Quite a few ikea people fancying about moving trays - get serving for heavens sake!
Gift card and refund card
Gift/Refund card can be added into its wallet but cannot be redeemed during checkout and the balance won’t be updated as well. That’s strange.

No Language Option within Region
There is no language option within regions, but regions drive availability and store locations. I can browse a region in my preferred language, but not for the region I am located. Lazy choice by the programming team.
IKEA really is a gem
Some amazing deals you just won’t find elsewhere plus the quality is top notch. I got some kitchen ware and home accessories to match my Ikea furniture, the benefit is seeing before you buy, the only draw back to Ikea furniture I can see is they use plywood or chip board style so fixing scratches and knocks is not the same as real wood. I fitted a television bracket swing arm and the desk was like this and hollow and cracked and caved in over time, I would prefer real wood you can work with or paint for these reasons.
Advertised functions are missing, hard to use.
First, you can not change the language without switching to a different region, and the app does not respect the IOS language setting. Second, was advertised the feature to scan the room to see the items in my space, but there is no such feature in the app, seems like they removed it as all the online docs point at menus that are not there anymore.
Mostly good, but also frustrating
Overall, the app is very good, reasonably well thought out and functional, except in the area of lists. The most frustrating thing is that when you go to remove an item from the list, that you have to open a menu and choose remove item (i.e. there is no favourite button you can simply turn off, or no garbage can icon to touch and delete it), not the best, but the bad part is that triggers a pop-up telling you that you have removed the item and it sits there for three seconds, freezing the whole entire app, unable to navigate or move to another item or do anything in the app until that pop-up goes away. That makes using the app and the lists extremely frustrating both at home and when in the store.

I’ve seen the Thornborg loveseat and chair with mattress fold out for guests. I really want this in Canada please ! Otherwise , love Ikea !
Poor usability
Works. Just. However, Ikea’s user experience team would benefit from more training. Things like switching lists to instore shopping lists is counter intuitive, stock levels are poorly implemented and the whole user experience is poorly implemented.
No longer works
New upgrade means i can’t get on the app anymore, my phones not new enough for the new upgraded version and the old version has just stopped working it says app version no longer available 😞😞
