Great clothing
Absolutely love the clothes at Banana Republic. Styles are great!
Out of stock
Every single product is "out of stock"?
Need my size/fit preferences to be retained
I like the app. However, Need my size/fit preferences to be retained in my profile so I don’t have to reset every time I use the app while searching. As long as I have authenticated and logged in, why can I not retain my preferences for search?
Almost always down
Inaccessible more often than not.
Freezing
I like the app but every time I add something to my cart it freezes and the only way out is to tap the promo icon
Great app
So easy to use
Everything is sold out
I saw on the website additional discount through out the app. Installed the app and EVERYTHING is sold out. Even items not on sale. But on the website everything is available.
Nice photography you get to see the whole outfit
The pictures are great because you get to see the entire outfit
Can’t view sold out items
I understand that there sold out, but it would still be nice to view and learn more details about the item.
Good stuffs
Variety of different products
Broken
Broken and bad. Locks you out in the checkout screen when you try to apply gift card. Then has a endless-cycle bug where you cannot ever edit or change the first payment method you tried to add and therefore can never actually buy anything.
Please fix app and website
I’ve shopped with BR for many years and love their stuff. Recently, something happened with the app and it only shows a screen saying to refresh. The website just gives an error message.
Style by The Republic
While being a California Girl most of my life, I’m also a stylist. I’ve had great success in great fashion stores like Banana Republic. Those that began with a friend like Patricia. In Marin county the small boutique was styled to a great Look. To this day, the company didn’t change the great image. The Look always has the a greatness showing. Thank you Tici Stylist
Horrible - Do you want customers?
App is so bad it refuses to accept updated payment info and forces you to either forfeit your gift card to buy the item or just not buy it. Laughably bad.
I love banana republic
No

The app doesn’t show in store purchase history anymore
Summer 2026
I have purchased several items for the summer and they all coordinate together so well and compliments are always being given on the outfits. I truly enjoy the garments that I purchased.
Access denied
When i try to go onto the website all it says is access denied. Then i try to download the app but it stays stuck on the refresh page and doesn’t do anything when i press on the refresh button.
No mixing labels with cart!
Love the high quality of the fabrics, the simplicity of the the fabric and styles. Definitely great quality. Love the sales but don’t love how your cart can contain items from the other brands under GAP corporation!! Please change that!
Alejandra
I prefer Banana/Athleta because it’s high quality clothes and you can find comfortable and modern styles besides the blended linen that I don’t like.
Easy App
Easy to navigate. Pretty seamless.

Easy shopping
