I joined in like 2023 or something like that, and have played since. LOVE THIS GAME
Zero stars
AI art cost cutting, and the app doesn't work anymore. I had ten items in my item queue from an event that just ended. Decided to collect my daily reward for tasks, and it deleted everything I had. Cutting corners for a worse product, it's a shame how my favorite phone game has become one I hate opening because of how buggy and little care the devs put in anymore.
Fun Game But Some Ads 🙄
I truly enjoy this game and play daily. I don’t mind ads that run four 30 seconds, but some run for 2 minutes long (CrownCoins Casino specifically). I end up closing the app and not play anymore because of it. Other than that, the game is easy and fun to play.
buggy & pay to play
Used to love playing this game, even though play is limited without having to pay. Haven't been able to load the game for weeks now since hitting "ok" to restore the reward of a previously watched ad makes the app freeze and there's no way to get app support. I hoped updating the app would resolve it but nope. Be warned you may get locked out

I’ve been playing this game on and off for a few years now. Its a lot of fun if you love merge games, and the storyline is cute. I really appreciate that the ads are optional- you can choose to watch an ad to get extra energy, get a duplicate item..etc..
Game won’t open!
Hi, i have been playing this game for awhile now and it’s my favorite game. However yesterday when i tried to get on, it would have a blue page come up saying “Oops something went wrong” and it would reload then bring me to the “Merge mayor” page and then back to the reloading screen over and over again making me unable to get into the game. It is very frustrating. The game is updated and so is my phone and i have a steady wifi, not sure why this is happening.

I have genuinely loved Merge Mayor for years. It is the only game app I have never deleted from my phone, which says a lot because I usually rotate through games pretty quickly. The gameplay is fun, relaxing, and has kept me coming back longer than any other mobile game. Unfortunately, I have been playing less and less because of the ads, specifically the Monopoly GO ads. They are constant, and they frequently take 3–5 minutes before I am finally able to close them. I have reported them as broken and marked them as not relevant, but they keep showing up. At this point, the ad experience is making the app frustrating instead of relaxing. I am not leaving because I dislike Merge Mayor. I am leaving because these ads have made the app feel almost unusable. I would genuinely love to keep playing the way I used to, but the current ad experience is pushing me away from a game I have enjoyed for years.
Fix this issue please pretty please
When I log onto your game, I don’t want to be visually berated with every single event I missed while I was gone like sometimes I just want to go in the game merge and leave but recently every time I go in the game I end up just leaving before I can even get through all of the menus of stuff I missed I just click X a bunch of times and get annoyed please make it so that you have to click on them and it’s like notifications in the game. I just wanna login and play sometimes without having to click through like 10 tabs of X
Best merge game ever!
I've been playing this game since it was released. I started it on my tablet and now I play on my phone. I spend money on the game every once and a while because I know I won't stop playing it. I don't normally spend money on apps or games unless I know I will use it for a long time.
Game stopped working
While I was playing this game it all of a sudden froze. I exited out and went back into the game. Ever since then the game acts like it’s going to start up and then I get an oops on my screen and then it try’s to reload but can’t. What is wrong? Why can’t I play the game?

Previously good, currently bloated
I used to put a decent amount of time into this game, but have unfortunately deleted it recently, The game ends up becoming this tedious and slow loop while trying to upgrade your generators to the higher levels and it sadly makes it stop being fun. In addition, the developers just don’t really know when to stop. Every time you open the app you’re forced to look at 5-10 different notifications of what’s going on. For example, they’ve added this card pack system for some reason and you’re forced to do all that right when you open the app. In addition, some features make no sense. If you make your own club and have no one else in it, the game will automatically kick you if you forget to open the app for a few days. It used to be simple and fun, but the game has become a bloated mess of everything, and they’ve changed so much of the art style and lost the charm it had.

Disappointment that when I swapped phones it removed all my progress, I believe I also was in like lvl 178, but this was like over a year ago. I miss it but don’t wanna start over

I absolutely love this game and would rate it 5 stars but they use AI generated art for the stickers. Another merge game I play uses fanart, this would be a great free alternative.
Fun
You are the Mayor of a broken city and you merge items that are needed to fix the city. But you have 100 energy and each time you produce an item it wastes an energy. One energy replenishes in 2 minutes. But they created batteries that you get rewarded sometimes, with can replenish energy a lot faster.
Ads are toooo long
Something changed about 2 weeks ago with longer ads that sometimes freeze up And after spending the time you don’t get credit for it I am ready to look for a new game. When I reached out to support I was told to restart my phone or make more storage. No!
Roller Skate event glitch
The roller skate collection event is glitching. They don’t collect when I double tap them and are taking up space on the board.

I have played this game for years and have always loved it. I recently had an issue with the game not loading and I contacted support. They fixed it for me ASAP and were very nice. Overall great company and great game!

Task menu is confusing
I have tasks that I follow, but I’ll merge something and see a checkmark and just not know what it’s about. And then I completed a task that wasn’t even on my radar. You made the task menu a scroll thing so I’m not sure if your excuse is there wasn’t enough space cuz with a scroll menu you can absolutely make enough space
AI is going to kill this game
I’ve played this game for years and it’s been pretty great! Switching the art and game over to AI garbage now all of a sudden is so frustrating. Why throw the game away when none of these bad decisions make any sense. Do better. Your loyal players will support you but not when you use AI and become like every other game on the App Store :/
The new character design is….not great.
Look, out of most merge games out there, this one is the best one. Been playing for a long time, but I gotta say. That new design for Olivia? Not great. Really loves the aesthetic cube look at the characters had but now? Complete generic look. Please change it back. Other then that, good game.

Downhill!
Idk if my initial review will still be posted or not, so I will not repeat. RNG for daily checklist has increased gem requirements. Where they used to be necessary 2x a week at max, it is now 4-5. Since gems are no longer given as rewards in events that CAN be completed without spending money (sky delivery/jelly events), it is a push for money. Do not spend money on this game. It’s a rat race that never ends and they don’t deserve it tbh.
Great game but i have concerns
As someone who’s been playing this for a long time i love it but having to watch ads for certain things like energy sucks. I’d pay for an ad free option if it was a thing. Other than that the cards shouldn’t be ai generated but made by the community.
Gone down hill recently
I play this game a lot but in the last few weeks it’s become boring. Less rewards and now cards have been introduced which means even less rewards for playing. No new areas have been included for ages and it’s going nowhere. I’m gonna need a new casual game to play

Remove AI Generated Content
I played this game for years, it was so fun and I really enjoyed it. But, why the ai art? Is it to save money? Time? Is it to make what you thought would’ve been way harder without? It doesn’t make the game better. Just adds a stain on an otherwise fantastic game. Until it’s taken away, consider this uninstalled.
Crashing
Most games I play are to earn Swagbucks, this was one of them. For a merge game I certainly have enjoyed this more than others. However, since this recent update was announced (in game notification to update) it has crashed every time I tried to open. Both before and after updating.

THIS GAME USES AI
I was extremely disappointed to see that the recent additional of the seasonal album events uses generative AI for their art assets. I expected better of Starberry. Many other merge games hire artists to create these assets. If Starberry cannot afford to hire artists for this mechanic, then it shouldn't exist. AVOID THIS GAME if you don't want to support the plagiarism of online creators through the use of generative AI.
Remove AI ART
Been playing consistently since 2022, so I love the game, but why the ai art?? Not only is it not good lucking for the game (the reason i loved this game was because it wasn’t gimmicky for money), but because it looks CHEAP and I feel like we aren’t rewarded as much. I’m a F2P player and I really don’t fw the Ai Art. Besides that, game is amazing.
Crashing
Love this game, but since the update, it crashes every time I open it, unless I am off wifi. Please can this be fixed
Halloween Event
Since the Halloween event ended and the spooky air as well, I cannot play because I got the finished pumpkin prize from spooky air which was number 1 but because the Halloween event ended it always ends up reloading the game. Is there any way you might be able to fix this?

Was five stars a year ago
Recent changes are not value-added. The card game is a nuisance and the AI-generated art is charmless. Prefer to support human game artists, and the original ‘blocky’ game art is better. Still, this is one of the most playable merge games, but too many low-value side games are a threat to the fun.
Annoying part of game
I’ve played this game a little under a year and I love it. Normally I’d give it a 5 star but I ran into a problem which really really bugged me. In the storage area of the game, on the top of the screen you have really difficult challenges to get. If you have any of them they get highlighted in green. And if you double click them then it automatically sells whatever is green from your inventory. I had no idea about this so I accidentally sold 3 of my buffalos when I had zero intention on selling them. Was really annoyed cause there was zero prompt for it, there was no indication that the green symbol means you’re selling them I didn’t know. So I sold 3 buffalo which took forever so now I have zero animals. I’m just really annoyed now I have to get those back which will take around a month I’d say. Please for the love of god fix that problem so you have an indication of what you’re doing
i love this game but i can’t play anymore
Now when i start the game, olivia is telling me i have new token offers and highlighting the Discord icon, but i can’t do anything. restarting the app doesn’t help. i’m so sad.
