Deliciously Ella: Feel Better is just that! With countless options for eating super healthy, to amazing workouts that vary from gentle yoga to strength training, not to mention having access to meditation and way to keep track of everything is SO helpful! I have recommended this app to many people. You won’t be disappointed 😁-RH
Frustrating issue
Frustrating that although I subscribe I am unable to print recipes from DL site.
Very buggy
The content of this app is amazing but the functionality is terrible!! It’s so buggy, it freezes constantly, I have to open and close it numerous times to unfreeze it, buttons don’t work, it takes ages to load things you click on. I’ve had this app for a couple of years now but I hardly use it because of how frustrating it can be. Please please fix it
It is not what it used to be
Very few new recipes, and if then nothing really new. Quite repetitive: same old ingredients over and over. No new meal plans. Technically , the app is good, no problem with that.

Love this app
I have really enjoyed this app for the past 5 months or so. I updated it recently though and it stopped changing the daily recipe, movement and meditation. Please bring that back!! This app is perfect otherwise but that feature is what drew me to it
Wonky app
Love the idea of vegan recipes but I’m sad that some other features have been added to the app (e.g. workouts, that I don’t use as I already have a subscription for a different website that I adore), making it significantly more expensive. I tried some of the yoga classes and I wasn’t a fan and I detest the fact that there’s a random thumbnail for each video and I found that that particular asana is never actually part of the practice. As for the recipes, when I click on show all it only shows about 20 and then it stops and there’s no more. The app and especially the website is quite slow. Another thing I hate is when I start cooking a recipe and go to the ingredients list, then don’t look at my phone for some time and when I go back, the app jumps back to all recipes and I have to look up the one I’m cooking over and over again. Overall it’s also very easy to click somewhere or swipe accidentally so I’m not where I want to be, needing a few more clicks to go back where I was before. Some recipes are great, others turn out to be a disaster. I like Ella a lot and what they stand up for as a team but I must say that overall I’m not impressed, especially considering the price.
How do I print a recipe?
I can’t for the life of me work out how to print a recipe. I hate looking at recipes on my phone!
Great for easy vegan meals
We have all the cookbooks and still enjoy the app. The search function could be improved, but the favorites are very helpful and it’s a fun way to try new things.

Neeearly perfect!
I love all the content on this app, the variety, the support it provides, the price is incredible, it’s helped my postpartum journey in a multitude of ways, and I have always been inspired by Ella over the years. My one request/complaint is that the recipes dont have reviews or comments sections. I want to see others' tweaks and suggestions, what worked and what didn't about the recipe. I find myself sticking to blogs or other sites for recipes simply because I want to know if a recipe is worth making based on consumer reviews. Please consider adding this and then it'd be perfect!!
Why we love this App !!
My husband and I have been using this app for a few years. We live in Melbourne, Australia so during one of our many lockdowns when we couldn’t train we started training with the app .. We have NOT stopped . We love the variety and train everyday. We feel fantastic. We use the recipes weekly. They are mostly quick,easy and YUMMY. Most days at some point we also practice meditation and mindfulness. This app is the whole package for mind , body and soul.
Not what it used to be
“New” articles are from 2023/2024! 😮 New recipes are few and far between. They are sometimes uploaded without all the ingredients. The focus of the app has shifted from what it once was. Which is why they charge more for it now, yet it’s not updated! It’s really sad, there used to be a wholesome vibe before it shifted. I do not need a veggie tracker or water tracker tool, nor do I have time for it. They also seem to be preoccupied in their brand, dishes, food, etc. The app is lacking and love of cooking is lost.
Excellent Classes + Breathwork
This app offers a wide variety of exercises and mindfulness practices on top of tons of interesting recipes. I highly recommend Adam and Ella’s yoga classes, Jess Wood’s mindfulness practices and the Perfect Tofu if you are feeding little kids!

Looks like it could be good but no way to see without subscribing
I downloaded the app and looked around to see if it would be something I want to subscribe to. Unfortunately, I can’t open any recipes and the only thing it’ll do is connect to Health app. Hardly useful to me. There should be a freemium version to try. Trial periods to subscriptions are never long enough to fully experience and decide whether the app is for you. I end up unsubscribing before being able to give apps with trial periods a good enough try. So just deleting this one, sadly. It could have been useful but I’ll never know.
New Version faulty
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this app. However, unfortunately since the recent update / upgrade and flashy new look of the app my home page and other pages on the app have been enlarged. The homepage especially isn’t functional, while other pages remain enlarged but functional. Hopefully this will be a big fix that gets address soon :) As a helpful piece of feedback for the app developers: My daughter also has the app and her homepage and other pages are fine and functional so may be how the app works on different phones?
Excellent wellness app
I would only ask developers one improvement: - write recipe’s ingredients in the same order as they are used in the preparation - since this inattentive detail has caused me a few mistakes while cooking.

Why not say the app is free but you have to pay for recipes and exercise programs?
Love this app BUT
Please put in a way to see our favorite recipes without having to meal plan for the week. Sometimes I just want to look through the recipes I’ve saved without having to click a day to meal plan for and than click see favorite recipes. It’s too many steps. If there was just a tab for us to browse our favorite recipes I would use this app so much more.
Recipes are lacking
Let me start by saying we’ve purchased a subscription. We’ve made about 13 recipes from this app now and of those only one or two were easy to follow . The recipes were the whole reason we purchased a subscription in the first place. However they are not clear enough to replicate the dish accurately. Sometime ingredients list doesn’t agree with the steps, it’s missing ingredients or changes the type of ingredient. Overall my wife and I are pretty dissatisfied, and would prefer a refund. I definitely will not continue the with the subscription.
Annoying voice to fall asleep
I mainly use this app to help me fall asleep. However I find a certain voice very annoying, almost the LA talking style, and how she pronounce words.. find it incredibly hard to relax and fall asleep
The Best!
I followed Naturally Ella for years and made many of Erin’s delicious recipes. This new site is all that plus total lifestyle ‘recipes!’ I look thru it many times a week. I highly recommend!!!!

This app needs work. The directions are unclear the measurements are in oz making it very difficult if you don’t have a scale. Recipes that call for ingredients from other recipes don’t load.

Go-to wellness app!
I’ve been an Ella fan since she started sharing recipes on her blog and love love love the app that Deliciously Ella has now! I use it almost every day for recipes, exercise, and mindfulness. It’s truly a one-stop-shop for everything wellness! I want to add that I’m not vegan, but I thoroughly enjoy the recipes and own several of her cookbooks. My family loves the curries, especially!

Asked app support where to find nutrition info for each recipe? They responded with a long diatribe about “calorie counting” (which i never asked about) + they don’t include info on nutrition info to “protect” people who might be triggered by it (a bit odd, since every package in a grocery store has a nutrition label…) Sadly, this philosophy turns a blind eye to folks who actually need nutrition info for medical reasons (eg, my husband is newly diagnosed with diabetes and high cholesterol = we need precise info on fat, sugar, etc). Withholding nutritional information **disempowers users from making choices critical to their unique health challenges**, and thwarts attempts by users to (irony alert) “feel better.” Treat your users like adults, please!

From what I’ve seen on YouTube channels and on the app everything looks amazing the only trouble I had was when signing up was that it wouldn’t take the card because it expires in 2023 and I don’t have PayPal
What happened with to the old app?
I had this app for years , but now something happened and all my favourites are gone. The things don’t work the same way. Everything gets stuck and it’s not user friendly. Is it the same for everyone else? I love the recipes but the new update or whatever happened is horrible.
Feeling conflicted
I love all the content from the app. I’ve been following Ella since her beginnings. However the beginning and the end of the search field are out of my screen. It is quite inconvenient when trying to type a recipe search. I’ve got an iPhone 13 Pro max with the latest version of the Ella App.
Growth of this app is inspiring
I downloaded this app when it was just plant based food. It’s been amazing to see the growth and expansion. I’ve enjoyed all the features and love to see the continuous success and expansion. Please keep going! The food also is SO delicious and helped me get past some food sensitivities without compromising taste and experience. 🤍
Charged my account without 7 day trial
I signed up for the first time today and it stated I would get a 7 day trial for either plan. BUT it charged me the 35 dollars right off the back and there’s no way to cancel for a refund! False advertising and will request my money back!
Love the content, not happy with the layout of the new update
Have used this app for years. I’ve used the recipes, the workouts, the yoga classes and have really enjoyed the podcasts. It’s an all around awesome app - definitely one of my favourites! One of the things I’ve always loved is the beautiful layout and simple functionality of the app - I just opened it recently to find it completely changed and it’s making it much harder to use, I can’t find things as easily and it’s confusing. I loved the old layout and am not enjoying the new one and really hope it changes back!
Good but way way too many submenus
I love the app before the more recent upgrades. It is super frustrating to navigate around. I want to get to the shopping cart when I’m out and I have to go through so many specific submenus. While I appreciate the developers attempts to track more mindful living. I mainly use it for the recipes and shopping list. Back when it was Deliciously Ella (rather than Feel Better) the options for food or mindfulness or yoga stuff was much more separated - and thus easier to navigate. It gets 2 stars as it’s ok. It has high quality content but the whole interface is much too compact and mired in submenus. I hope developers change this, else I’ll be canceling my subscription and moving to a more user friendly app that allows me to customize the app to what I use it for, rather than forcing me to navigate through menus to get away from the parts I don’t use as much.
Great app, wish it works off wifi
This is a fantastic app with lots of great content, but improvements need to be made still. For example, out of a wifi zone it’s very slow (the dreaded spinning wheel) which means if I’ve written a shopping list on it I can’t use it if not I a wifi area. It’s incredibly frustrating for an otherwise fab service
AMAZING APP!
I can’t even begin to explain how much I like this app. I just recently looked into moving towards a plant-based diet and stumbled across this app. I’m so glad I did I really love all of the recipes and I love that there are exercise and meditation sessions included. Thank you so much team for putting together such a wonderful product.
Trial period? charged for whole year
Signed up for the yearly plan with free 7 day trial, but I’m pretty sure I just got charged for the whole year without the free trial. I will update my review depending on how this works out.
Fantastic app!
I absolutely love this app and have been enjoying the recipes and meal planning/ shopping list functions so much. However I hate the new update. It puts all my favourite parts of the app in really inconvenient places which make it much harder to use. I hope they update it soon to fix this aspect!
Great content, glitchy and awkward app
The app has a fantastic selection of recipes for the price of the monthly subscription. Unfortunately, I’ve found it to be glitchy. It regularly freezes when going between sections or has to reload. It has repeatedly cleared all my favourite recipes. The new fitness section is not showing for me; I only see yoga videos (which are great). I tried updating everything I could on my iPhone. I have written to the company about these problems through the contact provided but received no response after 10 days so far.
Recipes are good but be aware…
… they are not a quick read for North Americans. Everything is in metric and the names of ingredients are not the same; there’s nothing wrong with that, it’s just simply not geared to a North American user. So I spend more time looking up things (i.e. “passata” is puréed tomatoes, or “beluga lentils” are black lentils). Also, you have to convert all the measurements, and temperatures. So it’s not quick to read or follow. However, the few recipes I did take the time to make were good and we did enjoy them, so if you have the time to look things up and convert measurements/temperatures, then I think you will like the recipes.
Lovely environment
I love Ella’s recipes, which is why I subscribe. However, there’s much more to the app than just food. I love the mindfulness I feel when I enter the app and it’s just such a calming place to browse. Their customer service team is also top-notch and I just really enjoy the app and the subscription.
almost perfect
Needs a few filters added. I want to be able to filter out which ingredients I don’t want to see. Like things with no dairy No wheats or grains And then have the app show me only things that fit within the specific criteria.

Unusable without subscription
The app itself looks fantastic but my issue is the fact that it is advertised as Free with In App purchases available. This is fine but I believe it is false advertising as in fact you can’t access any of the app unless you subscribe.
iPad needs version work
They need to add good multitasking support so I can order groceries with my shopping list open. I want to be able to rearrange the items in a day so I can see them in the order I will consume them. It’s a good app though I want to see a recipe request area.
