This game is so fun and addictive!!
Used to be fun, now it’s just frustrating
Value in terms of purchased perks and power ups is garbage at this point. Your money doesn’t get you far, especially with how many events are focused on win streak. It’s also extremely disheartening how cheated you are on trophies when new weeks start. I logged in today and earned 60 trophies from the monthly calendar after watching an ad, but not only were they not attributed to the new week, my progress was reset an hour later and I have to now pay 200 to get the day I missed. The inconsistency and poor synchronization combined with how little value you get for spending money has made me so angry that I no longer want to play at all. Also, there is no such thing as VIP. They might send you one or two emails but you don’t get anything out of it.

The games visuals are great and team play aspects as well. They took the ability to save your coins to purchase premium during the completion. Now cash only. Not cool
Hate new changes
I hate all the changes because they have cost me a lot of coins! The box to exit the game play has now changed to “keep playing and gives us all your coins”. I’ve lost thousands of coins. Today I lost 1200 coins trying to exit the game. :’(
Returning player
I played this years ago when it first came out, and recently decided to try it again. It was a pretty terrible returning player experience. There must have been at least 10 minutes of constant pop ups telling me about all the new systems introduced to the game. Then I came to realize that having played to around puzzle 200 way back then was actually a disadvantage because I guess most of the progression systems didn’t exist back then. I started a new account and already have more progress with creatures, more power ups, more coins, some spells upgraded to a higher level etc at close to puzzle 100 than I did at puzzle 200 on my original account. Having an older account should feel valuable, not like a liability. I’ve now started getting banner ads so large they that cause the actual game boards to shrink down to a point where they’re hard to see and just feel really cramped. This frankly makes the game unplayable. I get f2p games are going to have ads, but banner ads should not shrink down the actual game and impede playability.
Still one of the best
I’ve been playing this a while. It seems that fewer people are on here these days, but it’s still one of the best games IMO in terms of variety and challenge.
Used to be a great game
The game has changed drastically in the past 4 months. I have been a VIP for the last 4-5 years, whatever that means. The game makes you spend spend spend and when you do, there is absolutely no advantage in doing so. They changed the algorithm so it is soo difficult to win without using up what you purchased. The game is garbage now.

High Penalty Game
Beware losing Super Charm bag. Getting it back will involve winning 10 games, many of which will require to play over and over again to avoid paying money to get past. Sets you way back if you purchase a Season Pass as you may not complete enough games to earn the top reward that you paid for. I have had to play the same puzzle 20+ times to get past it. I stopped buying the Season Pass for awhile due to obscenely small turns to complete and my refusal to spend coins to get past it.

Quite buggy
Aside from JK being a horrible person, this app is really quite buggy, the wrong screens are shown, it frequently hangs in transition, requiring an app restart to clear
Intriguing and challenging
There are many little surprises and I love how the game parallels the Harry Potter books and movies. There’s even Harry Potter trivia!! You do need to be careful of the in app purchases, but good fun just the same. Join a club and chat. Adds to the game

Shein adverts keep opening up safari search engine even when your not touching the screen so no accidental swipe on your ads taking up a quarter of the screen and flashing so no one can miss them
Greed is now a spell
Regardless of how hard my team tries, it seems impossible to collect all the necessary cards. That’s ludicrous. And I had to take out a loan to afford coins. This game has become unsustainable despite my stupidly spending tens of thousands.

Худший результат: один уровень за 48 часов. Перестали давать возможность приобрести премиум-пропуск за игровую валюту! Раньше можно было за 10000 золотых монет купить премиум-пропуск. Сейчас только одно требование: покупай за реальные деньги. Раньше было интереснее играть, было больше нужных и необходимых наград, которые помогали при игре, при прохождении уровней, сейчас ничего этого нет 😢. Игра стремительно теряет свою привлекательность и рейтинг. Разработчикам это событие глубоко безразлично. Хотелось бы, чтобы разработчики очнулись ото сна, улучшили бы условия для прохождения уровней и событий игры и вернули бы этим былую популярность игры до оценки 4,9. Советую игру тем, кому будет интересно проходить один уровень за двое суток!!! А рассказывать обо всех косяках в игре - ни какого здоровья не хватит!!! Всё не могу больше играть, уже тошнит от того, что не дают играть, не дают проходить уровни, ни какие игровые задания не дают проходить: За три дня дали один раз пройти уровень в событии: «Битва за Хогвартс». Событие : «Дерево Лукотруса» вообще ни разу не дали пройти. Бросаю эту игру, устала от всего этого беспредела. Жизнь одна, и терять время на эту бесполезную игру - слишком шикарное событие. Любая игра должна приносить удовлетворение, а не полное разочарование.
Potential to be such a great game but unbalanced.
Game itself is fun in a world we all love, however, the rewards system is completely unbalanced. Level continuations and things cost way more coins then you ever win for anything. Bonus levels are impossible to beat and the cards for rewards is useless and completely unnecessary. I do enjoy playing the game it just feels way too unbalanced for greed purposes obviously. I’d happily pay $1-$2 here or there but this game is outrageous.
Overall good game
It’s an overall good game that can get too addicting sometime and you may want to be careful how much money you want to spend on it.
WARNING ad sounds can’t be muted.
This app was one of my favorites but recently they’ve started having ads that come in while you’re playing. Not usually something that would bother me as they were at the bottom of the screen. But now the ads have sound that you CANNOT MUTE not in settings, not by turning of your phone ringer (this used to work). It is SO intrusive. The ads come on and, if I’m playing a podcast or listening to an audiobook, the ads interrupt the audiobook/podcast. This is unacceptable for me. Been playing for many years but deleted it because of this.

I really want to like this game because I love Harry Potter but i find it to be overly complicated. The graphics are great though.

USED to be fun and engaging
Zynga continues to take away the enjoyment by making bonuses misfire, awarding fewer bonuses, making more mistakes with every update, making games harder to win the moment you have your creature meter full. The list of transgressions gets longer and longer. It’s become more punitive and harder to make progress every update. It used to be the perfect game. Now it’s work.
Can’t login with Facebook
I’ve played the game previously. I got a new phone and it won’t let me resume my progress with my Facebook account. I don’t think I will be starting over as I had a pretty high level.
Too many ads
When I start to play the game I just want to play the game not get bombarded with ads and offers. This is why I hardly play any more
Ads lock up the game
I’ve been playing this game for years and really enjoy it. However, for the past several months, the ads you have to watch to get extra moves have been locking up. At that point, I lose the super charmed bag powerup and progression in challenges like Escape from Azkaban, etc. It truly curbs the enthusiasm I have for the game having my achievements and ranking destroyed by faulty ads. I’d like to give more stars but won’t while this is still happening.

Deleted my review
They deleted my review for this game. I very clearly recall leaving one when they initially introduced the banner ads mid puzzle and I immediately deleted the app. Came back to see if the reviews changed and the ads had gone away only to see they got worse. Went to look at what I had said in my review and it’s no where to be found. Just don’t play this game. It used to be my absolute favorite and as much as I want to continue playing it I don’t want to deal with ads or micro transactions. They had such a good game before those changes and are either paying people to leave good reviews or are having bots do it. Don’t download.
The Piggery!
I have been playing this game for a while. Still enjoying it, even though the lanterns, mountain troll, and slugs are a bit of a pain. My only big beef are the ads! A poor woman is once again left abandoned by her jerk of a boyfriend/husband thing he runs off with some wench and leaves her and their children to fend for themselves. I saw one called Tavern Legend and it was utterly disgusting! Stop with the male chauvinist pig ads. That is all.

Awesome, but
This game is amazing. It’s fun to play. The only thing I would change. Is that if you feel like your house is wrong or your wand doesn’t fit you you should have an option to retake quizzes for those just my opinion, though the rest of the game is amazing. I’m Lizzie from Hagrid’s keep by the way.
Scam
If you spend any money you can’t watch ads for extra moves or lives, the ‘support’ chat claims it’s that everyone gets different ad opportunities but such a lie! It’s full of glitches and it’s just not as good as it was, guarantee nothing comes of this anyway, they won’t fix it or give me back ads!

I’m enjoying the game but wish it didn’t take about 10 tries to get past games, often you only need one move to finish and run out of lives. Once you start paying for coins ect it gets more and more expensive

Greed has reached an all-time high at Zynga with this game. Been playing since the game started. Have watched it go straight downhill in the last year or so. The Zynga algorithm is programmed to hook players and then slowly change things to get them to pay to play. They’ve made over $100 million on this game and it’s just never enough. It’s actually gotten depressing to play the game now. I’ll be leaving soon if they don’t correct this all out money grab. And I’ll never, ever download another Zynga game based on this experience. Can’t wait to see their A.I. response to this post … “rest assured we take your issues seriously.” Yeah, I don’t think so.

Not as good as it was
This was an amazing game but recently Theyve introduced the stupid card collection game which is tedious!! Hardly any of the old puzzles. Just not as exciting

I’ve been playing this game for years and I’ve become obsessed with it!! I’m a HUGE Harry Potter fan, I’ve seen the movies and read the books so much I can’t even count how many times I’ve done both. But if your a Harry Potter fan and your looking for a good game to play. Choose this one!! It’s so awesome and you go through each puzzle as it is part of the movie!! So people out there!!! This is the best game to have if you are a Harry Potter fan like I am!!
Awful implement of trans in game
Completed 12 levels and you get option to choose character, options are some random kids with coloured hairs and blue lips and all sorts of LGBTQPRSTU flags on background. As a harry potter fan this is disappointing! Deleted game straight away!

Ads spoil it
I love playing this game but since they decided to put ads across the top of the level you are playing , not so much. Very off putting and the gameplay screen is a lot smaller. Please remove those ads!!!!
Getting really frustrated with ads
Have been playing for a few years now and have been content to put up with ads on occasion. But it has now started to really annoy me. Increasing numbers of ads get stuck: they don’t end or have an x to go back to the game so the only option is to come out of the app completely and start again. You can’t even avoid ads by not trying to get extra moves as they pop up all the time. Sadly, it is getting to the point where I may well stop playing, presumably defeating the object for your advertisers and, ultimately, for the popularity of the game.
DO NOT SPEND MONEY IN THIS GAME OR YOU WILL LOSE THE OPTION TO WATCH ADS FOR EXTRA MOVES
Contacting support will result in gaslighting you that there are many reasons for this but it is not true. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING IN THE GAME UNLESS YOU ARE HAPPY TO LOSE THE OPTION TO WATCH ADS FOR EXTRA MOVES. I deleted my account and the game in the end as I felt totally frustrated about this and then responses from Support were just the last straw.
