More then a game
I used to love this game, I’ve played it since I was six. I always like card games because of my grandma, she used to show me how to play a bunch of card games. I loved playing with her, we shared a mutual love for cards. We would play this game a lot too, I can remember countless times where I’d I ask her to play with me. It was really fun, I felt like an adult playing cards and genuinely happy. Every time I play this game or play cards I think about my grandma. But unfortunately things happened (nothing she did) and I couldn’t see her anymore. No more fun afternoons playing Gin Rummy: The Ultimate Game, not even a conversation. Years pass maybe about 6 or so, she wants to see me after all these years. She says she thinks about me all the time and quite misses me, I nearly fell over when I heard this. I ended up talking it out with my parents and they talked to my grandma. Finally after 6 years I’m going to see her on the weekend, I finally get to sit down with her and play cards.
Please fix the glitch
When I draw from discard pile many times I do not get that card. The card I get I cannot discard. April 2026 This glitch has STILL NOT been fixed. In fact it happens more often.
Straight Gin
While playing straight gin the bot was able to call. This should not have happened.

Each time I reach $2900 (fake $) I start to loose almost constantly. I go from 2900 to 500. That isn’t logical so the game must be fixed. And it frequently indicates my internet is down when it is not. Which also looses points. Ready to find another Gin Rummy game.
Sort yourself out
Could be good but has major flaws. 1). Constantly stops in the middle of the game then after a while tells you that you have no internet, when I KNOW my internet is working fine. 2) Has started to split up hands when you knock for gin so that the opponent wins through undercutting. Needs sorting out asap. Now the day after I wrote the above, and surprise surprise ! It has stopped again after 1 hand saying there is no internet. Funny that, seeing has I received 2 emails whilst it was telling me that. I have looked at other reviews and found these issues have not been corrected at all in 5 YEARS. I take it you don’t want players, so I will leave as well and find a better app.
Just rummy
The game does not have many ads. I can play for a few minutes or a half hour. Doesn’t have any gimmicky side games.

I was changed from a man to a woman. I don’t think that I am playing with real people. Too many oddities compared to the game that I play on my MacBook.

I’ve been playing this app for a very long time, however, recently I’ve seen pornographic ads. I deleted this app for awhile and recently started playing again. If I see another porno (seriously porno, people “doing things”)ad, I’m done.

This game is a perfect example of why any game of chance by computer is a complete fraud. This game manipulates cards and it’s so obvious…discard a card and the next draw is a pairing. Complete fraud manipulated by the program coupled to an individual player. Playing a game to win is a good strategy but when the computer continually manipulates the cards is not only frustrating, but fraudulent. How can a player play to win if the computer knows what cards you have? Foolish. I have added to this review to emphasize how disingenuous the game is. Don’t waste your time on games that punish players with fixed deals just because you leave a truthful review.

App seems to disconnect and forfeit game very easily. Unsure if internet is really dropping for micro seconds as often as app seems to fail. Cards reappear after n play. I am certain that I often see cards 2-3 times when playing the computer.

it’s challenging and it keeps me out of bars (ha, i’m kidding). Seriously it is a great game and there is strategy involved. A Great way to pass the time.

Too many glitches
Love this game, but it has too many glitches that cause the game to freeze. It freezes up in the middle of a game, and neither player can play. When this happens unlike some other games, your points are never restored. PLEASE FIX THIS GAME!
Too Many Ads!
I like the game’s mechanics, but ads pop up constantly and if you are getting close to the end of a game, the pop up after every hand. Very annoying, and I have not found an ad free, subscription version.
It’s ok but could be much better
The game times out and steals your coins, it’s very slow. Other players loose connection and the computer takes over a lot of!

At first, it seems this game was neglected. So many bugs. But then it got better. All of a sudden, it’s getting ads after every round! I don’t mind ads between games, but after every round is really annoying. No option to opt out of ads. I think I’ll find another gin rummy app.
Have to pay for stronger ai opponents
If I best your weak AI opponents in 50 games it should unlock better AI opponents who I should have to beat 60times all while being barraged by nonsense ads. It shouldn’t be a requirement that I spend $2, $5 or $10 to get a better challenge when you are reaping ad revenue.

I love that I found this because it reminds me of playing when I was young . I enjoy playing offline and it helps me hone my thinking skills.

Could be brilliant but it doesn’t work properly. If your partner folds you are awarded points but these are NOT always given. On line play freezes. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve had to come out of the game and restart it. So frustrating
Unstable connections
The UI is good, but the connection to the internet is terrible. Many games are ruined by a lost connection. In my home on my WiFi or on 5G, where I have no connection issues for any other app, this app frustratingly drops games frequently.
Still not fixed after 1 year
Do you not read people’s comments and complaints. No apparently you do not. All the little quirks this game are still there after over a year since my first complaint. Cards that change value when drawn. Opponent cards magically taking extra draws or too many or not enough cards in my hand. No internet connection msg although my internet is fine. Games that hang and can’t be completed. Showing me a different avatar than my own. I know a lot of people play this game. It’s the best gin rummy in the App Store EXCEPT for these obvious glitches. Please fix them. The game performance is worse than ever with freeze ups.

This game gets stuck halfway through twice it is done. It has locked down and I cannot continue have to go home page and leave the game because it will not continue so I write this game at two.

This game is terrible. Something is not right! It keeps locking up on me altogether, or I get a message “no internet”. It is exasperating. I have no problems with other games I play.
Ads are annoying
I’ve played this for years and out of nowhere it plays game of thrones ads constantly. Very annoying. I’d pay to not see ads which I think I did in the beginning.
Bad part
There are several issues with your game. It makes no sense to me, but I do like the fact that I can play it off-line.
The ads are ridiculously long
Two issues: 1. The ads take forever. So many times I have just quit and went to other apps. 2. Numerous times after the ad finished, it will go back to the game, but it shows “please wait while loading ad”. However it just sits and spins while the other player takes their turn. It freezes and I can’t play.
