Predatory Ads
This game has ads in other games that FORCE this app open if you tap anywhere outside of the “x” or if it times out. Absolutely nightmarish and even at level 50 in love & pies, I deleted it because of this. It’s infuriating and I wish the App Store would just remove the whole game. Terrible!
Cute
Cute game you can dip in and out of. The story line motivates you to create the pies for customers. I want to know how it pans out. Plus it’s very relaxing and pretty to look at.
Higher Levels Cost More
The story was nice. However, the higher up you go, the more it costs to get even a tiny bit of story. Another money grabbing game. Too bad developers get greedy and no longer care about the users game play. Another one I’ll be deleting

Why do you need an energy limit.
It is 2026, I understand that everything needs in-app purchases, and subscriptions, and gems, and bundles. But why do we need to limit our games to such an extent where the gameplay is artiticially reduced just for the potential to make a little extra money. Because realistically what am I doing, I’m spending my free 100 energy points for a couple tasks, maybe lasting 5-minutes of actual gameplay, and when it runs out I’m just exiting the app because even if this was the most awe enveloping game I’m not doing this. Merge Mansions, Merge Town, Love & Pies, they’re all the same game.
Almost perfect
I truly enjoy this game, but I find the sticker packs frustrating. I didn’t realize you only had 24 hours to use the dream sticker reward after earning it. So I was extremely disappointed because I had planned on using the dream stickers toward the end of the sticker pack event to fill in spots I hadn’t managed to find. It was frustrating to realize I had wasted time and gems while trying to complete challenges and earn high value sticker packs, only to find the dream stickers gone! I find the distribution of the sticker packs hard to understand as well. I sometimes complete half a dozen difficult orders to earn the 4 or 5 star packs only to get common stickers. Overall I enjoy the game to relax. But I tend to avoid playing after a sticker event ends because it feels frustrating and exhausting which defeats the point for me.
Didn’t pay, Paid and now no commercial for things I need
I was on this app before for years and was at a way advanced level than I was before and didn’t pay. Had commercials for energy and items in shadows that were big. Decide to pay and get less commercials for opportunities to earn energy and blinking items. I’m not donating another penny. Smh
Ads with non real game play
Game is still fun. Still like it. But now getting ads for it in different games and the play represented is not at all what the game is. Must be really hurting for money.
One of my favorite merge games!
I hope the developer comes out with more merge games like this. I’ve played dozens of different merge games over the years, and this one is by far my favorite. The graphics are incredible, and even the storyline is engaging—which is saying something, because I usually skip the story altogether.
Steals money, useless customer service.
I like this game a lot. It’s fun and easy to play. But at some point an update has it occasionally charging me when I don’t authorize a purchase. I have changed my password, required a PW for every purchase, turned ability to make purchases off, deleted and redownloaded the game. It still happens. CS is totally useless and tells me to talk to Apple, which has at least tried. I am very unhappy and will be deleting the game.

Could be abit better and more energy
Not a fan of the latest update
I really love this game. I love the graphics, storyline and how inclusive the characters are. I’ve paid out of pocket for the picnic pass and a few other things. I don’t mind supporting creators when I can. However, the latest up date (9.23.22) drastically changed the number of coins needed to advance the story. Before the update, things cost 36-90 coins to advance. Now it’s doubled all the way up to 180! The prizes you get for creating food seems to have remained the same. I won’t be deleting this game, I really do like it. But people who get frustrated by the slow game play will be even more frustrated now. And I probably won’t be playing it as much going forward. It’s a real shame.
Great but annoying
I've been playing this game for several months now and I can confidently confirm that improvements are needed in order to compete with other popular merge games. Firstly, less time needed for recharging generators - I should not have to play hourly in order to progress (this is a game after all) Secondly, and not so importantly, the amount of notifications is excessive. I just got 5 pop ups within the same second...

AD issues
I love this game - I’ve had it for years and love the simple gameplay and decoration aspect. My only issue is that sometimes when I watch ads in the game, they don’t give me the reward afterwards or they simply don’t allow me to exit out of the ad back into the game and I have to close the entire app. Not sure if this is a game issue or whoever is running the ads but it’s very annoying!
has potential
app has potential to be a fun merge game, but makes you wait extremely long to play the game so you can buy energy or coins. never understood the whole "you have to wait to play" thing till i realized it was just a money grab
Disappointed
Love the game and have played for a long time . Worked hard to finally complete a challenge and get the choose a sticker reward. I purposefully didn’t open it because I know they disappear shortly after opening. BUT It still disappeared. Maybe a warning before it goes. I log on multiple times a day and never was there a heads up. I’m so disappointed because the challenges are already so hard to complete. Now I feel like why even bother:(
best merge game out there
i LOVE merge games and this one definitely takes the cake. most merge games use ai to create stories and imagery but it is such a relief that this game is drawn and made by man. such cute stories and quests!
Still so many pop ups
I haven’t played in over a year. I tried to come back but there are still so many things you have to clock through to get to the game play. This was supposedly being addressed over 2 years ago. I know how the season pass works. It annoyed me so much having to click through the “activate” tutorial that I just closed and left the app again. Such a shame as this is a wonderful game. The start up struggle is such a turn off though.

Ok well this game is very fun and I think quite well organized, but there are definitely some problems. First one is the energy thing. Let me explain, when you’re doing the matching game thing every time you click on the regenerator it takes away one energy. One out of 100 by the way. Now that might sound like a lot, but it’s not. And then you have to wait a whole hour for it to restart. Like no just no. And then the next problem is the ad things. Like if you don’t play for like 3 days when you open the app it shows like 10 million “event ended” “missed event!” And there are like 15 I’m not even joking.

Good game
No ads and could keep you occupied. After I reached 23 I stopped playing because it didn’t seem like would go farther as quick as I was going in the beginning. It got a little boring and I downloaded a different merge game but I see myself redownloading it.
so many pop-ups!
I recently opened this game up again after a while of not playing, and I was wondering why I stopped at all, and then was quickly reminded: there are so. many. pop-ups. If you don’t open the game for a few days, you have to click through tens of pop-ups about events stopping and starting. I just want to get to the game! But the pop-up event notifications totally deter me from playing at all because they’re so excessive
Meh
I’m just not feeling it. The story is too similar to Gossip Harbor. We’ve got not-Quinn with her divorced self and fluorescent hair. Her daughter, not-Olivia who likes boy things. Her high school love interest, not-Harrison who works against not-Quinn to pay for not-Harrison’s-dad medical bills. Come on now…
Long time player
This game is great I have been playing for over 3 years. It has gotten me through 2 new born stages. This game has kept my attention like no other game has, I usually download and delete when I get bored. This one’s a keeper!
Don’t spend money!!!
Boring, repetitive and not a fully finished app! It’s not worth spending money, you have all the time in the world to play the same unfinished game! Today the app says update tomorrow, but can’t open the game. I’m about to win a contest I stupidly spent money on, probably why I can’t get in, they would rather me lose and spend more money.
Freezing
I only gave it 4 stars cuz it’s one of my favorites but a 3 really because I’ve gotten to level 17 &’ it keeps freezing idk why but I haven’t played in awhile but just want to play.
Used to love, boringly bored of boringness
Stories are silly and boring, not enough challenges you gave to spend a lot to win a big virtual nothing. I’m on day 105 but after my last 450 merges. I’m pied off. Characters are ridiculous who on earth is their target audience. Was great but like all IAP Games they eventually ,turn to pap.
Enjoy but too many pop ups
I enjoy playing this game but the pop ups in the beginning drive me insane, I just want to play the game like normal I dont care about the new events. If you want to advertise new events put it on the side or something where you click on it to see it instead of the tons of pop ups.
Amazing game, amazing team
This is one of the only mobile games that I’ve kept consistently. They listen to their players, and they make good content. I don’t personally go to in depth with the storyline so I wouldn’t really know where I’m at, but I can say when I first started playing it was interesting. I’ve spent a lot of money on this game and I could proudly say I don’t regret it, this game is a 10 out of 10. Please check this game out give it a try and support the team.💗
Not so much fun now…
It keeps crashing… there’s no support when you click the button here for support. Painful. Frustrating.
Undo button
The game is fun! Very addictive but great story and art, and love how the feature small artists in their sticker packs. I am BEGGING the devs for an undo button though. Just for like 5 seconds! How many times I’ve accidentally merged something I needed for an order and had to start over? Being able to undo it within the first five seconds would not make me want to rage quit as often. Thank you!!
don't spend money on this game, you'll just be penalized for it.
i enjoy this game, but i want to say it's absolutely ridiculous how when you spend money on anything, you're basically "punished" for weeks for spending money. once you send the game any money, expect to only get about up to fifty free energy through ads as opposed to the normal daily three hundred energy you can get through ads without spending money. when consumers try to spend money on your game, you punish them by giving them less opportunities to progress?! why would i want to support a game with my hard-earned money when i will simply just receive less opportunities to progress because of it? i spent money before in order to finish off a sticker album, and i learned my lesson on never doing that again. like seriously, i genuinely don't mind spending money on games, but that "glitch" or "rule" or whatever it is is ridiculous, and i will never put a cent into this game ever again because of the unfairness surrounding this feature.
So hard to progress
awesome but it takes so long to progress anywhere. it takes 600 coins just to buy one rug. I don’t like how you have to spend coins in order to just see the story and not even buy anything for your restaurant. I’ve been playing for a few months and have spent at least $25 and I’m still only on like the third room because it takes so many coins just to progress. And it’s pretty hard to get a good amount of coins unless you get a big order which also takes a while to actually finish it. It’s great, but it is just taking forever to see any progress other than the story. And each time you want to continue the story it’s about 200 coins when a regular order is around 25 to 50 coins, sometimes not even.

Got greedy with changes
I loved this game and happily paid to play but they clearly got greedy and lazy. Couldn’t be bothered making new content so you’re waiting two weeks for a new day of story, then they added a bait and switch feature where you can be working hard for an order and then as you go to fulfil it a fresh order with no rewards appears to clear the board. Ableist for people with not the best eyesight. I quit after this happened.
Level 55
I’ve been playing this game for awhile and I’m on level 55, granted there is so much about this game that is sweating really I do love it, no ads you don’t have to pay for anything I mean that’s pretty great, but I do have to say that as it’s gotten into the higher levels I feel like my generators are going backwards as in giving me the lowest they can in everything as much as they can, it’s pretty frustrating but I think the thing that has really gotten me is it takes a whole lot of time and effort to get say 354 coins which then you can only do one task which lately has either only been story driven or if she does decorate something she just does it done I don’t have a choice anymore, I’m not sure what’s going on I get it maybe gets harder as levels go on but please don’t actually take the fun out of the game that has always been there.
Fun game and good storyline BUT don’t make any purchases
I’ve been playing Love & Pies for a few years now and enjoy the storyline and seeing what’s going to happen next. I don’t like to spend money playing games but once in a while I will when I want to keep playing and am out of energy or other ways to earn energy to keep playing. I’ve done it a few times playing this game always hoping they changed their system but here we are a few years later into playing and NOTHING has changed. When you spend $ on the tip jar, buying gems or special bundles, it seems the game is set up to “punish” you for making purchases because before you make a purchase, you’re given the option to watch ads to earn more energy and also make the timer for the spawners go faster, once you buy any gems, the tip jar or special bundles, you MIGHT get a couple of ads to earn energy or speed up the timers but beyond those couple of ads, there aren’t any more and unless you’re coming back to the game every hour or so when your energy builds back up, there’s no way you’re completing the “tasks” to earn extra energy either. They make it near impossible to finish the tasks or to continue playing unless you want to KEEP buying more gems and bundles endlessly to be able to do so. I’ve learned my lesson on spending $ with this game since seeing now after playing for a few years that they haven’t made any changes with regard to how they take away the ability to watch ads to earn energy. It’s beyond frustrating when you like playing a game and want to continue playing but once you spend $ on something for it, you either need to keep spending or just deal with not being able to go further in the game for about a month or so after making any purchases when the ad watching ability goes back to “normal.” Because of this issue, I’d never recommend this game to friends or family.
Love and pies needs more
I love this game but at times it’s annoying. I’m very far in the game (level 9) for some of my food boxes and I still only get 25 energy when I watch videos. It’s been the same for 6 levels now. It should atleast be 40 or something. I should also be able to have more tools like something to upgrade a food item to the next level. I only got that once when I completed the sticker section. The stickers take too long to collect and there’s a low chance I will get to complete it. It’s just not fair. It takes about 400 energy to complete an order but I het little rewards for it. Such as when I get 30 mins to get extra coins per order. There should be no reason why it takes 200-600 energy to complete an order but I only get 20-40 cons as a reward that doesn’t even make sense. The rewards should match how much the food order takes to complete. I’m almost at level 10 for all my food boxes and i haven’t gotten any new percs since like level 3 or 4. Please update this. Thank you
Game freezes after last update
I’ve ran into a problem recently after updating the game to the latest version the game freezes right after launch
Such a shame
Ahh I absolutely loved this game. It is highly addictive and if you don’t mind the odd in app purchasing then you’d have really enjoy it. The competitions within are now impossible to achieve, prizes go missing and you now get very little for the in app purchases which are also much more expensive. Recently I was about to win the big prize (after allot of in app purchases-not proud of myself) and at the eleventh hour my album mysteriously dropped the last piece of the puzzle and boom- id spent a fortune- all for absolutely nothing. You’ll never win the big prize!! Because it’s all just about greed with this game now. I contacted the support to get to the bottom of this and they just fobbed me off. I’ve played this for years! It was my little escape. Don’t get sucked in to the scam! What a shame!

Hate small board
Love this game play it a lot. However this new update with the tiny board is ridiculous. I find myself not wanting to play because it’s so fiddly and silly. Please go back to the large board. You can’t play properly when it’s that tiny
