False Notifications
The app used to function well while pairing. Lately it continues to send critical alerts it hasn’t been notified in 7 mins. I’ve dug everywhere to see why always isn’t available, but the app seems to be using a non standard way to send certificates alerts. After killing the app on the receiving device, I continue to get critical notifications while at dinner or sleeping. I paid for the lifetime membership, so very disappointed
Unverzichtbar geworden
Wir sind drei Monate im Jahr Segeln und ausschließlich vor Anker. Die App ist komfortabel und zuverlässig, leider nicht bei zwei Geräten - hier bricht die Verbindung regelmäßig nach 1-2 Stunden ab, was extrem ärgerlich ist (gerade hier ist Zuverlässigkeit ein MUSS). iPad bleibt als Sender mit stabiler Internetverbindung an Bord, iPhone als Empfänger geht an Land. Entfernung nie mehr als 2 bis max. 5km. Aus diesem Grund nur 4 Sterne
Probleme bei der Verknüpfung Sender/Empfänger
Irgendwie funktioniert die Funktion der Fernüberwachung nicht richtig. Ständig erhalte ich die Nachricht, dass der Sender seit 7 Minuten kein Update mehr geschickt hat. Selbst wenn beide iPhones im selben WLAN sind und definitiv stabilen Internetzugang haben. Es gibt keinerlei Infos darüber, warum dieses Problem auftritt.

Super Hilfe, ohne die App habe ich nie ruhig geschlafen und mir alle paar Stunden den Wecker gestellt, jetzt checke ich nur bei einem Alarm die Plausibilität und gehe nicht mehr so oft an Deck. Meine Crew und ich möchten das nicht mehr missen!
Shuts off after a couple hours
This app worked perfectly for me for over a year until I decided to upgrade to the paid subscription. Once I did that every couple hours it will shut down and loose the anchor and will no longer be set or working and it always does this it wasn’t just a one time thing. Funny as this was the most expensive subscription out of all the anchor alarms
Great tool.
Very easy to use and very accurate, however if you want to keep it tight, you need to start it as you drop the anchor. First time I used it, I set the alarm hours after I anchored and it alarmed all night because the ring it sets when started may be centred somewhere where the anchor is already at full stretch. If wind turns, it easily leaves the ring. Only fix is to widen your ring. Set it as you drop the anchor and it is awesome protection!
Schade
Auf meinen iOS/Apple Geräten schaltet sich die App in den Morgenstunden selber ab. Vom Support bisher keine Antwort. Deshalb ist die App unbrauchbar, obwohl ich das Handling sonst gut finde. Abo wird gekündigt.

Used this app many times and it works perfectly.! I will definitely continue using this app.! Safety out on a boat is always extremely important and it’s a relief to be able to use apps like this one that you need to count on and you can .!!

iOS app keeps restarting not something I can trust.
Tolle App, aber ….
… noch toller wäre eine Integration der Watch. Zum Beispiel könnte man in dem Fall das Telefon auf dem Boot lassen und die Watch meldet sich, wenn der Alarm ausgelöst wird.
Issues
Paid for App. It keeps stopping without warning leaving me with no anchor alarm. Once every 3-4 days. Messaged through the app, heard nothing. Waste of money. Disappointing not to hear back. Good when it does work, terrible when it just stops, no warning, no notification.
Simple to use, but doesn’t stay on.
I love the simplicity. However, the app does not get priority in the iOS to stay functional when other programs are running. Several of the past days it has been running as expected, then when returning to check on the anchor track after being on other programs, the track is gone and I need to place the marker and guess where the anchor is on the map and adjust over time as the boat moves. Not a good thing when you want to go to sleep.
Sehr hilfreiche App
Wir nutzen diese App seit ca. 6 Monaten in Griechenland, wo Ankern bekanntermaßen täglich notwendig ist. Wir leben seit Jahren auf dem Boot und nutzen die Fernüberwachung. Eine echt feine Sache. Die einzige Verbesserung welche wir vermissen ist das SPEICHERN einer Ankerposition. Warum ? Selten, aber ab und an bricht die App am Schiff ohne Meldung ab, oder verliert die Ankerposition. Wir setzen daher immer einen Wegpunkt auf dem Plotter. Diesen müssen wir dann mittels Bereichsverschiebung wieder manuell herstellen. Eine gespeicherte Position wiederherzustellen wäre hier sehr hilfreich und komfortabel. Daher nur 4 von 5 Sternen. Insgesamt jedoch ein hilfreiches MUSS für alle Ankerer.
Does not stay on
I wish I didn’t buy this. What a huge waste of money. You only find out after purchase that the app does not stay on so you go to bed and think the app is on and it’s not. It doesn’t track the boat movement like other apps and is 5x the price.
Nearly perfect, but one feature missing
Perfect app. But please add option to locate anchor with heading and distance instead of GPS location. I want to use the anchor from the steering wheel, with the iPad point towards the anchor and a given distance to the anchor (= boat length).
Verbesserungsbedürftig
Habe die App für einen zweitägigen Hausboot Urlaub heruntergeladen, da wir blutige Anfänger sind. In Nacht eins sind wir quer über den See abgetrieben, da die App anscheinend nicht im Hintergrund funktioniert. In Nacht zwei habe ich das Programm offen laufen lassen (was ja nicht der Sinn sein sollte), abgetrieben sind wir erneut, wenn auch nicht so sehr. Wenn man jedoch das Handy in die Hand nimmt um die App danach auszustellen, fängt diese an Alarm zu machen.
Gut mit bitte um Verbesserung
Die App funktioniert sehr gut aber das mit der Benachrichtigung is verbesserungswürdig. Warum kann diese App noch keine kritischen Benachrichtigungen? Das wäre einfach top das gäbe dann auf jeden Fall 5 Sterne!
Essential
Absolutely amazing app. It literally saved my life. I was on anchor watch in the Bahamas at great day cay and my anchor chain broke ( the weakest link is a real thing) about 20 feet from the anchor. 5 am in the morning in pitch black my alarm went off. Visual I couldn’t tell if I was drifting and all I could see was the chain still in the water. I had just enough time to start my engines and avoid rocks 20 ft away
Anchor position lost repeatedly!
It’s running, then It’s not! What? I manually have to chose where I set the anchor then modify the radius as dots appear. This is ridiculous and unreliable!
Funktioniert erstmal zuverlässig
Hilfreich ist, dass vergangene Positionen des Schiffes für eine bestimmte mit angezeigt werden. Leider werden sie nach ca 1h wieder gelöscht. Super wäre, wenn diese Punkte alle bestehen bleiben und man in den Punkt klicken könnte um zu sehen, wann man auf diesem Punkt stand. Super wäre auch, man könnte den Ankerspot dann beim Verlassen/Beenden mit seiner Markierung und wirklichen Punkten speichern, mit Notizen die man anfügen kann.
Stürzt immer wieder ab, und gibt Fehlalarm bei verbundenen Gerät
Der Ankeralarm stürzt ab und steht dann nicht mehr zur Verfügung, worst case, wenn man ihn braucht. Aber statt dessen gibt er verbundenen Geräten Alarm, obwohl die Verbindung bereits von mir unterbrochen und dazu der Verlauf gelöscht wurde. Weckte mich oft deshalb ohne Not nachts :-(
No Alarm Sound until I reopen the app
I think it has to do with an update. Lately a lot of times, when I move from my anchorage no alarm sounds. Once I open the application then it sounds. Another problem I always had was connection with a second phone. If for some reason the app dies then the connection is lost. Also if I get an alarm and want to move the anchor or increase the radius it is not possible. This is an app that you either trust or not. I used to trust it but not anymore. L
QR code wrong
Hi , I’ve just purchased to be able to use linking another device for when onshore and the QR code takes you to spare parts for Mercedes, it doesn’t help at all linking the remote device .
Quits unexpectedly
Runs in the background for some time. Randomly quits with no warning. This is a major safety issue. Do not depend on this app alone.
Great for keeping an eye on your boat
Have been using for the past week for a week long trip. Love it. Only suggestion I would make is that it would be great if you could adjust the anchor settings fa front the remotely paired device. These settings are a bit of guesswork as you tend to set it up after dropping anchor. If you set them incorrectly or just too tightly and then leave the boat you can get constant alarms on the remote device saying the boat has sailed away. This means you end up disabling the alarm even though you just want to make some changes remotely and keep using it.
Have to constantly restart the anchor
This weeks great for a couple of weeks but now it times out and I have to restart it. Can’t reply on it.
Easy to use but...
Easy to use app but despite paying for the Pro version, there is no discernible difference to the product eg no audible alarm and no history. Why?
Einfach vor Anker liegen
Was für eine prima App! Sie ist klein, will keine Daten haben, ist übersichtlich und bestens verständlich. Sie macht genau das, was sie soll und bringt richtig Sicherheit ins Schiff! Noch nicht gefunden habe ich den Knopf, mit dem ich dem Betreiber einen finanziellen Beitrag senden kann, ohne die Vollversion zu erwerben. Eine ganz klare 5-Sterne-App!!!

Entweder ich bin zu doof oder der Hinweis, dass man für die Nutzung des Fernüberwachungsfeatures ZWEI Vollversionen kaufen muss fehlt.
Sicher ankern ist wichtig, gewarnt zu werden ebenso
Mit dem Ankeralarm bin ich super zufrieden. Einfach einzustellen und bisher hat uns der Alarm geweckt wenn es zu windig wurde und wir uns zu sehr bewegt haben. Besser mal aufstehen und sich dann beruhigt wieder schlafen legen. Gutes kleines Program!
Cannot be used in a group
Somehow it picks up every boat in the area and constantly tells me the anchor is sliding when it is not. Map screen shows me as being one of the other boats anchored around me in the bay

Seems like it could be a keeper but is useless without an audible alarm.
Remotefunktion ungenügend
Hat man auf dem Empfänger einmal die App beendet, gibt es keine Möglichkeit mehr sich erneut mit dem Sender zu verbinden. Optional hätte auch gerne eine Mail oder iMessage vom Sender, wenn das Boot die überwachte Zone verlässt.
Good nights sleep
I used the app every night with the Leopard 4000 between Antigua and Barbuda. It is simple and intuitive to use, easy to adjust, and works consistently as your GPS signal which was usually 6 feet. Slept better on board than I do at home with the security of this app

Sehr gute App mit Weiterentwicklungspotential
Ich habe die App heuer für unseren Balearentörn genutzt und bin prinzipiell sehr zufrieden! Dennoch hätte ich zwei Punkte: 1) Möglichkeit zur Anpassung des Alarmbereichs als z.B. nur Teil eines Kreises (90, 180 Grad). 2) Kein Alarm (oder anderer Alarm) wenn der ermittelte Standort eine große Ungenauigkeit hat und dadurch der Alarm ausgelöst würde.

No audible warning
Great alarm that goes off by showing you on the screen which makes it useless for overnight. Imagine waking up to seeing "Ships Afloat!" On the screen but no idea how long it's been In that mode
Wählbarer Alarm wäre schön
Schade, wir haben die Vollversion gekauft und mussten feststellen, dass der Empfänger auch immer die App geöffnet haben muss um einen Alarm zu erhalten. Macht keinen Sinn. Zudem sollte es Wahlmöglichkeiten geben, wie der Alarm erfolgen soll: nur ein kurzer Hinweis auf dem Display ist sinnlos, wenn man schläft.
No audible alarm.
When I get an alarm, my phone vibrates and I get a visual notice. But nothing audible. When I set my alarm clock, I get an audible. So my iPhone is working ok.
