Life saver!
The support of the Fast 800 team is brilliant and the programme has seen me through some difficult months. Access to such a wide range of advice, recipes and exercise and wellbeing means the programme always has options to explore. Very happy!
I cancelled my membership over a month ago however you are taking my money
Cancelled
Amazing recipes and workouts
Love this app, really helped me to trim down and get fitter. The only thing I would add is please can there be a no music option version of the work out please? I’d like to listen to my own music over the top. Thanks!
No help over email
I’m reaching out here as I don’t get any response to my emails I have sent you. Is anyone managing the inbox?
App keeps freezing
Hi, Not sure if it’s just me but I’ve had to download this at least 3 times in the last month. It just freezes on me. Realise this is quite an old app as I first started using it in 2022. I find the diet menus and exercises helpful and they have helped me to loose weight which is why I keep coming back to it but frustrated with the freezing
Working well for me.!
I have been using the Fast800 diet plan for a month and I am losing weight. The recipes are tasty and the information I receive as part of the plan helps me to understand the science. I’m very happy with my results and looking forward to reaching my goal.
Cancellation
I have been trying to cancel my subscription for weeks now and haven’t been able to.
Great
loving this diet i’m not hungry despite 800 calories over two meals a day. my family enjoy the recipes as well and just add carbs. Frustrating that the meals aren’t seasonal and not many quick and easy recipes so whilst i love cooking i sometimes find at lunchtime the lunch recipes are going to take 40 minutes to cook plus prep. Swaps suggestions are often limited. also there have been days where each meal is a different recipe for broccoli egg and cheese which is not ideal.
App crashes
I love the recipes and diet works, however, the app for me doesn’t work well. It constantly crashes and logs me out. Then I have to reinstall the app and I loose my menu for the week. Very frustrating as I’ve signed up for 3-months and am only on week 2!
Fast 800
I’m finding it hard to stick to . I love the recipes.
Companion to weight loss
I have so enjoyed the variety of recipes. Following the meal plan and shopping list has made my life as a full time worker, Mum and home marker easier. Whilst also focusing on healthy food and weight loss.
Doesn’t load diet plan
I have just paid £29 for a monthly subscription but can’t get past personal data! Won’t load diet plan or anything else.. just thrown away £29 .. great not !!!
iPad
I like to use on my iPad but it keeps crashing. Ok on phone and laptop.
Login keeps failing
The programme itself is great, but the app keeps logging me out and then the login page won’t come up. It’s a royal pain to delete the app, reinstall it and then login in, especially when you’re in a hurry to find your meal recipe! 😡 I’m on an up to date iPhone 15. Please get this bug fixed!!!
Five stars for the program, but not for the app
This program is incredibly effective and deserves five stars – it is very easy to follow and helps you stay motivated to stick on course. As a vegetarian the recipes are incredibly tasty and nourishing. Unfortunately I find the app very glitchy – frequently cannot open it – slow etc. That’s the only negative in my experience with this program which I will continue to follow.
Great app
Great app that’s genuinely useful, easy to use and navigate. Not overly fussy, nicely designed. It’s really helping me with tracking my progress, planning meals & just generally keeping me motivated (which can be difficult when following a diet that’s hopefully going to become a lifelong commitment!)
Kicks you out if you cancel without honouring the 7 days free trial
Sadly I downloaded this to try the free trial. Signed up and I was told I had access for 1 week but when I cancelled the subscription, it immediately kicked me off the app without honouring the free trial period. A real shame as I may have resubscribed once I finished the trial ( I only cancel so I don’t get caught in one I don’t want!)
Everything in one place wherever you are
I have been using this app for a few years now. It offers excellent value for money….Exercises/movement to suit you and your bodies health and/or physical abilities, so if you are compromised in anyway through injury/surgery etc. there is a programme you will be able to follow to keep you moving and help reach your full potential. This is combined with easy to follow meal plans, where you pick whichever, suits your goals. There are regular updates and community support for you to engage with, if you choose to. A great App, my only issue is that the recipe images could do with the input from a good food stylist as the meals don’t always look very appealing.
App is poor
The fast 800 itself is great and I love the recipes as they’re easy to follow. My rating is about the app and not the diet. I’ve struggled, for the second time, to access the recipes to plan my week ahead because it keeps asking me to sign in. When I do try to sign in, it just keeps spinning. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it and it’s still not working. So frustrating!
Great diet. Shame about the App
The diet is fabulous but the App doesnt log you on again if you leave your wifi signal. It gets stuck on login screen and you end up switching your phone off and restarting it. Total pain in the backside. Surely this js a fixable glitch. Im on iphone.
Exceptional
The choices are very varied and exciting. I have yet to find anything I didn’t enjoy!!!!
Won’t stop asking for a rating!
Great app, lost loads of weight on the plan and think it could be viable to follow long term, big didn’t want to leave a review just yet. However the app forced me into it because every time I click a button or follow a link it asks for a rating! So annoying! (iPhone 14 Pro Max)
Good meal plans but expensive
I found the meal plans great in this app, but didn’t really use the other content. It was a bit too expensive to keep using it just for the meal plans.
Love the program, hate the app glitch
I love this program and have used it for awhile but my app frequently sticks when logging in. It happens on my iPad and my phone. Reported it a few times but they don’t seem to do anything about it. I have to delete the app and reinstall to get it to work frequently. It’s very frustrating because otherwise the program is great. I have logged this a number of times with the support team but it hasn’t been resolved. Tbh I am sick of wasting my time emailing them.
Glitchy
Love the plan all going well but the app needs a regular reboot… quite glitchy
Recommended
The recipes are fabulous and miraculously work every time! You might never need another cookbook 😊
App doesn’t load
I’m sure the plans are great but if the app doesn’t work and the plan doesn’t load, on iPhone, iPad, or laptop then it’s useless
Good but could be better
The meals, workouts and lessons are great and have completely changed my way of eating. I did have a question for support and was told to go to my health provider which I thought was unnecessary as they could have provided the information i needed as it wasn’t a health issue. There can be a lot of waste with the meals suggested as such small quantities are used, and although you can freeze meals for later use which I did it was not the easiest to substitute the meals suggested. For the shopping list it would be so much better if you could edit the meals you were buying for and the quantities before printing the list out. This is available in other plans I have used and helps so much with wastage and buying enough food for a few days at a time rather then 1 week, especially with short shelf life dates for so much fresh food.
App down
It’s a bit annoying when app and website are not accessible without the prior warning as is happening today.
Thrilled to be back
Thank you to the team, your response to my enquiry was quick and helpful Pleased to be back in the programme, it’s so easy to follow & very informative and inspiring Heather P
Reviewing gone made
Despite an update the app isn’t fit for purpose. Content is outstanding but a bug that asks you to rate the app every time you click on anything is intolerable.
Recipes
The recipes for a week at a time for two people causes food waste if you can’t batch cook. These is because there are odd small amounts used meaning there are opened food items that will go bad. It would be better for instance that the weeks planned menu makes use of the other “half a tin”.
Program is good app needs work
In week two of program - so far so good. The app is difficult to navigate, the recipe search function is problematic. You have to be in a meal to search for a recipe. Would be better if they just had a general search function. No way to add your own meals except to say eating out, would be better to be able to at least add calories if not the ingredients so that calories and nutritional information can be calculated. The app is okay it’s just a bit clunky to work with. That said so far I’ve lost 4 kg so something must be going alright.
Great recipes, effective programme
I’ve been following the Very Fast 800 12 week programme for 3 weeks and have lost 9lbs. Recipes are lovely but would recommend batch-cooking as many use 1/4 cans for single portions. Swapping recipes also enables you to tweak it to your tastes or foods you may have in so you can minimise or avoid waste. App would really benefit from a facility to add other foods individually for eating in restaurants, for example.
App not working for me!
Subscribed today - answered all the info questions and submitted my details. Got my meal plan for the 7 days, free trial period however having cooked the lunch and dinner meals the app is now saying it’s not connected to the wi-fi and to check my data !!! There’s is no issues with my wi-fi, in fact I deleted the app and re-downloaded. It’s refused/denied my log in 4 times now, so I’ve cancelled my subscription and deleted the app 😟
Great Program
The program is easy to follow and works. Did it with the books first and still use them. The app took me a while to get used to.
Headaches
I was finding everything about the new 5:2 diet a breeze! Love the planning of it, the recipes and didn’t feel hungry. Until 12 days in I began to get a headache which lasted until I caved in and had some carbs! I drink 2.5-3 litres of water per day. It wasn’t made clear to me that headaches and feeling grumpy were a regular side effect. It was really hard to work and function with a constant pain in my head. I will be going on with the diet but more cautiously, especially on fast days.
Highly recommend well worth the cost
I’m loving the recipes and the meal planner has finally given me some discipline. Loosing weight steadily I’m so pleased
Never told us have to pay instead of free!
Ridiculous have to pay without letting us know.
Fast 800
Love the Fast 800 app, has everything you need to change your lifestyle and be the best version of you.
Stuck
Login window is stuck on loading !!!!!
New dieter
Just starting 3rd week, going well so far. Regime fits in well with my retirement life, easy to adapt meals to what I’m doing. Approximately 1kg per week loss.
Free trial doesn’t work
As soon as you cancel your subscription, you lose all access, despite Apple’s subscription page saying you still have access. This means I lost the free trial immediately and couldn’t try anything out. Lost my free trial so won’t be subscribing.
Comprehensive approach to reaching a healthy weight
I have tried several online weight loss programs and have been unable to stick with them. I have completed week 3 of the fast 800 and have appreciated the broad-based approach to healthy weight loss. The program includes an exercise regime which is easy to follow at home, as well as meditative activities and information about the principles and research that underpin it. It did not take long to adjust to omitting snacks from my diet. The app is very easy to use.
Good programme but the app is very annoying
The app is clunky and expects me to log in to a safari page every time, doesn’t seem to be a stand alone app. I find the app frustrating, the searches frustrating and having to log in and out all the time frustrating
